soo i finished the new Wheel of time book today...

the book mostly follows egwene and her trials attempting to reunite the tower, which made for a pretty interesting read. she's not one of my favorite characters, but i do enjoy reading about the tower scandals. rand continues to go bonkers. but really really bonkers. whew.

elayne doesn't make any appearances in the book. there's maybe one chapter about perrin, and a few about mat.

so how did brian sanderson do? .... okay i guess. he's really nowhere near as good as RJ. i don't think he can really do the intricate plot lines and keep all the characters straight, but i suppose that's fair, i can't do it either.

but i still enjoyed the book. he does a good job trying to keep the characters personalities the same, although mat's not really as funny, and the way he tries to portray the little gender-battles that RJ used weren't as great to read.

please do so. and read post haste. i needs someone to discuss it with.
