Tailos is, of course, human in origin and cannot transform into Magical Boy status due to low levels of midichlorians graphiticons within his blood. Born on Earth, he grew up in the finest of academies to training a new space squad, upon which he developed a knack for leadership and hence progressed to Captain.
Tailos has a certain love for videogames and an ongoing relationship with the coffee machinoid in the ship's cafeteria. He wields the Dirk of Endless Felines as a primary weapon against the Tobor vibrowansers, and can - with the help of Jasper Riddle and her protectobubble - turn into the fearsome Captain Katamari to defeat foes.
CORPORAL DYBAEL - aka "Dybael Athene Xyxzith Aladia-Draros Ossendir", because every time she comes back from the Astral Plane she insists she's discovered her "true soul name, for really real this time". Dybael was born on Earth but moved to Europa in early childhood. She attended the Vaguely Purple Institute for the Chronically Hippie, and dual-majored in Space Skillz and Hallocinogenics. Her amazing skills as a hippie grant her access to the incredible power called the Vibe (which is way too trippy to be a Force ripoff), but in exchange for this power she often goes into drug-induced comas, and occasionally has trouble getting her mind to operate back down on the normal planes.
CORPORAL RIDDLE - Oblivious to the inner workings of the military, Jasper has no idea how she gained the status of Corporal, although she suspects it had something to do with the fact that she is a high-level Magical Girl and was assigned to protect Captain Tailos, who in turn protects the Dirk, and so she protects the Dirk as well by default. Human in origin, Jasper discovered her Magical abilities early in life and mastered them quickly. She takes the (self-given) title of Star Princess seriously, guarding those to who she is assigned with a passion found only in shoujo manga.
LIEUTENANT SUMMERS - a.k.a. Kali, is a human of the planet of Earth. How she became a Magical Girl, she has only a theory. It has to do with her friends randomly poofing her places against her will with the Teleportation!FTW!Device-erator that is common in every home on Earth.
The frequent teleportations seem to have embued imbeud given Kali the powers of a Magical Girl as she once ended up in what she believed to be a radioactive spork factory. Since then, Kali has become Magical Girl Summers (but only call her Kali or she will ignore you) with her Giant Flying Holy Beating Spork of Doom and Teleportation Powers Of Infinite Poofing.
Kali has a habit of poofing out at random times. Also, she enjoys poking and hitting things with the GFHBSoD. Which includes the Soulbounty Deus Ex Machina Button. She tends to get mesmerized by the pretty colors of the dark-purple-and-bright-yellow-polka-dots alarm lights.
DOZERBOT - Model VIVII76; Unit Designation: Dozer
The Dozerbot was designed at first for planet renovation, several hundred years ago. They excelled at deploying on a planet, removing all life and/or terrain obstacles, and allowing for the newly shaped planet to be made into something better. Or a giant shopping mall. However, many of these units self-destructed as part of their final destruction, making the planets themselves largely useless, as they either fell apart or had a giant crater in them. The Dozerbot became a rare commodity after this phenomenon, and many were drafted into armies as a way of attacking home planets and ending wars in mere minutes.
This Dozerbot is the last model known to be in existance, and it was upgraded quite thoroughly before being released. It contains 125% of the destructive abilities of it's predecessor, but it has the ability to think and choose on it's own, based on how it calculates the odds. Also unlike other models, this one was not programmed simply to destroy, entirely the opposite, actually. Finally, it was given a second, more effective form, based on the profound ability found within some lifeforms to transform into something.

WHIM WHIMSSON - THE GREAT ANDRO-TOBORITARY EMPIREGENERAL DERELICT SUIENHEIMER VON NECROLUSTER - The current emperor of the Andro-Tobor, General Derelict Suienheimer von Necroluster is one of the most military-minded rulers of a race considered to be one of the most military-minded in the galaxy. On his off days, the General Derelict enjoys long walks on the bloodbeaches of Bleepblorp 111, and oil coladas. Sometimes he likes to get lost in the soulrain.
As a child the General Derelict was thoroughly pampered. He was given his first flagship at the age of two, and went to the most prestigious Andro-Tobor Academy for Fine Vibrowansery and Academic Studies. However, he was also resilient to his parentobors and as a result became incredibly violent. He began using his first few flagships to vaporize uninhabited star systems, and after he took the High Galctiseat of the Andro-Tobor, turned his sights to the more populated planets.
The General's flagship, the Crozuilus, is arguably one of the most threatening in the galaxy. It is both big and black with light nodules.
THE GRAND KOWATZITZ - Supposedly loyal servant of the General Derelict, the Grand Kowatitz is an Andro-Tobor with a singular purpose: destroy the Magical Girls. And the Magical Boys/Guyrls, too. It doesn't care what it has to do, it just wants them all dead. It's highly probable that there is some dark secret in the Kowatzitz' past that gives it such rage towards them, but all the Kowatzitz will do in response to that question is bludgeon you with its Prismatic Warhammer.
The Grand Kowatzitz' gender is a mystery, and it is frequently called 'she', 'he', and 'it', though it such trivial matters so rarely enter its computa-centres, that even it doesn't know; nor does it care, because its gender will not help it kill Magical Girls. Nothing is known about the Kowatzitz' life before it entered the General's service, but it does have a great fondness for impressionist artworks.
NAVIGATOR AXLESIUS - THE GUSTAVICHOCHNEUTRAL FACTIONSKITE DE DIABLO - Kite de Diablo once ripped off a famous quote along the lines of "Not even in Death can you escape me" from a video game and stuck with his nickname ever since. Why he responds to the name is unknown.
One day as a young child, the Pada bear mistook Kite for a girl and made the young boy mysteriously gain magical powers. Recently, Kite increased his abilities to the point of both partial and complete magical transformation, though not into the giant cool looking hero he wanted to look like. Rather, he looks more like a preadolescent boy with an interesting pink skirt. Kite is currently 17.
Even when not transformed, the magical guyrl likes to carry a magical stick/staff roughly equal to himself in height for various entertainment purposes. Aboard the Soulbounty, Kite is basically a typical boy from an alternate timespace that was thrown into this Dirk carrying universe with fairly specified knowledge about both universes. Sometimes Kite wants to be a chicken for a change.
LADY ROUFETTA DE ROUFEN - Roufetta is a magical girl. But that's an uber-secret-ninja-secret. It happened when her father tried to get her to probe the thoughts of a prominent and now dead magical person.
Roufetta's mother can read minds. Her grand-mother can read minds. Her great-grand-mother can "probe thoughts". So obviously, so can Roufetta. After her mother disappeared (in a freak mind-probe accident) Richard of Remorse, her father, decided he shouldn't let Roufetta's talent go to waste. He now brings her with him to business meetings and other important affairs to make sure he gets the best deal.
Roufetta hates that. So she decided it would be better just to let him flounder his way around business without his little darling.
LADY AKISHIO BELLAROSEBUD DERIVATION DE NANDEMONAI -
EX-CAPTAIN PAN - The historispace archives speak of a former Federation starship-captain, who was one of the first to encounter the Great Andro-Toboritary Empire, revealing to them the existence and location of the Vorpal Dirk of Eternal Felines in exchange for data on their biosystematics.
His treachery was quickly discovered by the Federation and he was due for neurosuffication on his starship the Somnambulist, but was able to escape in an unguarded zig retrofitted for hyperomatic depthspace transversifictation. Transversing the void of depthspace, he uncovered the secret to Magical Transformations, recellulating his humanoform into that of Magical Villian PanZuriel. It is further rumoured that his organimodules are enhancified by the Andro-Toboritary technology he acquired. This could account for his long lifespan.
Greatly skilled at wielding his Scourge of Absurdly Painful Torment +4, he harbours dreams of conquest and cannot be trusted by either side of the conflict. His current whereabouts and true abilities are as yet unknown.
SAMANTHA-ROSE 'Rosie' BAKER - Samantha-Rose was once a ship's cook who's ship was horribly destroyed in a freak gas leak incident (That she had NOTHING to do with! Honest!) Now she wanders about the universe on her small bakery ship luring people in with good smells and selling them the finest food and baked goods any baker could offer!
Samantha-Rose should never lose her temper... if she does, she becomes a magical girl that weilds a marble rolling pin of TOTAL DEVASTATION! That can bash in the head of anyone who crosses her!

NON-PLAYER CHARACTERSTHE HUMAN FEDERATIONSUPREME COMMANDER NEIL WILLIAMSON - The leader of the Human Federation. Neil Williamson began his career as a young cadet in the academy he later made famous, the Rolla School for Spaceflight and Rocketometry. As a young student he was noticed by a group of spaceforgers who were actually key members in the fledgling Human Federation. However, a large-scale interplanetary civil war began between Rolla I and their Jahovian enemies, and Williamson was swept into battle.
After lengthy radio silence, Williamson appeared once more as the hero of the infamous Battle of Worhalsignon, after he successfully overran a small force of French Jahovians. Afterward, he was quickly promoted to the commander of the Rolla Defense Force, at which point he was offered a lofty position in the Human Federation. After almost a decade of deliberation he was elected Supreme Commander of the Human Federation.
ARCHON DRIESTEL - The Archon Driestel is a major patron of the Human Federation. A weapons tychoon, the Archon began his career researching exactly how to intensify the shooping power of lazers. Once he had succeeded in creating the most lethal weapon in the world, the Archon claimed he meant it to be used in carving things and decided he would begin rewarding the Driestel Peace Prize for those who did not blow planets up with his new lazer technology.
Undaunted by his failure to bring peace to the galaxy coughbullshitcough, the Archon began work on a new and immensely powerful non-lazer weapon for use against the growing Andro-Tobor threat: the Soulcannon. THE GREAT ANDRO-TORBORITARY EMPIRECOMMODORE GRANPITULI DA HELIO - A replacement commodore for Glixfoliate der Snorkhenvaltzer, Commodore da Helio is arguably one of the most efficient and youthful commodores ever to hit the Andro-Toboritary Navy. Ractipated during the General Derelict's second assault on the Soulbounty, Commodore da Helio quickly took to controlling the Crozuilus, and as a result has a very difficult time dealing with the General Derelict's stints aboard the ship, in which he must yield control to the higher rank.
A staunch advocate for Magical Lifeform research in Andro-Toboritary life, the new commodore has been at odds with the Grand Kowatzitz since his entraflagration on the Crozuilus. As a result of his feelings on Magical Life, the Commodore admires the General Derelict's newfound Magical powers greatly, and hopes to use him for a darker agenda.
COMMODORE GLIXFOLIATE DER SNORKHENVALTZER - (killed by Prismatization) Before his death, Commodore Glixfoliate der Snorhenvaltzer was a relatively unhappy man. Although it is known that he was killed in an angry Prismatic strike by the Great Kowatzitz, most Andro-Tobor thought that the Commodore would commit shutdownicide very soon.
A lonely Tobor, the Commodore had no baby factory to call his own, and therefore no one to carry on his legacy. Despite his prestigious position in the Andro-Tobor military, he lived a rather poor life, with no e-currency besides what was little pay was given to him by the Andro-Tobor. Instead, he lived off the meager oil rations given to him by the United Torboritary Naval Fleet Association. In his spare time, the Commodore wrote and published many novels detailing his suffering. They have become both galactic bestsellers and evidence for the Human Federation of the abuses performed by the Great Andro-Toboritary Empire. THE JAHOVIAN COUNCILJAHOCLAVE THE MIGHTY - Jahoclave the Mighty is both the ruler of the Jahovians and the CEO of JahoKorp. Any product marked with his name is regarded with high respect among most citizens of the universe, and as such Jahoclave has gained universal recognition for his leadership abilities.
Jahoclave began his career as a young student on Rolla. However, an expert of history, he began to detest their foolish admiration of President Bush II and led a small student insurrection. These students, most of whom were incredibly furry, fled Rolla to establish finer learning academies on Jahovia. Their rebellion gained galactic publicity, and as a result, young liberals flocked to Jahovia for proper education. Thanks to Jahoclave's efforts, Jahovia remains a well-learned and affluent place. He is considered one of the greatest leaders in historispace, and has a 100% approval rating among his disenfranchised people.
RICHARD, LORD OF REMORSA - Lord Richard, Richard, Lord of Remorsa, Lord of Remorsa and it's neighboring Llamacheese mines, it doesn't matter to him. As long as he has Roufette to probe thoughts and his 700 llamacheese mines, he'll be fine.
(Llamacheese is a yellow metal that is extremely expensive to mine and therefore expensive to buy. It is good for violent weapons of bludgeoning.)
His latest endevor is to make friends with the crystal merchant de Nandemonai. His daughter is being wed to that important guy...Anyway, a deal with him would make millions. Richard likes millions. Almost as much as trillions and billions.
MR. DE NANDEMONAI - GUSTAVICHOHlol wat NEUTRAL FACTIONSIT - Largely unknown to most people, It is the God of Felines. It created the Vorpal Dirk of Eternal Felines as a weapon in order to protect Its fellow Gods. However, it is not the God of Big Felines, and therefore not responsible for the creation of the Shield of Forelions.
It was spawned immediately after the Big Bang, but the reason for Its origin is unknown; It does not like to tell Its story, nor does It want to. It finds telling any lesser lifeform stories to be a boring task. Usually, It is unseen by lifeforms without robotulated visaretinals, and therefore Its appearance is also unknown to most lifeforms. However, Andro-Tobors can see It when It wishes to be seen. It has the look of a purple turtlepoise with large tentacles.

Latkes is a strange phenomenon, possibly born from an experiment God was conducting when feeling trippy, but more likely born from a womb. He has the amazing ability to exist in his own reality--which, unfortunately, often tends to extend out into realspace when excited. Latkes's interpretations of events often lead to confusion among physicists and car mechanics, particularly on Sundays.
Latkes, though male, has the peculiar trait of turning into a Magical Girl. Sometimes he will turn into a Magical Girl and not tell anyone, mostly because he hasn't noticed himself. However, differing uses of pronouns and the appearance of a frying pan are sure signs.
Among other things, Latkes wears a boat. This is also his method of travel. Latkes travels a lot, searching for the ingredients that make the Smoothie of Absolute Awesomeness. He has picked up many strange items on his search, but only one strawberry.

SANDRA ARGENTIUM - at age fourteen is originaly for Shiverpeak, and it therefor almost always complaining about how hot it is, if not outloud then at least to herself. Ironicly she wears black as much as her currently very limeted wardrobe will allow, even dispite that it attracks the heat (it is unknown if she does this because she's unaware of the fact or if she likes the color too much to care).
She is the utterly cliche' orphan-girl, parents killed by Andro-Tobor when she was ten, had to take care of herself ever since, ect. Another cliche' is that she's bitter about it and will give an evil EVIL death glare (that really doesn't do anything but scare the living crud outta little kids) at anyone who mentions most anything family-related.
Sandra favors any knife/sword weapons of stab-to-deathing potential. From this most can agree she is mildly sadistic.
Claims her last name to be Argentium because it is one letter off from "argentum" which is the Latin word for silver, which she is attracted to. Also claims to have fought her way into a Tobor base and stole herself a ship to get off of Shiverpeak, but in reality simply stummbled across a zig carelessly left around, and decided, "Hey, why not?" and took it. (NOTE: Drives like a drunk teenager at a go-cart track.)
Speaks a a few words of Latin, and loves to cuss out people in it for chance they'll never understand her.
