Who is this guy?Okay, here's the basics: I'm pretty much always up for RP, so even if I'm self-detonating or otherwise MIA, please hit me up. I promise I don't bite even though I've been told I type like someone who does. I will flip my s**t in the best kind of way (I am belatedly questioning this turn of phrase) if you approach me for RP. I will seriously be that excited. So, in the wise words of Shia LaBeouf and Emperor Palpatine:

Some notes about my RP style:
A typical post from me consists of anywhere from 50 to 500 words. Honestly depends on who and what I'm working with. I don't write 1k+ posts anymore. Sorry!
I can take a long time responding. Feel free to poke me in case I forget! Otherwise, I love to do speed RPs over Discord.
BOY, DO I LIKE CONFLICT. It's the main reason so many of my characters are awful, awful people: easy conflict. I get restless RPing happy, peachy slice-of-life scenarios so be prepared to have an objective.
Not surprisingly, I also really like writing fight scenes. Hit me up if you're interested, so we can establish some ground rules so that everyone is comfortable.
Spontaneity is my game. I like to think I can predict my characters pretty well, but then they surprise me by running out of the house buck naked and rioting. I don't like to discourage RP but if you don't appreciate curveballs, you might want to pass me. (I will not however create a situation that directly contradicts a plot. I'm not an a*****e; just inconsistent).
I don't pre-plot relationships. If I do, every one of them is doomed to fail as my characters are contrary as hell. That said, if you feel an existing character relationship might be moving in a new direction and want to pursue it, feel free to talk about it! I'm happy to work towards goals; I just can't guarantee any results.
On that note: I love failed relationships. I love friendships gone sour, unrequited love, puppy dog crushes, and nasty break-ups. If my character crushes on yours, please never feel obliged to have yours crush back. It's a way for me to experiment with personal character growth, so if you have a planned romance with someone else, worry not! I'm not trying to butt-in! Of course, if you're interested in a relationship, we can go ahead and play that up too.
I have plot ideas listed under each character, but if you have another idea that's not listed, feel free to pitch it! Those are just there to get the brain juices going.
Active means a character is available for RP, and inactive means just the opposite. Anything tagged in red with the word "FOCUS" means I'm really thirsting for RP with that particular character and am probably pushing towards growth.

- As a fan of death metal, punk, and grunge, Barb is interested in starting or joining a band. She is not the most musically inclined, but since when did that matter?
