i just went out with it and did. even though he now sorta has this other girl.
and he was like, wow. wow. i liked you recently too, but i didn't think you liked me.
we realized we have awful timing

I was in a situation like that.
We ended up sleeping together a couple of days after he broke up with the girl.
Yeah...maybe skip that part though. surprised
