spaceAfter a few more pleasantries and back-and-forths, the group of three was off to the main Atlas Academy grounds. They all made light conversation as they walked, talking more of their weapons and fighting styles, other fights they'd won and foes they conquered, and various other things. She mostly let the other two speak, though. Jasper walked in the back of the group, taking in the sights she hadn't gotten a chance to see they. The architecture of the city, the cleanliness of the streets and public order that seemed to be everywhere. She could only wonder where the darker corners of the city were, black markets or smugglers. Every city had them, some were just better at hiding, or were willing to hide it. Vacuo wasn't overrun with crime, the people governed themselves despite having an actual governments, but its hard to tell a group of people to change their deeply-rooted ways. Jasper mused to herself as they walked and didn't even notice when they approached the courtyard. Suddenly, it smacked her that they were there. They were on their campus, at their home for the following years, they were here.

spaceJasper looked up at the gates as they passed through them. She was thankful they were finally open! Her baggage had been delivered to the campus a few days ago and Jasper had been living out of her dufflebag with her aunt who still lived in the city. It would be nice to have her own space. She wasn't sure what the rooms would be like here, but she did know they were called "the barracks," so she assumed they weren't luxurious or anything. This was a military school, after all. Still, though, the thought of her own bed and not a couch older than time itself was a pleasant one. She followed the pair deeper in to the courtyard until they stopped at the large fountain decorating the open area. She gazed around the area, looking at all the paths leading out from the courtyard. It was like the central hub of the campus. There were a few students roaming around as well, some as amazing as Jasper felt and some bored with the same old things. She turned to Niraya and Blitz, an excited smile adoring her face.

space"Wow! This place is so huge! And so different from Shade Academy. Have you guys ever visited Shade? I bet it doesn't even hold a flame to your combat school. This is really something else." Jasper spun around and looked at everything once again, her arms extended out to amplify how big she found everything to be, "Its amazing. Even for how simple it is, its really grand. The minimalism makes this place look even bigger. If I remember my entrance letter correctly, orientation isn't held until this evening. No one else seems to be in a rush so I don't think its anytime soon." She put a finger to her chin and thought for a moment, watching the few students walking around. Most of them were in their uniforms and it made Jasper feel out of place in her pink getup, but then she started noticing more and more students wearing street clothes as well. She took out her scroll to read through the entrance letter again, "It says we should be getting our uniforms tonight, after the commencement speeches. Well that's a relief because I never remembered even getting one!"

spaceJasper looked at Blitz as he answered, slightly confused but also understanding of what he said. Everyone had a reason for fighting. If his was looking for someone, then he was looking for someone, Jasper tried not to judge. The last bit though, brought a pout out of Jasper. She balled her fists against her hips and tilted her head to the side, leaning slightly towards him, "Well, that's just not nice." She crossed her arms and wrinkled her nose at him, turning back to Niraya to hear her answer. What she saw, though, was something she didn't expect. The white haired girl was staring at the ground as if she was upset by something. Jasper rushed over to her and squatted in front of Niraya sitting at the fountain, reaching out gingerly to touch the other girl's shoulders.

space"A-ah, I'm sorry! Was it something I said?"
