 Rising out of the water apears a strange figure, tenticles squirming from his face, barnicles growing off him and the garb of a pirate. Davey Jones made his way to the land in search of his love. He knew she was here, he could smell her, the divine aroma of a goddess. His heart lept, he was so close now, would she still take him? He had abandoned his duty on the Flying Dutchman the day he searched for her and she was not there.. she had broken his heart.. did she still love him? Want him? He had to find out. Another had taken his place on the Flying Dutchman, the ship had a captain and Davey was free to find her, to be with her. Would she break his heart again? He had to know, he had to try. He went farther and farther inland, no longer being the captain of the Flying Dutchman had freed him from only having a day every ten years on land. Now he could travel freely between land and sea in search of his lost love.

She had to be here he just knew it, where else could she be... he had looked so long for her and her scent was so strong here... He pushed deeper and deeper inland keeping his senses sharp for any signs of her, he soon came to a clearing where others were milling about his eyes darting from each to the next in search of her. would she be among them? He couldn't see her, she wasn't here, would they know where to find her? It didn't seem likely, nore in her nature so he moved on in search of her

 Tia Dalma nudged the ingredients she had on her table about, trying to decide exactly what she wanted to do with it. She had made a concoction for Jack Sparrow, and he was an idiot. So now it was time to do some work for a more worth wile venture. What, she didn't really know at the moment, but she was certain the purpose would come to her soon.
Her little home was in a hollowed out tree in the forest. She had shelves upon shelves of nick knacks and ingredients for her spells and what not. It was a perfect lair for her, at least she thought so. What others thought wouldn't bother her much, considering the only one she did value the opinion on was... well, she wasn't sure. She had not seen Davey since that last time she had become goddess.

Davey continued onward in his search, stopping now and again to smell the air when he would catch a fleeting wiff of a smell which reminded him of her. The forest around him seemed warm and friendly despite the on comming dark, but perhaps it would be best to look of a place to weather the night rather than getting himself lost in an unfamiliar place. He had traveled far enough from the shore that the salt watered air could no longer be smelt. He wandered on looking for a well sheltered place to rest, he had seen omnious coulds in the sky when he arived and he didn't want to take any chances, best always be prepaired for the worst least the sea take you to her depths. The light had all but gone now and a wind begun to blow, he would need to find shelter soon or be caught exposed. He waited a moment as his eyes adjusted to the new darkness around him and in that short moment the rain began to fall, lightly at first but ever heavier until in the distance Davey caught sight of a light glow, there must be shelter there for the light to remain in this weather he headed towards it, keeping his eyes fixed on the light for fear it would go out and he would be stuck in the storm all night, as it drew nearer he caught the scent of his love... it must be her for him to smell her in this rain when all smells are washed away, he came to a stop ariving at a hollowed out tree from which the light eminated.. standing in the entry way he looked in at her, she was busy with her potions having not noticed him, he gave a small cough to announce his presence.

Looking up quickly at the cough, Tia blinked. "Davey Jones?" she asked, her accent making it sound as if she had a bit of a cold. It had gotten very dark outside, the clouds had moved in faster than she had expected. She had smelt the whiff of salt air earlier, but it had gone as quickly as it had come.
She was surprised at the appearance of anyone at her door, let alone her lost love. "So you live... and you are away from the sea? How can this be?"

Davey gave a weak smile unsure if the welcoming was warm or not "Aye, it is me, how are ye?" He chose not to answer the latter questions as he hadn't a true enough answer to them... the smells of her potions was getting to him and even in his soggy state he began to relax and feel quite warm... wither it truly was the potions or just the sight of her, he didn't know... didn't care... he even began to forget her betrayal, how she broke his heart... he was feeling warmer than he had in years "I see ye made ye'self quite a home here, decide to settle down a bit eh?"

Tia smiled coyly. "Yes, somewhat.... More to de point, I have made a new home ta suite my purposes. I have warmth, security, shelter, and there is more dan enough room for my potion ingredients. Perhaps room enough for another as well? Enter, do not just stand out dare in the rain."

Davey would have blushed if he were the type, he hadn't expected her to be so welcoming, he gave himself a quick shake before entering despite being outside so he wouldn't drip as much water everywhere. He looked around from where he stood, everything about the place was her, now that he was here he didn't know what to say or do, he hadn't exactly planned this far "I see ye have a bit more potions dan last time, been keepin yerself busy den?"

"I do me best." Tia replied, shuffling some of the items on the table about. "Now den.... I suppose you might be needin a place to stay den? It's cold and wet out there, nice and warm in my home. You are welcome, of course. Will you stay?"

"If yeh would have me, I'd be honor'd ta stay in yer company." He wished he could kiss her.. to pick up where they had left off... but after so long and what all had happened it wouldn't be propper, even for a pirate, he instead chose to wander through the rows of potions examining them for a period of time and trying to stay out of Tia way while she worked, not wanting to impose upon her now that he had her close he wanted to keep her near without smothering her... that would drive her away, he knew she loved her freedom, hated to be tied down, she was the sea and he loved her for it, it was the very same reason he was a pirate, to be free of all ties, to go where he pleased.. he would give it up for her, he loved her so much... but she was the sea... she could never give that up, not for him or any other... he knew that and understood it... but it was hard to accept

"You seem ta be deep in tought Davey.... What is on your mind?" Tia asked, watching him stalk through her home. She thought it odd for him to be so deep and brooding, but it gave him that glint of danger that she always adored about him.

Davey looked up at her without saying anything for a moment he hadn't expected her to notice really "its been a long time love, just takin it all in, seein yer beautiful face seems too good ter be true" He hadn't expected to say that, it just came out.. but now that he had he tooks the moment and steped towards her, looking at her with a lovers smile "I missed yeh" he even dared carress her face with his semi normal paw, "the sea ain't been the same wit'out yeh"

Davey took a defencive step back with a huff "And who was it that only gave me one day out of every ten years to visit the one I loved and then never showed? Ten years I devoted my life to your cause, ten years and you wouldn't give me one day, you broke that heart, made it useless and a burden... made eternity seem like torture.. what did you expect of me... I'm only ...was only a man... no god or deity... a man in love ... as unrequented as that may be" tears had formed in his eyes though masked by his over all wetness, and despite all effort to sound angry his voice cracked with sadness

"Davey... as I told you, dat.... human body that the pirates bound me to, made it impossible to move as freely and as I wanted." Tia said, putting a paw up to his face, making him look at her. "You have no idea what I had to go tru myself, being dat I was so hampered by dese limitations. I am glad though, that we are permitted to be together now."
