jason lost our car since he was driving with no insurance and i had to bail him out of jail for it.... which cost money that i really didnt have and now i will be behind on my bills... which really sucks!! but i do have him back home and that makes me happy but i am having to either walk everywhere or pay for a taxi which sucks a**!!...

My sneakers are my ride, but I'm baching it care free. With regular work and responsibilities, and you're probably living in a much bigger city, that has got to suck pretty bad. How about busses? If you can get yourself a pass, maybe it'll work out alright. Look at it from the perspective that you'll be saving money and not being as much of a d**k to the environments, and it might not be so bad, eh?

Well that's no good. Hopefully everything will work out, and you'll get your car back without too much trouble. And once you do, the first thing I'd recommend is to get insurance on it, so it doesn't happen again. I agree with everyone else, maybe see what sort of options you have in buses and other public transportation. Just be careful, bad things can happen on buses, from what I've read.

I'm kinda lost... since I don't have a car. Forgive me. I didn't think that you can lose a car because someone was driving with no insurance. crying I thought the only way you can lose a car is if you were double-parking in an area that you are not supposed to be or something like that.

Well it's illegal to drive without insurance...... At least in my state. So if someone stops you and you don't have insurance, they can't in good police standing let you drive home illegally.

yea driving without insurance is illegal here to and you car is towed away to never never land and when you get out of jail they tell you where it is.... you have to call the place that has it and if cops put it their then the vehicle cant leave unless you have a drivers licenses, copy of insurance, new tag for the vehicle, and proof of registration of the vehicle or it can not leave.... which really sucks a**!!! i do live in a big (kinda) city.... buses, i rather not ride because if you miss your time then your screwed.... also the walking is good for me since im pregnant..... it maybe over 100 degrees farnhight but im okay..... i can afford a taxi when i need it and other than that we are just saving up for the car.... when we go to the grocery store... we borrow a buggy and well have yet to need to go to the store again but i dont think they really cared because we told them ahead of time we were going to take it and they asked why.... the store manager was okay with it and now its in our apartment with us.. lol

thanx ya'll... yea no one knew i was pregnant... or that i knew of... im not talking about a electrical buggy... im talking about a normal buggy.. like one you push around and put your groceries in while your shopping.... we got our car back so far... so its already better than it was but we can not drive it yet....
