Will exited her dorm after preparing for the day and walked down the halls, a chickadee was perched on her shoulder chirping happily as her cane was tapping an unknown beat into the ground in front of her. She was setting a brisk pace to her first class of the day, European Literature. She wanted to get set up and prepared before the students arrived.
She had spent yesterday going over her assignments for the week in her classes, making sure that all of it would fit into the correct schedule and challenge the students without being too difficult for their grade levels. This of course, meant that she missed out on the Meet and Greet event yesterday, but really, she didn't care too much for crowded areas as is.Even with her birds they can get a bit overwhelming, and Will certainly did not feel like getting pushed around and asked about her eyes by multiple people. No, it was definitely better to just get straight to work and skip the whole situation completely.
As Will entered into the east wing, she tilted her head to the bird on her shoulder, listening as it peeped at her. She strutted over to the correct door, pulling out her keys as she went, unlocking the door and turning on the lights. the first thing she did after this was walk over to the window closest to her desk and open it a bit to let in the breeze... and a few other things. Brian would have to leave shortly as he needed to go and fetch worms for the Missus and his chicks. Camilla a local canary would be relieving him shortly, and that didn't mention any of the other birds that would be in and out of the class with either information or out of sheer boredom.
She pulled out her chair, starting up the computer and took a seat at her desk, she proceeded to pull out her attendance list, her students would be arriving any time now for their class. As she heard chairs scrapping against the floor, she tilted her head up to face the class. "Welcome to European Literature, I will now take attendance. Please respond when I call out your name, and we will get started." Will started reading out student names and taking notes as they arrived.
