FFA Championship Titles and Histories

Championships in FFA usually are attached to tournaments or special match types or stipulations. In addition to this, the FFA World Champion can optionally opt for his title to be defended in tag team matches or naming a proxy-champion to defend in his place. This rule is in place to prevent vacated titles as much as possible, and also to create "war-like" scenarios among factions.

FFA Infernoweight Championship
Proto

The Infernoweight Championship is the second oldest championship in FFA, and arguably the most prestigeous. The inaugural champion, Josh Madwall, was crowned the champion in the inagural FFA Inferno match. This match was in 2007. He is the only champion and has been champion for more than 4,222 days. This is largely due to the dirty nature of Josh, as well as the stipulation attached to the belt. The Infernoweight Champion has the right to invoke "Trial By Fire" during any match he is defending the championship.
If he does this, then along with the match's usual rules, lighting your opponent on fire also becomes a viable way of winning the match. Josh has made liberal use of this Champion's Advantage to win Ladder Matches and Submission matches, where he would normally be at a disadvantage. Fans hated Josh and strived for a day when he is finally unseated as champion. Josh's reign finally came to an end at the hands of Domino Ando in 2018.
In the interest of saving space, only 2017 results will be tallied on this history page.

-Proto defeated Orichaldor at Cataclysm 2018 to retain the championship after invoking Trial By Fire
-Proto defeated Domino Ando at Total Devotion 2018 to win the championship for the first time.

FFA Co-Op Championships
NVIUS

The FFA Co-Op titles are historical titles, dating back to 2007. However,
the Co-Op division in FFA has been defined for years by the Bloody Stampede, the 7 time champions. Most of the people to unseat the Bloody Stampede have been one-and-done champions, merely placeholders that punctuate the Bloody Stampede's reigns. The FFA Co-Op titles are usually wrestled under Tornado Rules, and, as usual in FFA, the Freebird Rule is always in effect.

-NVIUS defeated The Monitor and Tanuki at Cataclysm 2018 to win the championships for the first time.

FFA Bloody Key Championship
Jonathan Leves

Formerly the Platinum Championship, the Key Championship was renamed after a short year of existence. Taking the idea of renaming the title with each champion and running with it, Kurast the Eliminator was awarded with a new belt and a new presige. The championship's name changes with every title holder, with a locked front plate that hides the current champion's name and title. Challengers earn keys to this lock and attempt to defeat the champion. If they do, they can use their key to open the lock and replace the former champion's name plate with their own, thus changing the name of the title so that each wrestler who holds it has a unique stamp. When a challenger is defeated by the champion, the champion get to keep the key. The first six lock into the side plates while excess hang from a bar on the front of the title, a la the Dragon Gate Open the Dream Gate Championship, representing the number of challengers the champion has managed to defeat.

FFA Outlaw Championship
Vacant

A new championship introduced to FFA for a new conceptual division of wrestling called "dueling." The champion must accept any 1 on 1 challenge made to him, but if the challenger fails to capture the championship, then they are considered "dead" in terms of championship contention, and can never again challenge for the Outlaw Championship as long as the champion continues to hold it. On top of this, each victory by the champion affixes them with an ever growing bounty, a monetary bonus to whichever wrestlers is finally successful in defeating the champion. Matches are no disqualification rules, and there are no championship rematches.

The Lord of the Ring

The Lord of the Ring Tournament is a single-elimination tournament of varying size. The winner of the tournament receives the right to name his match at the next major event, which has historically been Total Devotion,
although this has not always been the case depending on when the tournament is held. The FFA World Champion's participation is allowed but optional for them.

The Championship Soul

A round-robin tournament between 20 FFA competitors, separated into two blocks. Each competitor faces each other competitor in their block once and earns points for every victory, with the wrestler with the most points in each block facing each other one on one for a future World Championship match. The tournament is held on alternating nights, with every other night dedicated to a specific block. The inaugural tournament was held in 2018, and introduced the idea of tag matches on off-nights where the competitors spend the entire tournament mentoring a younger wrestler who is not a competitor in the tournament, although this was not required of all competitors.

Although the FFA Champion can participate in the tournament optionally, they are not beholden to. If they won the tournament, it is assumed their prize would be to name their next challenger.

Champions who compete in the tournament find themselves exposed after the tournament, as any losses they suffered may justify contendership for the competitors who beat them.

The winner of the tournament gets a World Chanpionship Match at a time of their choosing, with some rules. The winner must provide the champion at least a day’s advanced notice, and the match must take place at a televised event. No money in the bank shenanigans. The only other rule is the winner must use his opportunity before another Championship Soul winner is proclaimed, so they have one year to use their shot.

Championship Soul 2018
A Block Finalist: Kelsey Warden
B Block Finalist: Nate Navarro
Winner: Nate Navarro
Championship Match Result: Nate Navarro def. Serenno for the FFA World Championship

The FFA Match

The most prestigious and exciting match every year in FFA. The Free For All Match, like it's namesake company, is a totally unpredictable spectacle where wrestlers legends are created and die all at once. Every wrestler worth something in FFA has had their career truly begin as a result of an event during an FFA match, and that doesn't necessarily have to be a victory. Below are the winners of the FFA Matches, as well as other notable events by FFA Match.
(WIP)

FFA
Mike Landry Won the FFA Title
-Match consisted of only seven people. Only six were announced. Mike appeared at the end of the match and stole the win.

FFA II
Mike Landry Won the FFA Title

FFA III
Mike Landry won the FFA Title

FFA IV
Kelsey won the FFA Title
-Kelsey became the first, and so far only, female champion and FFA winner.

FFA V
The Monitor won the FFA Title
-The Monitor accidentally eliminated his mentor, Mike Landry, on his way to this victory. This would spark a feud that would define both men's career.
-The aforementioned feud is the entire reason the FFA Championship began to be defended as a regular title rather than only a tournament reward.

FFA VI
Marx won the FFA Title

FFA VII
Sephiroth "won" the FFA Title
-The final two wrestlers this year were Sephiroth and J-Money. J-Money forced Sephiroth to submit to a modified STF at the same time as a referee counting a pinfall on J-Money in Seph's favor. The controversy led to Seph being declared the winner offically, but there are many who believe that J-Money was the rightful champion that night.

FFA VIII
Grif won the FFA title
-This marked the beginning of the longest reign of any FFA Champion. (Mike Landry's three reigns are not counted by days, only by the individual wins of the title.)

FFA IX
Grif retained the FFA Title
-Grif became only the second man in history to win consecutive FFA Matches and the only man to retain the title in the match since it became a non-tournament title.

FFA X
Delta won the FFA Title

FFA XI
Seita Gray won the FFA Title

FFA XII
Railery won the title, last eliminating Nate Navarro
-Railery became the youngest FFA Champion in history.

Factions & Tag Teams

Like NJPW, FFA wrestlers often segregate into one of many larger groups of stables and factions, while tag teams are born out of those factions as sub-groups and sub-tags.

Factions

The Other Side
Members: Serrick Rowe, Ashalar, Lichador, Curio, Zerotonin, Myles Shaw
A cult of death and macabre that "worships" Seita Gray, whether he likes it or not. Currently in the control of Serrick Rowe for his own dastardly deeds.
Affiliated Tag Teams: Lichador and Zerotonin
Theme: "The Other Side" by Alter Bridge

House Landry
Members: Mike Landry, Matthias Landry, Matt. T, Jeff C.
Affiliated Tag Teams: The Hardly Boys, Mike and Matthias Landry

Infinite Solutions
Members: Infinity, Mimi, Merci, Serenno, Jada, Akiren
A more professional stable for a more civilized age, Infinity brings together some of the best and well paid wrestlers in FFA as an Ace corporation. Infinity uses his money to make sure the team has the best gear, and even created a tag team from scratch and ref-bot technology.
Affiliated Tag Team: NVIUS (profile here)

The House of the Rising Sun
Members: Marx, Raj Delrey, Dodge, Myles Shaw
This was a faction that existed on the independents, not in FFA, but fans often group them together loosely because of this.
Tag Team Finisher (Marx and Dodge): Stereo or Double Superkick
Tag Team Finisher (Marx and Dodge): Cerebrum Celebration - Dodge pulls enemy off Marx's fireman's carry into a DDT
Tag Team Finisher (Marx and Raj): Lobotomy - Marx superkicks enemy while Raj Knee's back of enemy's head
Theme: "House of the Rising Sun" - Five Finger Death Punch

The J-Money Mob aka The Money Sink aka The Mob
Members: J-Money, Crestwood, Revy Starrow, Zero, Sobek
An unruly mob like faction, as opposed to the alternative crime-related meaning of the word Mob, led by J-Money. They mostly fight for his benefit, but to J-Money's credit, he does show fairness in helping the other members get what they want as often as he can.
Affiliated Tag Teams: Crestwood and Revy
Theme: "The Almighty Dollar" - Ozzy Osbourne

Future Perfect
Members: Kelsey Warden, Grif, Kelly King 2.0, Tallah, Orca, Mera McLane
A faction started by Kelsey Warden to secure her legacy in FFA. Bringing in 2.0 and Grif, she convinced them both to pick wrestlers to mentor and set up as the future of FFA, a future that they are losing their grasp on as veterans. Any FFA Veteran can join the faction, as long as they have a student to join with them
Affiliated Tag Teams: All mentor and student pairings
Theme: "Take Over" - Jeremy McKinnon

Mask Force Δ
Members: Delta, SOLDADO, Misthios, Legato del Vacio
Delta's insidious faction of masked wrestlers, dangerous soldiers, and guns for hire. While he is not incapable of being bought himself, the faction is primarily to progress Delta's own goals of being on top of FFA, not with the FFA Championship, but with ALL the FFA Championships.
Affiliated Tag Team: Soldiers of Fortune 𝛀 (Misthios and SOLDADO)
Theme: "The Triumph of King Freak" - Rob Zombie

Crimson Panic
Members: Jonathan Leves, Sybil Cruz, Tybolt Brumlow, Kayla King
Bio: Jonathan's new creepy vampire guild of murderers and thieves, headed mostly by himself and the silent terror Tybolt, Kayla King's new boyfriend and protector.
Afiliated Tag Team: Crimson Panic (Tybolt and Kayla)

(Inactive) The Other Guys
Members: James Caputo and Scope, various others and jobbers
Faction focused on jobbers and lower card wrestlers. Many new FFA wrestlers are members of this faction at some point as they learn the company and business. Potential new members include Crestwood and Domino
Sub-tags: The Other Guys (James and his partners)
Scope and Tess (retired)
Theme: "One Angry Dwarf (and 200 Solemn Faces)" - Ben Folds Five

(Inactive) The Pod
Members: Kurast, Josh Madwall, Ambrosio
Also known as "The Pack", a faction focused on their group's loyalty to one another, even when divided by alignments. Capable of warring with each other, they always back each other when against other wrestlers. Former members include Katie and Kelly King 2.0.
Sub-tags: Kurast and Ambrosio

(Inactive) The House Our Father Built
Members: Kelly King 2.0, Serenno, Railery, Kayla
Faction focused on the King family dynasty.
Tag Team Finisher (Reno and Railery): No Bastion - Reno holds enemy up for backsuplex and hits a back suplex rock bottom while Railery jumps off the top rope and stomps on enemy's face, riding them all the way down to the mat
Theme: "The House That Jack Built" - Metallica

Tag Teams
These are various tag teams FFA, both faction affiliated and lone tags. Also noted are any tag team finishers or entrance music if any.

Tatakai - Dalton Act and Tesara Saito
