Well, today is when I had the anesthesia and had a camera shoved down my throat. After they woke me up the Dr. came in and was like "Your stomach was still full of food....when was the last time you ate?" and was looking at me all suspicious like because I wasn't supposed to eat past midnight. I told her the truth. I finished eating at 12:20 since I didn't get off work till 11:30 and still had to get home before I could eat. So she thinks now my biggest issue is that my stomach isn't emptying itself for some reason so she gave me a prescription for it. Dale says I'm gonna lose a lot of weight. I don't think so. But hey, maybe it'll make my reflux go away and I'll be happy with that.
As far as my throat hurting, it's not hurting from the endoscopy. It's been killing me for the past 2 days though because of a stupid head cold/ cough. I keep hacking things up from my lungs, my nose is stuffy and my ears have a ton of pressure in them. I'm gonna go take an Allegra and see if that helps any. It's driving me crazy! Speaking of driving...I can't drive for 24 hours cuz of the stupid anesthesia but ah well. Yay rambling.
At least that appointment is over with so I don't have to think about it anymore (though admittedly I more or less forgot about it until earlier this week. Ah well.).

Kind of weird. If you're having acid reflux, you'd think there'd be even more acid to digest food. But if the food in your tummy was still there, then apparantly not.
I hope things get better soon, seems you have quite a few things making your life less than fun.

Wobina:What's even weirder is that 10 minutes after I ate last night, I was hungry again, when obviously, none of it had left my stomach. That happens to me all the time. I eat and get full and then within an hour, I'm wanting to snack again.
Naito: Eeep! *hugs* Thankies. Really, I don't feel anything (except this damnable cold) so I'm fine.
Miquelet: That's what I was thinking too! I was figuring that's why I would get hungry again so soon, because it was getting broken down faster than normal. It's weird. I go back in three weeks (once I actually make the appt) so maybe she'll explain it to me.

I'm sorry, I was trying to not say anything, but I still think that this thread should have a youtube link somewhere in the first post every time I see it in the forum. 0_o

Kninja I'm sorry, I was trying to not say anything, but I still think that this thread should have a youtube link somewhere in the first post every time I see it in the forum. 0_o Lol, if I knew anything about youtube I'd try to find one for you. I never go there though so it'd probably take me forever.

ROFL, j/k. But I certainly hope that you feel better! ><; <3 *glomps* ^.^ I feel fine. I got a really nasty cold for about 4 or 5 days afterward but I'm cool now. Though I don't think the medication they gave me is working but ah well, I'll talk to the Dr. about it. *still hasn't made that appt.*

Myojin Omni Aww my dad had a similar thing. I'll leave it vague for that reason. But ya, aww, I'm sorry. You mean similar procedure or similar stomach problem? Not trying to pry, just not sure which you mean. Regardless, either was really bad for me. The biggest issue was the constant nausea but I think that was more allergy than my actual stomach because now that I have allergy meds, I don't get sick anymore (unless pollen or whatever is just really, really bad on a certain day).
