So, I want to get members steadily rolling into the guild, to keep it lively.
I was thinking we could have some sort of promotional art contest.
Also, would anybody be interested in an art auction or art shop with users in the guild (either for profit for yourself or the guild- whichever you guys wanna do)? I created a simple sketch shop for fundraising for guild contests, but it's really boring doing it by myself.
This would be an excellent way to be like "look how awesome we are~ and check out this awesome place we lurrrve!"
I don't know. What type of things do you think will bring users into the guild? And are you interested in the Red Line Factory shop/auction?
Spread the word heart ?

biggrin hawt! good idea! i added the little banner up thar' too surprised
is nobody interested in a guild art auction / shop crying ? the profits wouldn't have to go to the guild. it's just more about doing something together :]

I'd love to do a shop, although I think only half of the profits should go to the guild.
I'm not good enough to do an auction though. xD
I wouldn't even know where to start.
Although, if you're thinknig of advertising, siggy really is the best thing to do.
Go to lots of art whore threads, like the "Whore Hangout".
That's how I got to this guild. ^^

I don't really have time right now to do an auction. Plus, I'm part of a shop too.
sweatdrop Also depends on how many people are gonna be in the auction. ^_^; I don't like the idea of having too many people.
Well, if we're to have an auction, I have an idea. divide the artists up into groups. So that there are at most groups of 4-6. This way we can earn something individually and people can also decide what to do with their profit. Donate or keep.
About advertising, I found this place from an invite. I am a critic/artist so I found it a nice place. >.>; But I've found other places through siggies at auctions. XD; I click on links if they're on the sigs of my art whore friends at auctions.

You could have one of the weekly contests have a theme of designing banners. Then again, looking at Starshine's post, I'm thinking my idea isn't really a new one.

I'd really love to participate in a guild auction, since I've never held/been in one before. o3o
As for the shop thing, I have an idea. Maybe it should be owned by a handful of "permanent" artists, and there could be weekly/monthly guest artists, to sort of show off all the different styles and many varied yet talented artists we get here.
I'd also be happy to make banners/get my amazingly talented graphic designing friend to help me, if you would like more. :3
I come from the Whore Hangout as well, that's a GREAT place to advertise this guild. >w<

I wouldn't mind doing a joint shop/auction. Though, like Rensing, I've never done an auction before. u_u;
It's just that my art isn't as good in comparison to a lot of people. =__=;
I've put the banner in my sig aswell~ Hope to get this place more active!

There are really not requirements, just that you're willing to make art for the winner 3nodding
I have recruited quite a few people through picture post, but, a good portion of them are not active.

I think this Guild is great for helping in art and more things.
I dont know if you did something, but maybe could be a good moment to try again and advertise the guild ^^
