I forgot this thread. I should post my Star Wars characters! You may notice the surfeit of ex-Jedi - these characters are from a time when the Order has been recently rebuilt, and is a bit volatile.
Maraz Vax is an ex-Jedi, and, more recently, an ex-Sith. He was exiled from the Jedi Order when a horribly traumatic experience shattered his sense of morality, triggering a violent fall to the Dark Side. He left the Sith because he felt their strictly regimented way of doing things restricted him, and hates them for that. He also left because the Sith beaurocracy denied him his desired title (Darth Cubus), and for that, he holds them in the highest contempt. Basically, he goes about the galaxy doing everything for his own gain or amusement, viewing other people (especially women) as his playthings and slaughtering or enslaving every Sith he meets. This hatred of the Sith brought him together with another ex-Jedi named Sorani Tillin, with whom he travelled for a while due to their shared goals (if not methods) and by whose hand he eventually died. It was an alliance of necessity, and nothing more, and Sorani killed Maraz in self-defense.
Sorani Tillin, like Maraz Vax, is an exiled Jedi, though her exile was for vastly different reasons. Sorani's exile was due to her emotional nature and her quick temper; though she never has killed in cold blood, she has made preliminary strikes against evildoers in order to protect would-be victims. While Sorani is undoubtedly Maraz's opposite since she possesses such qualities as kindness, selflessness, honor, honesty, and the ability to love, she also shows echoes of his temper at times and his dislike of authority. Eventually, she finds love in the form of another ex-Jedi named Tyus Fox, who confessed his love shortly before Sorani's final battle against Maraz. Sorani marries Tyus sometime after her return, and the two bear one child.
Tyus Fox left the Jedi order of his own free will, following his master. He shares much of his personality with Sorani, only he is a bit more patient. Until he told Sorani he loved her, Sorani did not know he was no longer a Jedi, and had thus kept her own developing feelings in check out of respect for the vows by which she believed him bound. Tyus isn't actually my character - he's the invention of one of Darth Iori's friends, whom I've never met - but it was decided by mutual agreement (through Iori as a proxy) that he and Sorani were perfect for each other, even though they were created completely independantly. Not long after realizing their love, Sorani and Tyus, by mutual consent, finally fully discarded their Jedi vows of chastity. Loctho Peylo, Sorani's childhood friend, overheard a few bits and botched the repair job she was working on in surprise.
Little secret - this particular Twi'lek kinda represents me. Loctho Peylo is a tech specialist (that's a hydrospanner she's holding) with the worst case of ADD ever documented in her species. She built a protocol droid numbered L3-47, who, due to Loctho being his maintainer, is totally neurotic and twitchy, and more that a little paranoid. Loctho has something of a dirty mind, and is best described as 'comic relief' in terms of her role on the ship. Despite her being easily distracted, she's quite good with what she does - though no other tech can ever figure out how what she builds works.
Janus Auldron was master to both Sorani and Maraz at different times in his life. He is a fallen Jedi, like Maraz, and instructed Maraz in the use of the Dark Side before Maraz left to officially join the Sith. Before his fall, however, Sorani had been his padawan - she was suitably shocked when she learned he had been corrupted. What Sorani doesn't know, however, is that Janus is in reality her father. He's also not human, though he looks it. His true species is unknown, but it is far longer-lived than the human race. Eventually, Janus is halfway-redeemed and becomes a Gray Jedi, and re-forges ties with his old student. It is not until after she is married that he tells her that she is his daughter.
There are more characters, but I haven't edited them yet! Note: Janus and Tyus weren't created by me - just fleshed out a bit.
