i never got the hang of finale. or computers, for that matter......
most of my arranging is done by hand. or i just tell my bandmates what to play and they run with it. i wrote a salsa piece for my band that way called Grenada de Mana ("hand grenade").

EchoRunner i never got the hang of finale. or computers, for that matter...... most of my arranging is done by hand. or i just tell my bandmates what to play and they run with it. i wrote a salsa piece for my band that way called Grenada de Mana ("hand grenade"). "hand grenade" is a pretty kung-fu name! i like the sound to it, and it sounds even cooler in Spanish. i still do a lot of arranging by hand, too, because it's old-school and less confusing for me.
