After an enjoyable walk from Willow dorm to the North Wing, Matheo arrived at his classroom and unlocked the door. When he went inside, leaving the door open and turned on the lights. He then walked over to the podium, pulled out the class roster and his notes for the class from his bag then placed them on top of the podium. He took a moment to look at his watch to see the time. It was 9:30am, class would start soon.

Matheo wrote his name and class title on the backboard and then sat on the small stool behind to podium. He took out the book he was reading the night before from his bag and read a few pages while he waited for his students. He was reading a rather dull part when he heard the sounds of students coming into the classroom. He smiled softly at a few that looked his way and set his book down. He waited until what he assumed was his whole class was seated, to begin talking. "Hello and welcome to Journalism. I will be your teacher this year, I hope we can all get along. My name is Matheo Grimaldi, you may call me Mr. Grimaldi or Mr. G. So let's start off with roll call. When you hear your name please say 'Here' and raise your hand, so I can put a name to a face. Now let's see..."

Joel Rolando, a free spirited collegiate student, sauntered down the hall with a hardcover back book, Red Chief, on one hand and a cup of coffee on the other. Every now and then, checking above the book then back to the passage to assure himself he was heading the right way and also to avoid bumping into someone . Each step he took, the sun's light would shine above him through the clear glass, providing him what seem to be the warmth of a new day, a new start of life. "Hopefully I didn't come to early..." A voice let out a sound what came to be a stunned whisper, noticing the time according to his watch that his mother gave him. It wasn't soon until Joel eventually entered the classroom. He moved on pass the crowd and took a seat in the back.

The dull, white, porcelain exterior of a plastic cup felt temperate within the bulk of Joel's hands. The scent of roasted beans and sweet caramel hung heavy, infiltrating the refined of his nostrils there he sat, and subconsciously admired the outside world from the small interior of the class. Once the teacher called his name of his presence, Joel in response raised his hand indicating he was here. It was a pleasant day. As the clouds huddle up in the morning like cows coming for a drink, the sun dropped in blood streak splendour like a public execution. The sun was intense, bright, and overwhelming. No doubt it would become yet another humid day. A warm, obnoxiously sweaty day. The mere thought of the later brought his brows to furrow and a sigh to escape the sultry of his lips. While sweat had never truly been an issue- such in itself did not immediately indicate that no one else would struggle with the matter concerning bodily odors, and he for one, felt not too certain whether or not he was ready to deal with the moist, stinking bodies of people today in class.

Waiting for a couple more students to arrived, his vision suddenly was blinded within the bliss outside through the window. The bright light of day cascaded in hampered waves from the splashing water of a fountain nearby, abated by the brightness of the sun and its ever-shifting reflection in the glistening waters lying there. The sound of waves and icy wind was audible even over the cacophony of thunderous humanity, the menagerie of individuals creating their own peculiar noise which merely added to the symphony of morning. It was soothing and acted as a remedy to the man's ears.

Alone in the back of the class where the dark somewhat covered his complexion, he sat there ready for class to begin.

                                                                    User ImageUser ImageUser Image

After her very interesting interaction with her new roommate, she had quickly made her way to class. The last thing she wanted to be was late, and that went with everything she did. Late assignments, Late meeting someone, staying up too late? Yeah, she didn't do it unless she accidentally did or there was some purpose to it. So she hadn't spent much time with the interaction regarding her roommate, she'd see her later after all. After the pleasant walk from her dorms to the correct wing, her shoes making a tapping sound as she walked down the halls. She felt her phone buzz as she walked and once she found the correct classroom, she paused to check it before she stepped inside.

Hey! How are classes? I miss my darling already~

Xina smiled, shooting her mother a quick message back stating that class was about to start and she missed her too before sliding her phone back into her coral pink backpack. She then stepped into the classroom shortly before the crowd came. She took a front seat, setting her bag on the floor by her feet, her camera on the desk and she leaned over to pull out a notebook and pencil. She set them on the desk in front of her before focusing on the man at the front of the classroom, Matheo. She listened to him speak about roll call before calling out names and once he came to her name, she raised her hand with a smile. " Here!" she just as quickly lowered her hand, allowing for him to keep going with role call.

She straightened up a little, her gaze drifting to her camera for a moment, wishing she could take some pictures but she'd do that after. Snap a few pictures outside. In fact, she had quite the collection already of shots of her classmates, and fellow students. Granted, some of them were taken secretly but she really didn't know how to respect boundries, as if she knew they exsisted sometimes. She enjoyed taking pictures of people more than nature, the leaves only had so many angles to them, while people had so much more than a few. Different expressions, poses, moods... it all captivated her and she wanted to have the pictures to prove that she lived her life. She smiled to herself, her reddish eyes losing the hazy look to them as she looked back up to the teacher, ready to listen and learn.

Lane had dragged his feet the entire way to the classroom. To him, it was already a long day and he just wanted to get all of his classes over with so that he could go back to his dorm room, change, then get ready for either Baseball practice (if the guys were there) or run around the entire campus. He knew that he wasn't going to be able to concentrate. The whole Summer he had run around and did things actively. He didn't give himself enough time to prep for sitting at a desk for about an hour and concentrate on things that he didn't really care much for. Why was he in Journalism, anyway? He had taken a Composition class for his major already so there was really no need to---oh. He started to remember why he had registered for Journalism now. He remembered it being because of a really cute girl who was in the Newspaper Club last year. He couldn't remember her name at the moment but she had made him interested, in her, enough for him to join. He thought that by taking this class he would be able to impress her with his writing skills when, really, there wasn't much skill in him at all. He was just a really loud, handsome, and tall guy who loved sports.

Lane sighed and leaned against the wall adjacent to the door to his Journalism class. He had been standing there for about five minutes now just contemplating his life choices. "All this to impress some girl that you're probably not going to see again." He said to himself, not noticing when people would walk past him to go inside of their class. If they were able to get a good look at his face they would be able to recall that he was the infamous human student who often got into trouble with the other supernaturals. A lot of people knew that he was just some dumb guy who failed at making conversation or making friends but he really wasn't that bad of a guy. Obviously, Faith seemed interested in him and didn't look for the first chance to make a run for it so he was doing something correctly.

Whining softly to himself, Lane raised his bag up off the floor and slung it around his shoulder before walking inside of his classroom. He was surprised that there wasn't a full house but always knew that people often got lost on their way to and from classes. He looked around and scanned the people that were already in the classroom. Each year he did this at the beginning of the class. It seemed as though he was merely looking for that perfect spot to plant his a** in for the rest of the class year but he was really looking for any studious looking students to sit beside in case he ever needed trouble on a test or in-class assignment. His eyes stopped on a male sitting in the back. That was always his preferred section because he always got so bored that he would just stop paying attention and play with whatever he brought to class with him. Sitting in the back made it easier for him to not distract the other students and college teachers normally didn't care if you paid attention or not because, either way, they were still getting paid.

With a grin, Lane made his way towards the back of the class and sat down beside the male. He looked at him and gave him a nod in acknowledgement. "Where is everybody?" He asked. It was just something to talk about and it would gauge whether or not the guy was a friend or foe. There was something about the guy that Lane felt that he could become friends with. Always optimistic. "Lane's the name." He spoke, extending his hand out to him before the teacher started to call out the names on the roster. As the teacher did so, Lane recognized the guy from previous events. The guy was definitely nice so Lane knew that he wouldn't get into much trouble with him. When his name was called Lane did what everybody else did and raised his hand. "Present!" He replied, being that one kid who was different from the rest. He could practically feel some others roll their eyes at him because it was such a middle school thing to do but he couldn't help himself. He grabbed his needed items and set them on his desk and leaned back against his chair. The notebook and pen were just things to decorate the desk with. It wasn't like he was going to be using the items.

Lotti shoe's squeaked against the floor as she rushed to class skidding to a stop before the door she slide a few good inches before stopping, she did not want to be late as a grin formed on her face before opening the door. The reasons behind Lotti signing up for Journalism was simple, first off Lotti enjoyed the club and thought it would be fun plus it would be good to have this experience, and secondly it was because after high school courses for some reason the school stopped offering history classes, which in a way made Lotti a little upset but none the less she would strive. Doing a small fist pump Lotti walked into the room.

The female sniffed the air as she walked in, most of the people smelt human, well minus one, she could not really detect the smell coming from the female it was like a mix of a bunch of things along with some sweet smell probably somebody wash or perfume Lotti came to the mental agreement on as she then looked around the room, there were two guys in the back the girl with multiple scents was in the front Lotti began to ponder where to sit as she then chose to sit in the back but of course far from the two male students, she did not really want to make awkward conversation at the moment as she took out her pencils and pens, as well as her notebook. The only reason she did not pull out her laptop was to save battery on the thing, plus it liked to make a god awful noise that was a mixture between a dying duck and a whistle.

Lotti sat up as she heard her name, making sure not to be caught off guard and have her wolf ears pop out. She raised her hand with a grin that had almost a sly look to it "Here Mr. G" She said before lowering her hand as she then looked down at her notebook and began doodling random tiny stick men as she waited for class to finally start, she had the faint hope that she'd be able to make some more friends other then the Van Hise's, not that she did not like them, it was just because she wanted to make friends outside of that family since she doubted she'd be able to work for the Van Hise's after her schooling was done, it was not like the female would make a good maid or that they needed a cook, so Lotti assumed that she'd be on her own after college, not that she mind the thought, it was not like lone wolves were an uncommon thing in werewolf culture, it was just something heavily frowned upon. Lotti let out a heavy sigh as she contuied to doodle horribly.

Adelaide practically flew down the first-floor hall of the North Wing. Alright, so maybe that's not saying much considering the other students who actually do fly, but you get the idea. Hopefully. The s**t-eating grin on her face certainly gave away the excitement she felt for her next class. OMG WHAT A TEACHER'S PET. But you know what? If you're not enjoying your major classes, then you're probably doing something wrong.

"MATTY!" Bursting through the classroom door, Ade waltzed right into the class, her presence filling up much more space than her 5'2" stature would have suggested. Ah, if only she had any shame, she would've sneaked in quietly after realizing that roll call had already begun. Buuuuut nahhhhh. Matt was her newspaper club advisor. They'd been through a lot together (or so Ade liked to think). I mean, all those gossip articles really brings a group together, don't you think? Well, it doesn't really matter what you think, because that's certainly what she thought. And now that it wasn't basically the crack of dawn, she was up and rearin' to go.

"So how was your summer, man? Get yourself a girl yet? You know, time doesn't stop for anyone. You can't let this go to waste," she said, gesturing toward his face and body. With a laugh, she hopped on over to her usual seat in Matheo's classes -- front and center. Because even if she got bored, Adelaide was completely shameless. She'll sleep, eat, or play a game if she so desires.

What an interesting evening it had been. The Meet & Greet the previous night had given her a chance to survey the student body. She’d been no more impressed than she had been other years. In truth, the only thing that large student meetings were good for was Elise getting to pick out who all the humans in the student body were. She thought this place accepted those that were considered to be elite and humans were not elite. Well, at least not in her book. The best part of the whole event had been running into Floki. Oh, and let’s not forget her snide comments directed at the mermaid half breed. She almost felt bad for how rude she had been. Almost. A creature like that really didn’t really deserve her attention. She had never been one to waste her time on humans afterall.

The blonde sat up in her bed, brushing strands of hair back from her face. Little Addi had already left her and now she sat alone in their blacked out dorm room. Perfect. This meant she had the bathroom all to herself. A tiny smile crept onto her face as she tossed the covers off of her before swinging her around to touch the floor. Ack! Wood floor! A shiver shot up the female’s spine. They were so pleasing to the eye but when it came to being practical wood floors were good for nothing but helping you freeze. She zipped across the room, going straight to her closet to grab the outfit she had planned before passing out the evening before. She took a hold of the garment bag, making her way to the bathroom to get ready for the day.

                                            Journalism

It was a good thing Elise didn’t have a physical activity type of class early in the morning. She'd spent entirely too much time on her appearance to deal with having to dress out. Actually, she was almost positive that she hadn’t but a class like that on her schedule at all. She preferred to work out on her own time. Organized fitness just wasn’t her thing. She poked her head into her assigned classroom, noticing a navy haired instructor at the front with 5 other students in the room. She moved to find a seat by herself before she realized she actually knew one of the other students in the room. “Lotti Blumstein, is that you?” Eli quickly moved her hand up to her mouth to hide her grin. Oh how she adored Lotti! She was a werewolf but a werewolf that Elise could tolerate. Her grandmother had watched a number of the van Hise’s when they were children which meant Lotti was often one of their playmates. She had a very faint canine scent but it wasn’t something that Eli considered to be offensive. She’s actually grown quite fond of the smell. “It’s been a while.” she continued, sliding into a seat next to the girl. “I do hope that you weren’t saving this spot for anyone.” Elise chuckled, looking up as she head her name called. She raised up a hand before speaking "Present, Mr. Grimaldi." the woman announced before returning to her original conversation.
