Ariana nodded in response to Niraya suggesting that Lukas would be joining them soon. Blitz in the meantime, seemed rather blasé towards her societal status, which suited her just fine. Even though he wasn't quite cordial about meeting her, he was polite about it. He shared his teammate's opinion of Lukas' arrival. To their credit, both were right as, only a couple minutes later, Lukas did join them and introduced himself. When he addressed her, she shifted a little.

"Please, just Ariana. I've been called 'Miss, Madam, and numerous other variations of the term far too much in my life. Still, it's good to meet you all none the less. I apologize if the change in travel plans threw you guys off. I'll be honest, I do not think my father is exactly...comfortable...with me being on a team with boys. My last team was entirely female, but, well, I suppose you can not blame him too much. Youngest daughter who also happens to be disabled on a team and sharing living space with male students. And I'm fully aware I'm a bit on the smaller size for my age too. I'm sure it does not help his concerns any. But, he insisted on meeting my new team. And I suspect he used some influence or money to get the opportunity like this. I promise though, my Father is not a hostile person. He simply wants to meet you two in particular and get a feel for your character."
