Forest, that's spam. he asked for quotes from the book YOU are writing, not from a book someone else wrote!
-LD

ummm those are quotes from books that i wrote i wrote the 4 book series Twins of Destruction i ALSO wrote the book Fire, Water, Earth, and wind (i can never get the order right...hmmm have to talk to my co-writers and see to change the name) if you need proof i will have multiple emails sent to you from the people who read these stories when i finished writing them and those who wrote them with me.

SORRY, SPAM, please leave it though....

ok, forest, first, the order depends on which direction you want to start at...

South is fire, West water, North = Earth, and east = wind... as long as you move clockwise (like you did) you're fine, at least that's how I've always been taught...

second, and the reason I'm spamming rather than PMing you the info, you have links to your friend's pages (their avies) covering your contact bar, I can't add you as a friend, or PM/trade with you....you might want to change that, maybe not...

sorry for the spam...later all

Well, here's a few fun ones from Dark Magical Orchestra...

Lord Malgrave
“Milady, Narshe is anxious.” Malgrave whispered, “she wants to know if she can eat them now, or if you want an interview first.”

Cosette Garidion
“There is a reason we humans were not all given the great powers and responsibilities of magic. That monster was a creature born from Derrick’s own inordinate love. It was when he was willing to take another’s life for the sake of his own lust that it was born into the world.” Cosette clutched the glass tightly in her hand. “That monster found its way out in the window, but it had always lived inside his soul.”

Hylie Mignon
“Hm… you’re probably wondering what level I am, aren’t you? After two-thousand years of grinding battles alongside Master Knale, I’m level four-thousand six-hundred and seventy-three. And I’m already over seventy-five percent of the way to my next level.” She gave another proud chuckle.

I love the first one! So very Narshe.... And the third! So Hylie.... The second gave me chills. Have we seen that chapter yet?

That second quote is the last line in #17, "The Seeking Glass". I think I posted that last week.

Locke and Latch are a pair of Goblins employed as jailers in the dungeons beneath the castle of Queen Bloodrose. As the scene opens, the brothers are talking about the prisoner they are guarding--and why the castle is in such an uproar...

Latch: So that's him? The mortal that drove our beloved Queen to the brink of madness and despair?

Locke: Aye, dear brother. That is Sam Smith, the legendary hero.

Latch: You'd think that now she has him, the Queen would be happy...

Locke: ...but instead, the Queen is absolutely furious!

Latch: Indeed she is. I've never seen her so angry!

Locke: The Queen is in such a rage, half the servants in the castle are afraid she'll turn them into hermit crabs!

Latch: Better hermit crabs than dung beetles...

Locke: (shudders) Don't remind me.

Locke and Latch stare at the prisoner through the bars of his dungeon cell. At first glance, Sam Smith looks to be just an ordinary human: standing just over six feet in height, Sam appears to be about thirty years of age and is lean and athletic in build, with the tanned and weathered features of a man who has spent most of his life outdoors. His dark brown hair hangs to his shoulders while his handlebar mustache is thick but well trimmed; his brown eyes are intelligent but filled with sadness while his broad shoulders appear to bear the weight of the world, as though Sam was convicted felon waiting for the hangman to arrive.
In contrast to his medieval surroundings, Sam is wearing the clothes of an Old West gunslinger while on the other side of the bars his leather duster and gun belt hang on the wall just out of reach.

Locke: Excuse me, mortal--but why is the Queen so angry with you? And how did you end up in Faerie?

Sam: That my friend is a long story... and since I ain't got nothing but time, I might as well tell it.

It is my duty, I am Ocean-born"

She examined it. It had a smooth stem except for a single thorn. She found it to be razor sharp when she touched it.
He took the injured finger and kissed it.

Here's some from My untitled story; (*46 pages and still counting~! <3*)

Quote:
“Time to start trollin’ for em’.” She joked. “Go with the things you recall and scout for them. What do you remember?”

“Right brow piercings…” he said remembering the feeling of cold steel on the side of his face as they kissed. “Ear cuffs…” he closed is eyes trying to remember more detail. “Long, dark shoulder length lavender scented hair…”

“Dude…” She giggled, as she grabbed her side bag. “You’re so in love.”

“Shut up.” He said, still red in the face slightly, standing from the bed.

Quote:
“Hey, Hey~! Xa’k.” the blonde girl said.
“What?”
“Where’d you get that? What is it? A Hickey?” T’ryn chuckled as she reached out to touch it. “I doubt that’s a bruise.”
“What...?” He said dumbstruck. ‘That was real?’ - “Where?” He asked her, exposing his neck so she could get a better look.
“Right there.” She said poking the left side of his jugular.
“It is too a hickey!” Luscia squealed. “Who gave you that?”
“How the hell did you manage that one?” the blond boy inquired.
“Dude, I don’t know, I barely remember last night…” He said rubbing the side of his head for a second. “And what I do vaguely remember, I originally dismissed as a dream…”
“So what do you remember?” Demre asked.
“Well…”
(** Warning; Flashback contains some homosexual content; It's in white for those who rather not read;**)
Flashback:
“If you don’t like it, why don’t you quit?” Xa’kryn asked. “Do what you want to do.”
“If it was so easy, I would have done it long ago. I have obligations, Debts… I’m… afraid of what might happen….” The sound of soft crying could be heard close by in the darkness of the forest. “What I have now may be miserable… but I force myself to think “at least you’re depended on; your needed.” But it’s a shallow lie to hide the truth… I don’t want to be alone… I don’t want everyone else to hate me…”
“I don’t know… if it’s any comfort or not… but…” he sighed..” Words always fail me…“ The boy gave up with his words, and the only thing he seek’d to do was to easy the sorrow and pain emanating off of the person in front of him. He gently ran his hand across the side of the others face, brushing their hair line slightly back. The only thing he felt he could do at that moment, in a drunken stupor; was to close the gaps between their lips.

“Any Idea who it was…?” Demre asked.
“Still nothing…”

And.. here's another; Contains Homosexual content; Also in white; though... this is Female. <3
Quote:

The black haired girl, who currently had her hair down from her normal pig tails; felt the gaze of the others stare and smirk to herself as she rinse the soap out of her thick black locks; glancing over her shoulder to the girl across the room. A few minutes passed and the two glance at each other intermittently, when they think the other is not paying attention; obviously checking each other out.

The black haired girl turn, a seductive smirk on her face, as she watch the blonde girl across the room.

T’ryn’s face turn red as she catch the others gaze; being caught in those violet eyes, her stomach began to fill up with butterflies.

“See something you like?” the black haired girl ask finally, as she slowly turned the water off from behind her; standing very unashamed, half leaning against the back wall; her elbow rest lightly against one of the shelves, her hand lightly holding her chin, as she watch the blonde from a distance.

T’ryn quickly found herself fumbling with the faucet; turning off the water, her face probably turned five or six shades darker then it was before; and at a fairly fast pace, made her way to the change rooms; her heart beating rather rapidly in her chest.

The black haired girl followed her, grabbing her by the elbow; making her face her, and pinning her up against one of the nearby lockers which acted like a wall fairly close to the doors to the showers. She held the other girl by both wrists by now; in T’ryn’s moment of shock. Mana had that same lustful smirk on her face.
“Ohhh.” She somewhat chuckled. “It’s seems I was right on the mark with that one.”

“W-what’re you t-t-alking about?~” The blond stuttered, in denial and shock;

“Come on now;” She chuckled; leaning in closer to the other girl; chests together; Mana leaned in rather close to her face. “I don’t see you looking at any boys the way you look at me.” She smirked, as T’ryn was unable to say anything in reply, her eyes darted away momentarily, being pulled back into that stare by a light hand on her chin. “Admit it.” Mana said deep and lustfully. “You’ve got it bad…” the black haired girl leaned in for a kiss; when the sound of the doors opening and the sound of feet and chatting entered the room from behind the wall. T’ryn took this moment as her time to go; and quickly bolted to the other side of the locker as the other girls came around the corner; hopefully they didn’t see anything. T’ryn dressed as fast as she could; she just threw on her jeans and her sweater, not even bothering with underwear; she’d change in the bathroom with Lusc instead, and quickly head up to the second floor bathroom; where her best friend sat waiting.

and... finally...
Quote:

"Model?" Dem blushed a little bit as random possibilities floated through his mind. "What kind of model were you looking for?"
"Well, it depends on what she, and you, agree too. We could go anywhere with this idea really. School uniforms, Kimono's, the latest spring fashions, and dresses, Bikini's..."
"...Lingerie..."
Dem mumbled, but he covered his mouth, blushing, when he realized he had said that out loud.
"Let's not rule anything out. I'd be willing to do that if you both agree, though it's ultimately up to Luscia."
Dem seemed to be zone right out, a droopy smirk played upon his face, what he was thinking about was perfectly obvious.
"You're drooling."

Lol I know they're all crappy... hope that last one isn't too over 'PG'. >> if it is I'll white it out.

here's a few from my jedi fan fic. For those of you that have played Kotor, it will make more sense.

Mission Vao: Don't mind her, she's in one of her moods.
Revan: I heard that. (punches Mandalore in the arm for laughing) Shut up, Canderous.

Revan: Bastila Shan...Bassy Shan...Bassy s---!
(Carth starts laughing)

Mandalore: You never rest, do you? No sleep, no medpac, no caffa. A brush with death is all in a day's work for you.
Revan: Catching on, are we?

a couple from my war story

Scorch: Don’t swear.
Hawk: Why not?
Scorch: Because there’s so many other words to use, means you have a short vocabulary, and it means you’re a moron.
Hawk: (indignantly) Does not!
Scorch: Which are you protesting?
Hawk: Every one of them!
Scorch: (smiling) Then you’re wrong on all three counts. There are many other words to use, such as crap and trouble. By not using them, it means you have a short vocabulary. Since there are so many ways to expand your vocabulary, the only reason not to have a large vocabulary is because you’re stupid.

(the squad walks into a lively and drunken bar)
Scorch: Can I wait in the jeep?
Digger: We didn't come in a jeep, we came in a shuttle.
Scorch: Can I wait in the shuttle?

Enjoy!

Not technically a book, but what the hay, I don't think anyone cares. Right?
...
*crickets*
...
EXCELLENT.

------

Everything went very dark, then light, then a fleeting, shadowy grey. It was as though I had been flayed open and pinned down, like a bug under a curious child’s hand. I couldn’t move or breathe or think, only watch as images—memories—flickered behind my eyes. Stealing peppermints from the local five-and-dime, and crying as the shopkeeper made me turn out my pockets; choosing my new puppy out of a pile of yipping fur, tiny nails and teeth scratching my arms; Bobby Macdonald, giving me my first kiss behind the school gymnasium, smelling of sweat and pomade. He rifled through my memories as one might flip through an open book, picking and choosing as he pleased. I was helpless to stop him. My limbs began to shake but still he held me, digging deeper and deeper into my mind.

And then... it was over.

I stumbled back, breathing hard. I had no idea how much time had passed—the hallway was empty. My pulse pounded in my ears; I slid to the floor, back against the lockers, and started to cry.

When I next looked up, he was gone.

Super dramatic, I know. I understand if you need a moment. (I have no idea why everything I write is so depressing.)
