I read two or three books at a time sometimes. I'm glad I don't get them confused, though.

usually I don't read two books at one time, but if I do, one is a manga and one is a regular book. I like to focus on one at a time.

I usually read one at a time, but having said that I have about 4 books lying around that I'm halfway through. I get bored if the story starts to lag smile

I've often been reading 4 books at once. Now I only have one that is really on the go (college tragically robs you of reading time), but there are at least 3 that I've started in the last few months and put down - temporarily, of course!

i don't do it that often, and definitely not if it is a really good book, but sometimes i have too. like if i'm assigned a novel for english and i am already reading a book, i'll just read them both at the same time... the most books i have ever been reading at one time is 6- 3 for different class studies, 1 from a club, 1 that was a friend's i only read during one class a day, and 1 that was just mine... i think i did not get them all mixed up, but i'm not planning on going there again anytime soon whee

I happen to have a good memory at keeping the separate, and I end up reading 2-3 books at one time almost all the time.

It gets confusing....but, I like doing it to because I'll get confused about something....then page back and look again...helps to fix everything in my mind.

but reading 2 or more books at a time can be a great way to refresh your own imagination, giving you creazy and out-landish new ideas for your own writing. Also lets you realise what NOT to write, as to avoid trends.
[ps, WASSUP!?! I'm new here, drop me a line!]
