The suikoden 1 army
Suikoden 2 Army
Suikoden 3 Armies
Suikoden 4 Navy
Suikoden 5 Army

Hmm that's a rather tough one neutral They're all pretty darn strong if you ask me. But maybe most likely V's army since they have such advantage with them and their abilities to battle on both land and water effectively. Plus the Hero is a darn Prince who, not only has the regular support of his freckin' NATION but also the support of the SoDs. So he'll more than likely round up a huge number of fighting power. Then there's the Dragon Calvary people who are good on land and in water and they're pretty strong to boot, regular ships may not stand a chance at their...whatever you call it. So, so far I think V's army would win.
The other games DO have huge dragons and such, but you can always light them on fire or throw them into whirlwinds with Levi's magic xD lol and I wonder where Jeane and Viki will be if all five armies decide to battle it out with no consideration to time of course. neutral
SO THEY SHOULD ALL JUST BAND TOGETHER AND REVIVE LUC SOMEHOW AND GO KICK HIKUSAAK'S BUTT!!! XDD MUHAHAHA!!!

I haven't played V yet, but I think II's army would win because they are more united (in the game at least) to a single goal so that they can work together more.

Suikoden 1 army had 4 true runes too if you think about it (sort of). Soul Eater, Dragon, Night, and True Wind. (And Leknaat could possibly help in a tight spot adding another half)
True Runes aside though I'd go for the original game's army simply for the great diversity. They have so many races and different kinds of units, so they are equipped for practically anything. "See what elves can do with arrows!" Need Kirkis say more? domokun

dont forget though that the S4 navy has rune cannons and personally the only thing stronger than them are true runes

You know... I've actually gone to thinking... SIV FTW. Because... umm... Rune of Punishment pwns all. Why not SIII? Because the True Fire Rune ******** sucks. And so does every other rune in SIII that can attack your allies.
Dumb.
