That is to say, she is able to manipulate the compacted mass her body has. This allows her to affect how heavy she is and how solid her body is in terms of absorbing shock. She can manage doubling her body’s density and can maintain it for a short time in exchange for the inability to move well for the time frame, or go up to four times density for a second or two to take or deliver a heavier hit. Overuse can damage her body. ❖ Sienna: Kinetic Deflection - In most cases, an attack against her will literally bounce off, though, it isn't as perfect as it might seem. If a blow is strong enough to ground her without the deflection, the barrier around her will fail and she'll still take a hit, though, not as strong as it would have been. In addition, each hit would force her barrier to reform. It will do so fast, but, any hit that would land in the two to three second interval between her barrier falling and restoring will hurt her as normal. The longer a fight draws on, the weaker the barrier will become. It isn't consciously activated, but just simply happens when she's in danger, even if she herself isn't aware of the danger.

Personality: ❖ Amber: The elder of the twins. She's headstrong and bold, a bit crass and blunt, but she's reliable and cares for those around her. She's especially protective of her younger twin and can become hot-headed where Sienna is involved. She's a tomboy, through and through, she can even be forgetful of the differences between her and boys, though, even when she doesn't she does not seem to care all that much. She does have a softer and caring side, though, it will mostly show to others in her interactions with Sakura. She enjoys teasing others and the occasional rank, but, she's aware of when things go too far and when to be serious. ❖ Sienna: The younger of the twins is a bit more sociable than her sister, but can become a tad shy fairly easily. She has a more nurturing and caring personality than Amber. She isn't as bold, but she won't hide when her team needs her either. Quick to smile, and quicker to blush, she's an adorable girl who has no issues making friends.
History: ❖ The twins never really had it easy, growing up in a small settlement in the deserts of Vacuo. When they were five, the settlement was overrun by Bandits, Grimm close behind them. Their parents, Huntsmen died in the defense of the settlement, but, not before sending the girls running. By some miracle, they escaped, though, soon became lost. For ten years, the twins somehow survived the deserts with no one to look after them, scavenging what they could find and quickly learning the habits and natures of the creatures and scarce plant life in the unforgiving environment. Amber, the older of the two, quickly became accustomed to providing for her sister and defending them. Only in the past couple of years did they manage to return to civilization, though, they wound up travelling further north than they ever intended. Upon arriving in Vale, they found it far easier to survive and soon drew the attention of a faculty member at Beacon as they displayed a more advanced level of skill in dealing with some punks when they were assaulted and the utilization of their semblances. With a few words, some aid, and recommendations, they found their way on the path to becoming Huntresses.
Other: ❖ While they have spent years in isolation, they did get to a point where they could read and write through homeschooling while their village was still intact. And, within the couple of years they spent in civilization, they quickly learned to speak relatively on par with others around their age through necessity and self-imposed education in their free time.

Semblance: Awareness Ariana does not need to look at her opponents to see them. She has total awareness of her surroundings up to thirty feet in a three hundred and sixty degree field around her. It is a passive semblance. Dense clustering of obstacles and uneven slopes or transitioning terrain are still difficult for her to work with though.
Strengths: ✔ Advanced Training ✔ Heightened Senses - Her blindness resulted in her sense of hearing and smell being heightened, meaning she can pick out information others might miss by sound or smell. ✔ Vulnerability - Many sentient opponents often underestimate her because she’s blind. ✔ Situational Awareness - Her Semblance while it may not give her any details about those around her, effectively gives her a three hundred and sixty degree field of awareness, making it nearly impossible to sneak up on her when her opponent is in physical range. ✔ She can fight as effectively in pitch black as she can in bright light.
Weaknesses: ✘ She’s blind and her semblance does not show detail to her. This means transitioning from terrain to terrain is sudden to her and she can’t determine where it will go without other input, say, if she hears someone splashing around in water ahead of her. She also has issue with uneven terrain and densely clustered obstacles. She can sense someone behind a bush, but, maybe not through three. ✘ Heightened Senses - Her blindness resulted in her sense of hearing and smell being heightened and are ultimately more sensitive to stimulation from high-pitched or loud sounds or strong odors. ✘ Small Size

Personality: ❖ Ariana is a strong and determined girl, always ready to prove she isn’t some porcelain doll to be kept hidden away. Confident in her skills and collected in the spotlight, she eagerly proves herself the equal in ability, if not the better, to those around her. She can’t tolerate persecution without cause though and can be hard-headed when dealing with those who would demean others for the sake of doing so. Rational though, she doesn’t hop straight to being an attack dog and prefers learning the situation before taking action. When it comes to her romantic side though, she is fairly subdued and can be easy to fluster with just a cutesy comment here or there.
History: ❖ Youngest daughter of Jett Sterling, of Sterling Enterprises, an up and coming giant of weapon tech development and manufacturing, she was an easy target for the spotlight, even moreso when it was learned that she was born blind. Her family were from a long line of Huntsmen and Huntresses, a tradition her father felt all his children should follow in. Starting at age three, he ensured that Ariana had specialised training to compensate for her inability to see and pressed her hard, encouraging her that she was perfectly capable, even moreso when her semblance was revealed when she turned five. With this training and the controversy of her father pressing his disabled daughter into fighting, her personal fame began to grow.
By eight, her father started enrolling her in martial arts fighting tournaments. It was difficult at first as she always found her opponents hesitant to strike at her. Because of this, she started to develop a habit of acting cocky to incite her opponents to attack her. Gradually, she started winning matches here and there, and gaining acceptance as a skilled fighter. But, still, she faced opponents who would hesitate to strike at her. By twelve, she became Regional Champion and at thirteen, she surprised the world as she made it into the interkingdom bracketed Junior finals and made it up to the third round before finally losing. Her rise was fairly quick, a shock for any normal tournament fighter, but, for someone who was blind, the public ate it up and promoters did as well. Soon, she was getting sponsorship deals and her father was raking in investments from her success.
Satisfied with her progress and ability, her father decided she was more than ready to join a Huntsman Academy and contacted Atlas to arrange to enlist her a full year early while he had a weapon developed for her. Now, at sixteen, she is on her way to becoming a Huntress and possibly make some friends.

Personality: ❖ Auburn is a very straightforward and strong-willed girl. She will not tolerate any form of ‘intolerable behavior’ and isn’t afraid to step in. While she’d prefer to settle things amicably, she has no objections to using her fists to settle something. Down-to-earth and active, she can be very easy to get along with, but her temper can be fierce if you get on her bad side.

Auburn has a...complicated past. The first significant point to know is that, Auburn is not her given name. She doesn’t even remember what it is. When she was very young, too young to remember, her parents were protesting the relevantly new militant regime within the White Fang. Those in charge labeled them traitors and murdered them in cold blood. At only two or three, she was taken in by the White Fang to be ‘Educated’ in how the Faunus should be the dominant species and that Humans were little more than slaves to them. But, she was blessed with a kind heart.
Over the years, it became more and more obvious that the lessons didn’t seem to stick to her, and so, she was forced to fight Humans the White Fang had captured. And a match wouldn’t be called until there was a death. Her first kill was at only six years old. As the years wore on, she continued to protest the violence, and continued to be tossed into death matches in the hope of desensitizing her. And for every hesitation or instance of ‘traitorous speech’, she was flogged or lashed mercilessly. By ten years of age, it became apparent that she had a gift for fighting. A gift beyond that of her experiences in the matches. Her semblance was active and she rapidly grew in strength and resilience. She was a weapon.
Not long after this discovery, they began keeping her in shackles, beating her without reason, and tossing her into matches more and more frequently, or against more and more opponents. Finally, at age sixteen, she’d been able to incapacitate her guards on the way to the ‘pit’ and took their weapons while freeing herself. Fortunately, one of them was quite large, so, she took his uniform and mask and made her escape. It wasn’t until she reached the outer wall of the base that anything was discovered and she managed to fight her way through the rest of it. Once outside, she ran. She had no clue where she was, but she simply ran until she collapsed. When she woke, she was in a bed, being treated by a huntswoman who found her. After a lengthy conversation where Auburn relayed her experiences, the huntswoman suggested becoming a Huntress and pointed her in the direction of Vale. She kept using the basic sword she took from the White Fang member, but, during her first year at Beacon, she went about crafting her own dust-capable equipment to supplement it.
