This topic focuses on the specifics of the city Chronopolis.
The world of Aeroth has in disarray over the opening of the gates between Zion and the countries in the rest of the world. The gates between Zion, known to the other side as Zion Gate, separates the Zionian demons from the rest of the non demon world. With the opening of the gates, demons have infiltrated the world and have begun to wreck havoc. The mere presence of open gates has caused all the unnatural disturbances because their open state creates an imbalance in the flow of the world.
A prophecy had foreshadowed this occurrence and its disturbance and had also foresaw a group of brave heroes who gather and courageously fight their way into Zion and close the gates to return peace and balance to Aeroth.
Chronopolis is but a city in the kingdom of Depocah. However, strangely enough, Chronopolis is completely unaffected by the disturbances. While outside the city's outer wall, it may be eerily dark, the city and the area around it are completely normal, making it from afar seem to be a beacon of hope.
Some select nations and locations in the World of Aeroth
Kingdom/Country of Depocah – Citizens are known as Depocans
The typical run of the mill depressing kingdom. However, it does have a good amount of forestry and deserts.. . and believe it or not, it is a good center of trade, for some strange reason. Depocah's capital city is in a desert. Of possible interest is a secluded port city named Chronopolis, one of the rare cities welcome to all races unless you’re out to make trouble. Chronopolis has a mysterious lord who apparently has a reputation of not being one to be trifled with. If you’re still curious about Chronopolis, see here.
Stealth Way: – Road infamous for robberies in Depocah. On one end, it ends at Eurosia. The other end veers off into other roads in Depocah.
Country/Kingdom of Eurosia – Citizens are known as Eurosians.
Eurosia used to be a large province of Depocah, but it seceded and created its own country because Depocah’s king could not prevent it. This kingdom’s advisors are well known for plotting, in the underground, and trying to puppet control the Ackertian king. If there’s any kingdom that wants to take over the world, this kingdom would be it.
Eurosia is a mountainous kingdom, but parts of the kingdom also align with the ocean. The weather is in this region is colder.
Star Point - A condemned temple in Eurosia
Country/Kingdom of Ackertia – Citizen are known as Ackertians.
Ackertia is known for its benevolent king. However, the king of this kingdom is absentminded, so absentminded that one time he never realized that his advisors had been “replaced” by Eurosian mages until someone else got rid of them for him. If there is one kingdom that is likely to overextend its troops in order to help people, Ackertia would be it.. .and it’s all because of the king. Ackertia's castle also fits the king's benevolent personality. It looks more like an open temple than a fortress. Yes, there is still security.
Country/Kingdom of Chrome
The cruelest kingdom of them all… or used to be until that incident ten years ago. Chrome has kept the other countries at bay, being quite successful in defending its borders. It is/was the kingdom with highest military might. Previously, everything that the king mandated was the law. The kingdom’s weather temperate varies. It is moderate, but it does receive its share of cold and hot weather with the seasons.
Island of Sitnalta: The island nation in the ocean. Not many people ever go there or know of its existence. Citizens are known as Sitnaltians. This island has a secret connection to Chronopolis, Depocah and the features of this island do not match with the rest of the world. … If one were to somehow visit the island, one would find that it doesn’t even seem to be in the same time period.
Country of Zion: Named as the holy land to the demons (because the demons think of it as a holyland), Zion is the country of demons. Citizens are known as Zionians, which is to be distinguished from Zionists, cultists who worship or believe in Zionians. It is separated from the rest of the world by the “Gates of Zion,” named due to cultural influence. Since the rest of the world shuns Zion in fear or myth, the gates earned the name through the reputation of the land behind it. The Gates are closed. When they open and remain open for a while, the skies in the rest of Aeroth darken.
