Joshua_Ritter Jaw the un You guys suck. I can't believe this. It's "Compuslive Liar with self esteem issues" versus "Hypocritical Megalomaniac with no pity for the lost" Like, Death match of the century, gaia gambit style. How old are you losers anyway? I mean, come on. Seriously. Take a lesson from the emperor of the united states. A man in california once declared himself emperor of the US. Instead of launching a war against him, The californians played along, and even printed money with his face on it. He didn't ever ask for anything but just a little respect, which was definitely given, since he had had the balls to do what he did, even if it was completely insane. He died alone, but not forgotten. Now, i'm new, so there are probably a lot of variables that i am unaware of, but.. The lesson is, This guy, sam, as far as i can tell, was a bit off center with his honesty. I've met lots of people like that. They suck if you take them seriously. If you play along and accept them, then they are just part of the gang. Everyone just has to remember not to believe anything they say, but still love and respect them anyway. Just like if you had a friend with turrets, or with some other psychological disorder, or some sort of mental retardation that screwed with their social ability. Anyway, I know i'm way out of line with this, but, well, i couldn't resist. This sucks. What the hell is wrong with you people. Either keep them both or kick them both out. One's just as bad as the other. He just isn't as socially incongruent as sam is. (interesting side note, i have a cousin named sam, and a cousin named josh. I also have a cousin named jacob who is mentally and physically retarded, but is extremely well liked by most people who know him.) EDIT Oh, and one last thing. You may have skimmed some of his posts (if that) and developed some opinions on him, but we've been forced to deal with him for much longer than you have. You're speaking on an issue you know little to nothing about, and you're already pointing fingers and making up crazy-a** titles. We tried "just dealing with him" already. For quite a while. It hasn't worked, and we've run out of patience. Like you said, you're new. So stay the hell out of it. I let you in on a favor, despite everything in me telling me not to. I already regret it. Thats good. We have to stop arguing amongst ourselves. No one'd want to join a guild like it is at the moment. They'd join, might read this thread, read the posts and leave.
Lets just agree we all have faults- we dont have to insult each other every few posts. I think after the Sam business is over we should delete this thread because it doesnt present a good image.

Everybody else is arguing over who's right, well y'know what? You're all wrong, I'm the one who's right, and I say everyone (including me) is wrong!
I keep seeing requests for this Proof stuff... Proof? You want proof? okay then, prove that this is reality, you don't need evidence for that, only an idea. If Sam did something on camera people would most likely claim that he's faking it, so for him to do that is almost pointless. I just realized something... stare It seems like most of the Sam Problems are either personal or just people who dislike his personality qualities... So I'd like to know who truly has a problem and who just doesn't like him on a personal note?... Is anyone here not mature enough, but just mentally capable of actually admitting what they PERSONALLY think of Sam, and not saying it's a public issue?... On my personal note; Sam is my god-damned friend, and I'm sick of all this bullshit. I can't get any clearer than that statement. Sam can be a p***k, hey, y'know what? so can I. I'm the type of person who loves to mess with people on MMORPG games online by killing people and stealing their s**t. I like to knock people off aim using aim bots. I once had my friend hack into someone's pc and replace their background image with pornography and then eventually delete their kernell.dll file. I'm sure those people think I'm an a*****e, just like you think sam is an a*****e for messing with you. Sam might claim to be this and that, and you want him to prove he is, well... I'm going to ask any of you to prove him wrong. Whether god is a ******** flying spaghetti monster or not is irrellavent, what Sam believes doesn't matter, what he teaches matters. Sam's teachings go right along with my kundalini book and the majority of all eastern energy practices. Y'know what else is derived from kundalini and ki, and chi, and all that other crap? huh? Anime. Sam flatout said that he learned all this crap from a DBZ site. Everything he taught me worked for me until I quit. So, what's wrong with his teachings? While typing this whole pissed off jumbled set of sentences and improper paragraphs, I realized most of the problems with Sam are completely personal and have nothing to do with what he teaches. Sam doesn't teach us that we're all vampires and otherkin, he teaches that he thinks that he is a vampire angel vampure otherkin thing that's also 3.141592653589793238462643383% vacuum. Screw it, just start reading here to get my point.People hate Sam, why? Because they don't like him. What is wrong with what he teaches? What he professes he used to get away with because he was a mod. If Sam were a member he wouldn't have the same power or influence. Whenever Sam got on he did what he was supposed to do, he checked the member join requests (which I do probably once every three or four months), he checked posts, he lurked, and every time he said "Angel" someone got uptight about it. Why doesn't anyone just say "Sam, I don't believe you" rather than wait until this s**t builds up to an eruption and turns into this where everyone hates him and I have to waste a ******** hour typing out a longass thing to try and convince you that you need to shut up and listen with time that I should have spent on frihost making sure the website doesn't get deleted. Sam isn't all bad, he's been my friend for a year now and I've had disagreements with him in the past and I've just flatout told him. When he had me convinced that there were angels that were god's slaves and all that other s**t, I told him that I was going to follow him to kill god and kill angels just so that I could kill the angels that remind me of him, because he has gotten me, ME, so angry at him. I'm fairly sure every problem me and Sam have had we've resolved. Is it possible to let Sam back as a simple member, and when people have a problem, we just tell him in a post? Point being:Sam is bad, Sam isn't bad. Josh isn't bad, Josh is bad. I'm bad, I'm not bad, You're not bad, you're bad. Joshua_Ritter Yami-no-Albedo Well... I know I'm not the most active poster in this guild (Lurker by nature), but I've read a lot of things by Sam on here, and frankly, I think he's got some serious problems. On several different occasions, I've seen him claim to be several different types of otherkin/vampire/whatever, flaunt his so-called "Radical energy manipulation", and basically make himself out to be some sort of amazingly powerful being. His so-called "1% human" s**t is ridiculous, and to me, it sounds like the template for a crappy anime character. I've read all kinds of things by him in the Kinetics subforum, and I can't vouch for the reliability of those claims (I'm not very skilled in even basic energy manipulation yet, so I still haven't tried them), but from reading everything I've seen of his, he seems like a real jackass. He doesn't seem to be concerned with teaching and helping others as he is with having people stroke his ego. Yeah... I think this is only like the second or third post I've made in this guild; I don't post on anything much. No fault of yours that you haven't seen me; chances are nobody else has, either.

In short, this is a response to LoBo. Quoting would be stupid, and page stretchy.
I'll still say I'm fine with bringing back Sam. I still stand by keeping him as a regular member, for that matter. I have no personal problems with him.
Though I will say that if y'all agreed I was a damaging influence, then I should probably just leave/be fazed-out.
If you want to, then just bring him back. In the conversation Josh and Sam had over messenger, I will say it all could have been handled better by both parties.
It wasn't...
So I say you bring him back if you really want to, but we should get rid of this thread.
There has been a lot of Sam bashing, and if he were to go over every post, I imagine it would only aggrivate the situation further. Get rid of this thread, and all threads pertaining to it. Make it so it is no longer a major point of conversation.
Consider adding into the rules a section on letting people know your exact opinions of what they say, but doing so in a respectful manner. So as to avoid a guild-wide explosion, when the opportune time arises.
