Fishing is down! For some of us it probably feels like we've lost a home. We don't have to lose touch with one another however! So let's discuss. What have you all been up to in the absence of our beloved game?

What do you miss the most about fishing?

My answers!

What have you all been up to in the absence of our beloved game?
Working on Hooked mostly, some vending, catching up on some anime (One Piece FTW!), and connecting with some friends. I even visited some family out of state!

What do you miss the most about fishing?
Catching sands! T____T; Working on my diamondback mask quest! And most importantly seeing my fishing friends so often.

What are your current frustrations?
That our devs seem to be so overworked! They've got so many things to juggle and it seems they're not getting everything out in the timeline they had originally planned. :C I wish HQ would focus on fixing features first before seemingly funneling all energy into new things and pixels D:

When do you think the update will roll around?
I hope in September D:

Where do you speculate this new lake will be?
In the skyyyyyy~

What kind of fish do you expect to see there?
All the fish of the white white sea!

What kind of rods would you like to see made?
A pirate fishing rod! c: exclusively available and only useable when wearing an eyepatch, yaaar~

With fishing down, I just am trying to support the game as much as I can in order to help Gaia staff take notice, and realize we still love and miss it. Other than that and being on YouTube, I'm hardly online anymore. Haha!

Voltbite (Abearican) and I have been playing Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate together. It's been a blast! Other than that I've just been hanging out and getting school stuff squared away.

Well I've been strutting around Gaia spending my gold. o_o Fishing was the one source of gold for me and it's hurting me that I can't fish now. XD

Lately I've just been chatting and trying to get some jobs in the service forum.

Well not for myself but for others. It's gotten to the point where there's really nothing that I want anymore.

Yes, chatting has gotten me many friends. I never knew that'd happen... XD
Meh, jobs are jobs. XD I can't bump cause I get bored after a while, I can't draw, so the only things that are left are town collecting, tickets, and fishing (which is still sadly down sad )

I've been rather busy but I really have been wanting to fish bad. whee

What have you all been up to in the absence of our beloved game?
Taking care of my dad and brother, vending, yardwork, moving things out of my apartment, Several Artworks, constantly changing avatars, spending time with my son. Chatting with a few friends. (I so need to read some manga and watch anime.)

What do you miss the most about fishing?
Meeting others, chatting with friends, catching stone boldurs and green stripers for my quest.

What are your current frustrations?
Well, I want to fish and keep my fish.

When do you think the update will roll around?
If they were nearly 70% finished in late june.
Plus have lots going on, it's hard to say.

Where do you speculate this new lake will be?
Aekea? Theres no lake there.
I have no clue. o.o

What kind of fish do you expect to see there?
Robot fish? surprised

What kind of rods would you like to see made?

Sticky Fingers' rod. wink
I'm sure you catch all even some MAD STDS with that one. lol
Also some fishies.

3. putting messages in bottles & sending to "codemonkey's new job address
4. Reviewing all the relevant forums to fishing..
5. Visiting former game sites' forums to advertise Gaia Fishing.. dang..
... **now this is really the hardest task of all** without any indication as to ....
.... what is really going on** ..

What do you miss the most about fishing?
1. fulfilling my personal fishing quests.. I got millions of them
2. sharing the joy of the uniqueness of the game with soon to
....be Gaians.

What are your current frustrations?
"Being out of the Loop" on the Update"

Woo! Glad to see the Guild up and running! Also very happy with the decision to go with Hooked Monthly rather than Hooked Magazine. Very nice. wink

I guess without fishing, there isn't much of a reason for me to log-in as often. So my main frustration is finding the motivation to log-in to Gaia at all?

I just hope fishing comes back soon. emotion_facepalm

What do you miss the most about fishing?
Actually I do still fish - I just can't save buckets. But it would be nice if I could still save them.

What are your current frustrations?
I feel that everything is just about money for the admins and they don't really care what users want. Also I'm very frustrated with ask the staff as they haven't answered any of the fishing related questions.

When do you think the update will roll around?
maybe in spring... I think they will do the holiday-event first, then valentines das and maybe afterwards they will care for fishing.

Where do you speculate this new lake will be?
Maybe in Lake Kindred? They seem to center the page around it... though it looks very much like bassken lake so that would be boring... I so hope that the other lakes will still exist... I love lake durem smile

What kind of fish do you expect to see there?
hopefully some that are challenging whee

What kind of rods would you like to see made?
hopefully not some that you have to pay for real money and that are better than the angelic rod -_- everything but that and I'll be happy
