Well as you all saw just now in the announcement, they released more info for the battle system.
For a change, I am intrigued.
Now, I am usually one of the most stalwart and codgety oldbies you will find. Hell, I STILL don't use more than the basic pose. That should tell you something. I'm also known to use the phrase "whippersnapper" for anybody that joined in 06. The point that I am trying to make is that I am usually about as fervently against change as possible. However... this recent update has me intrigued. Not particularly enthusiastic, but for the first time I am interested to see where it will go.
Any of the crew wants to edit this post to contain more info from the update, go right ahead, I don't care.
Spork: Discuss the new thoughts of the battle system while I think of a better first post. XD

I don't like how they do the rings... but its kinda ok now... what depresses me is the lack of arm movement in the avatar.

Perhaps the model could be able to move its arms otherwise?

Indeed, I did take the fact that the model was L0cke and he is in a straight jacket. But perhaps they put him there because they weren't finished with the arm movement... well, I hope so.

The sword movement, otherwise, looks great. A lot better than that picture a couple of months ago with the boxing glove on a spring coming out of the avatars chest.

I'm interested in the item sets. I hope they will be based off of RPG style classes. The Ninja one looks nice, but so would a black mage, paladin, bard and dragoon set.
