I don't think my gf was ready for a relationship.
I asked her out and I call her a lot. But every time I do, we talk as though we're just two girls on the phone. Which is okay. Except.
That's how she always talks to me.
She never flirts with me, and when I flirt with her all I get in return is "aw that's sweet". I hate to sound like one of those guys/girls who "needs some action" but I do! I'm in a relationship, I expect at least SOME flirting.
Also on her myspace, she put her status from "single" to "swinger." No, you're in a relationship.
Ahh. I'm just insecure and confused.

Don't condemn your natural urges just because other people way over-simplify their lives into eat, sleep, and ********. It has a perfectly normal place in life, and I've never known a relationship to work without physical affection, even if it isn't sex.
Miss Sarah, it just sounds like your girlfriend has some growing up to do, and maybe it would be better apart, since you're at a different stage in your life.
That said, the more moderate approach would be to confront her about her Myspace, and what your relationship means to her. Once you do that, it becomes easy to see where the relationship is going, and if it can work. If it can't, make a clean break. You two might not work together, and that's okay. Don't compromise your friendship over it.
But I hope for the best for the both of you, and will be waiting to hear her reply, and yours.
Love and Vale, -LD

Ohh -huggles-
You're so amazing! That's what I'm going to do.
I'm going to wait to see if she calls me within the next few days, which she won't probably but you never know, and then e-mail her saying we should take a break to see where we stand on this.
She does have some growing up to do, she's in that teenager girl stage of bisexuality. You know, not the real bi, but the "oh im going to say it because im confused" bi? She has "I wish there were boys who did this and that" on her myspace and it's like
"Uh...you're dating me?"
So thank you so much, Leavaros!

Sure. I went through the exact same thing with my first boyfriend, so I'm just glad I can help.
