xxxxxxxxxWould you leave me...
Finally, after another handful of failed doors, the winged girl's eyes lit up with relief upon seeing the sign clearly stating 'Leviathan'. Why she didn't bother to read the signs for the other cabins and checked them anyway was beyond her, but at least she found where she needed to be! (She could scold herself for her empty-headedness later, but for now she would revel in her success..) Smiling, she then hooked her fingers into the indentation of the handle before hesitating.
'...My teammates.' Though her smile remained, her expression was clearly stricken with rising panic. What if they were inside? ...well, it was her team cabin, why wouldn't her own teammates be in their own cabin. She hadn't even worked up the energy to introduce herself, or even brace herself for the possible back and forth of stares at the impending annoyance of sharing space - especially with the obvious extra luggage planted on her back. After seeing how small the other cabins were, she had little hope for this one and simply drooped her head in perpetual defeat. Hopefully the ride would be over soon, but as if right now, she would have to suck it up and get the meeting over with. For all she knew, they could be nice..maybe, hopefully. She would be lying if she said she wouldn't be at least be even a little bit more comfortable knowing that one of her new acquaintances were assigned to the same team, namely her newest one, though she figured that was a little too much to ask for.
'We're on all in the same boat...train...so, maybe it'll be okay..' With that little flicker of optimism in her heart and a bated breath in her lungs, she slid the door open, expecting to see heads lift to meet whatever penetrated the comfort of their space. And yet, the cabin was completely, and utterly empty. Her chest collapsed as the once bated breath parted her lips. Seriously? Her azure orbs hastily darted back and forth between the adjacent beds, taking note of the miscellaneous objects strewn across specific bunks as if to announce that that specific spot was their territory.
"Only two so far, then..?" she uttered, quietly shutting the door behind her. The click of the locking mechanism prompted something to stir on one of the beds - something alive - and caused Aria to flinch whilst her wings flared up, as if to make herself seem bigger. "..!?" What followed after was a quiet little mew and what seemed to be a very large kitten, by kitten standards. "Oh," After assessing that it was merely someone's pet, she and her wings relaxed before approaching the groggy little creature. It wasn't until she was in arm's reach that she realized that this was not just some kitten, but a full-blown snowy white, stripe-bearing tiger cub sitting in their room. "Oh." The realization came far too late, but the cub itself seemed tame as it sniffed her closed fist and nestled back down in the acceptance of her presence. 'There goes one room mate, two more to go~' she thought, smiling as she wiggled her fingers at the mewling ball of fluff. "Okay, if those two are taken.."
Aria's eyes then reluctantly drifted up to the top bunks as her inevitable perch for the ride up to the Academy. They were comfy, sure, but the idea of cramming her wings up there seemed less than appealing. She could already imagine them spilling over the side and her bunkmate waking to see a canopy of feathers draped beside her head. The she personally thought that would be cool, she knew that not everyone would think similarly. They would have to deal with that later, but for now, she begrudgingly threw her bag onto the bunk that resided over the small cub and slipped off her cap. Her slender fingers raked through her blonde locks as she slightly arched her back, allowing atleast the partial full length of her wings to stretch. She stood amidst the center of the room to give them an equal amount of space, but the small cabin was barely long enough to accommodate the full 17ft of her wingspan. Still, it felt nice to unload a bit. Her arm reached for the ceiling as let out a happy little moan, obviously pleased to have the moment to herself before she had to interact with anyone else.
