I agree. How can your dad push you into surgery? Especially one that you don't know anything about! How can your weight be ruining their marriage? stare That's the lamest excuse I've ever heard. I hope you don't have to do this just because he's "making" you. I hope it's something you'll be happy with as well.

You know, as a social work student... that doesn't sound like a healthy environment. It sounds like they're not looking at anything other than the physical. There are several components to you that make you who you are and attractive.

If he is pushing you toward this because his new wife has some fat phobia, tell her to stuff it. She needs to worry about her own imperfect body and not yours.

Its kinda sad that I just remembered something I read on a journal a while ago: People that were going into WG diets, so they could get fat enough to go through surgery... I mean, is that lame or what? The doctors said they dont NEED it, but people will go to great lenghts... -_-
