~finally starting~
I woke up to face another dreay day at school then come home to no one. Sigh sometimes it's as if I'm alone in the world almost like there's nothing to live for. Everyone at school ignores me there's no one at home. Some days I don't bother to leave home. I grabbed my backpack and walked to school great rain. Oh well prefect start to another perfect day.

Along the road, sounds could be heard. a snarl here or there, some rustling of the bushes, and snapping of twigs. Something was there, but there was no way to be sure of it. The sounds were so faint that they could easily be someone's imagination getting the best of them. And yet, it didn't feel like the sounds were being imagined.

I started hearing growling, please be the johnson's dog a little shitzu is nothing. I quickened my pace the adrenline rising. I heard it again full speed running.

The pounding of paws could be heard. It had to be coming from something much larger than the Johnson's dog. A dark figure lept from out of the bushes with it's arms outstretched as it caught its prey. The look in the being's eyes could easily make a person's blood run cold. The weight of it's body was far too heavy; it couldn't be pushed off easily. Its fur was dark blue in color and black in a few patches. Oddly, the being appeared to be wearing some clothing.

I was tackled to the ground I felt the skin come off. I couldn't push it off or roll away, i was trapped. I looked into the eyes I felt paralized. I could feel the hot breath, the bared fangs getting closer and closer. I screamed "HEEEEEELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLPPPP!"

The beast had seen this all before. His victim getting panicky and screaming, trying to get him off, and then their expressions as they realized there was no hope for them. But something was different this time. As the beast stared into the eyes of his newest victim, he began to feel horrified, as if he'd chosen the wrong person to attack. The horror began to show in its eyes, and the beast no longer snarled. It pounced back into the bushes, and then everything was quiet. The beast had forgotten something in his haste. A necklace with a garnet set into it. The garnet was fairly large and red. A name was etched on the back of the necklace.

It left. I I well fainted I almost got killed what did you expect? I woke up in the hospital afraid and sweating.

Nobody believed the story. They found it to be far fetched. "She's just making it up. You can see that she obviously slipped in a puddle and hit her head." However, nobody seemed to notice the unexpected guest who was peeking through the window. The malice that had been in it's gaze was nowhere in sight. The mother picked up the necklace. "So who's Dante? A boy you like?" Upon hearing his name, the beast's eyes widened. He knew that in order to get back his amulet, he would have to go in there when everyone had left.

Everyone told me I was lying but I saw it I had proof! I looked at the necklace again Dante who the heck was Dante? I'd finally calmed down a bit after they decided I 'needed' some morphine. Soon everyone had left and I felt scared truly scared.

After the other people had left, Dante decided to try and sneak in through the window. However, he didn't know that the girl was still awake. He pried the window open using his claws. He then climbed in. It was then that he noticed that the girl was awake. He could see the scream coming. "Wait, don't! I- I just wanted to get something of mine." His muscles tensed as he waited for her to scream.

I was on morphine so I couldn't focus on screaming so I sat there with a dumb look like some druggie. I managed "Why did you attack me?" it didn't sound as easy as that was typed.

Dante looked down. "I have to eat somehow. But for some reason, I couldn't eat you." He relaxed a bit. He still felt a bit uneasy.

Dante couldn't help but feel bad as he continued on. "Humans provide a better meal for us, and are easier to catch. Deer, on the other hand, are difficult to catch and not as filling."
