I believe it would be from Jenova hypothetically speaking simply because most video game and anime characters with silver hair often have unnatural abilities and strength, making them almost undefeatable and very powerful. Seeing as Jenova was sent from the heavens to destroy the world, because of the power within her, some of that power would have been transfered into him because technically Jenova is Sephiroth's mother along with Lucrecia and Hojo is the father. Combine all of their dna and genes into one, and you have a nearly indestructible child, the one who grew up to be the number one SOLDIER and eventually number one enemy of the world: Sephiroth.

I don't remember anything about Jenova being "sent" to the destroy the world. I thought she just did it because that was her nature. And, it's loads of fun whee

I'd say Sephiroth got silver hair from Jenova. He's the only character in the FF7 world with white hair. Jenova's hair was purple/silverish - weird colored hair is probably a trait of her species

Did you notice that Weiss had white hair? It goes with his name, which literally means 'white'. Connection here?

well anyway i think it mostly comes from jenova. i dont think anyone ever say her / him / he-She humanoid features so it could have had purple hair and pink eyes for all we know ( If they did show jenovas features i missed it )

Rees3 Rufus Shinra > All i seriously love the evil corporate thing. well anyway i think it mostly comes from jenova. i dont think anyone ever say her / him / he-She humanoid features so it could have had purple hair and pink eyes for all we know ( If they did show jenovas features i missed it ) they did say, she's the big pupley-blue thing in the tank behind the angel statue in the tank in the neibleheim reactor. she has a human head with silver hair, and weird mutant wings with eyeballs and random body parts everywhere. hojo and lucretia may have concieved him, but the majority of his appearance is Jenova and hojo's doing.

Hojo injected Lucretia and her baby with Jenova cells to make the ultimate SOLDIER. Unfortunatly though once he learned of the experiments he went crazy and wanted revenge on the world with Jenova by his side.
