General Note: The Ending Summary (one potential ending) is posted on page 37. Chronopolis - City of Illusions Eerily tumultuous dark skies, unnatural earthquakes and other physical reactions of turmoil... Armies clashing in the night against creatures of another nation. The world of Aeroth is in disarray over the opening of the gates between Zion and the countries in the rest of the world. Zion's gate separates the Zionian demons from the rest of the world. With the opening of the gates, demons have infiltrated the world and have been wrecking havoc. The mere presence of the open gates has caused all the disturbances. A prophecy had foreshadowed this occurrence and its disturbances. In it, it also foresaw a group of brave heroes who would be gathered and would courageously fight their way into Zion and figure out how to close the gates and return the peace and balance to Aeroth. However, strangely enough, the city of Chronopolis in the kingdom of Depocah is completely uneffected by the disturbances. While outside the city bounds, it may be eerily dark, the city and the area around it are completely normal. Quote: Somewhere on the far distant side of the kingdom of Depocah, there lies an unknown place known to some as Chronopolis, where reigned and still does reign a Lord Thomas, who looked after a child, Forest.....“Guardian damn it! We’re under attack by sea. They’re going to need you, Kevin,” the infantry captain, Adam hollered as he ran into the castle corridor where two of his fellow captains were. Chronopolis’s military was broken down into five branches. The sea guard’s captain was a young man by the name of Kevin. Kevin’s hair was blonde and spiky, barely covered at all by a cap. Kevin had an outgoing personality as compared to the other leaders. There had been rumors of him being a merman in human guise because of his unsurpassed water skills.“Do you know who is attacking?” Allen asked as Kevin ran off. Allen was the captain of the High Guard. Smooth long blonde haired Allen was very kind and stern. He could never be as outgoing as Kevin. Perhaps, because of his understanding personality, the lord of Chronopolis chose him to be his announcer.Adam shook his head slowly with a sigh. “No, too dark, and looked like none of the ships had insignias,” he grumbled. When one approached the infantry training fields, it wasn’t uncommon to hear a man yelling angrily at the troops. Adam had a short temper and reacted extremely swiftly. His beard was always trimmed neatly. His dark colored hair, however, was not as tidy. It was always in disarray from training.“Strange, ambush then. We’d better guard all the entrances to the city,” Allen said quickly. At that moment, a High Guard rushed in. “Captains, we’re under attack from all directions. Some of them don’t even look human!” “Quickly, let’s go. Civilians to safety first,” Allen ordered. “Sound the alarm!” Since the threat is to the world, most nations are cooperating together to gather heroes and help them and also selfishly using their own resources to fight off the demon attacks. However, other countries may not simply have protection on their minds.... and even stranger things might happen even if people act with good intents... and Chronopolis may find itself in the conflict anyway. "This whole fiasco is simply just a big misunderstanding." - Lord of Chronopolis

3. The World Beyond Chronopolis World of Aeroth: The world that Chronopolis is in. There are many nations, not limited to the ones below. Kingdom/Country of Depocah: The kingdom that Chronopolis is in. Citizens are known as Depocans, but Chronopolis residents may be referred to as Chronopolitans. Depocah's advisors are frantically trying to organize defenses against intruders. The king, of course, has the best timing and is on vacation. Stealth Way: – Road infamous for robberies in Depocah Island of Sitnalta: The island nation in the ocean. Not many people ever go there or know of its existence. Citizens are known as Sitnaltians. Country of Eurosia: Citizens are known as Eurosians. Eurosia is actually a large province of Depocah, but it seceded and created its own country because Depocah's king could not prevent it. Eurosia advocates uniting the nations to fight against Zion and further the prophecy, but it also has other ideas on how to do so. Eurosia had previously tried to attack Chronopolis a year or so before the gates opened for trade reasons. Star Point - A condemned temple in Eurosia Country of Ackertia: Citizens are known as Ackertians. Ackertia is known for its benevolent king, and its council is trying to protect its people as well. In the same process, the king is over extending Ackertia's troops because he's too benevolent. Country of Zion: The country of demons. Citizens are known as Zionians, which is to be distinguished from Zionists, cultists who worship or believe in Zionians. The Gates of Zion: The gates are the barrier between Zion and the other nations. The gates are called "Gates of Zion" due to cultural influence. Since the rest of the world shuns Zion in fear, the gates earned the name through the reputation of the land behind it. The Gates have been open for quite a few months now. Time Period and Technology Quasi- medieval times. Electronics do not exist. - When it comes to weaponry, cannons exist and so do trebuchets and battering rams. Other than those, the usual swords, spears, bows, etc exist. - Sources of light come from lanterns and candles, basically fire. - Apparatuses such as windmills exist. Everything works presumptively without magic because magic isn't something that everyone can learn or pick up easily.Magic is not inherent. It is hard to learn, and though many try, many fail. Types of magic include elemental magic, levitation, kinetics, teleportion(though a harder level), summoning(even harder), etc. Unofficial Magic taboos: - Necromancy (If there are any, know that they will be targeted for death by certain persons. Necromancy has a pretty fatal side effect to the universe. It also is a pretty high level deal.) - Strong large-scale Summoning (only by orders of the Chronopolitan lord). Strong summons are nearly impossible to control unless you have an extremely strong skill, magic, and will power combination. Residents of Aeroth Note the Complexity of the term Demons and Shapeshifters... Races: (Not all of these are playable. Look at "Join Forces" section for more info on those allowed.) - Human - Most - Apps Allowed. The world is predominantly human. - Demons in Zion - See "Join Forces" Demons are a particularly broad category and the definitions differ from each race to another. Humans call anything, besides animals and plants, that doesn't look like them demons or call anything they can't explain magic or demons. They have accepted the existence of elves and dwarves since they humanlike features though some still call them demons. The term demons is basically a scapegoat to blame all unfavorable events on. Having said that, then what are demons? The types of demons vary and may look incredibly different from each other. Yes, vampires are considered demons. Gargoyles, succubi, dragons, etc... The majority of demons are in Zion. There are extremely few in the rest of Aeroth. Those are either banned, punished, or decided to avoid Zion to live a "normal" life in human terms. - Shapeshifters - Very Very Rare (for true shapeshifters) - Also under Demons - See "Join Forces" Again, just like with demons, this term varies from use. It has been used to describe anything that can shape shift and thus, has been grouped in with demons. People have used the term shapeshifters to encompass the ability to shift using magic. Humans consider all shapeshifters demons. However, then what are shifters? Shifters do not use magic to shift. The ability is inherent with them. Why? 1) Shifters may be the rare product of a union between a demon and some other race, a halfie. Demons consider them taboo, and so shifters are frowned on everywhere, so if there are any, they conceal it. The exception is at the castle, since they are most likely automatically found out. 2)The other type of shifter that the term really refers to are true shapeshifters who can morph into many different objects and depending on their abilities, may even be able to morph the abilities of the object. For example, one of these shapeshifters could possibly turn into a brick wall and be just as hard. - Were- wolves - few - not really a race but a disease Were wolves are the only known were-creature besides were-cats. Were wolf syndrome is a disease that started from the first original werewolf, a thoroughbred. All were wolves now are from the were wolf disease. Infected vampires fit into the same boat, but then they all get called demons. Were wolves are sometimes called shifters, but bear in mind that they are not true shifters. Unlike the original werewolf demon, were-wolves can only shift between its original race (such as human) and the two legged standing "werewolf" form. They cannot shift into normal four legged wolves. - Were-cats - few - not a disease - Also under Demon Were cats are a type of demon. They cannot infect other races. Were cats may shift between three forms; a cat, a standing cat, and a humanoid form. They are limited shifters, not considered true shifters. Were cats may also be halfies, though this is even rarer. - Elves - Some - Apps allowed. There are some elves in the world. Elves have longer lives, pointy ears, and tend to be distrustful of humans. Magic comes more easily to elves than other races. - Giants - Few - No applications allowed. Giants are huge. They tend to live in the mountains hidden away from the rest of the world. - Dwarves - Apps allowed. Dwarves tend to be short but stout. They tend to live in mountains and underground, away from other races. - Merpeople - Rare - Apps allowed. No one knows anything about the merpeople except that they live in water. - Typical animals, insects, and plants"Yes, yes. The world could be complicated indeed." - Lord of Chronopolis

4. Chronopolis Chronopolis is a mid size town/city at some distant edge of the kingdom of Depocah. The city and its surrounding areas is a single province. However, the province only has one city town, and that is Chronopolis. To the west of the city is the ocean. There are two layers of stone wall surrounding the city. The inner layer covers most of the city. The outer walls encompass the inner layer and covers the farmlands and outer rim settlements. The castle is closer to the North Gate. Past the north are forests and then mountainous terrain. To the south and east are plains and hills and more forests. Previously, for the last several years, Chronopolis had suffered a depression and is still currently recovering from it. Due to the depression and drought at the time, trade to other countries and provinces had ceased. Chronopolis had been working on self sustaining itself. Thanks to the lord and castle's interference, riots and attacks were kept at a minimum. At that time, there was even a rumor that the lord had fasted for two weeks in order for others to eat and even plowed the fields with the farmers and was secretly involved all over the town. Chronopolitans are wary of outsiders. Each Chronopolitan carries a badge, so when they return from outside the borders of Chronopolis, they show a badge to the gate and are allowed through peacefully. The amount of people who travel and trade from Chronopolis is relatively small as most of the trades will happen in the other locations. Chronopolis Districts/Areas/Buildings Inside the Inner Wall: This is the city area. - Castle: The castle is in the north. Obviously, the castle isn't a public place. However, the castle and town hall are used for hearings depending on the content. In rare instances, the lord has held parties and shelter for the townspeople at the castle. - Unofficial Redlight Street: This street, called Redite Street, is relatively close to the inner wall itself and hosts bars and brothel. - Farm areas: These are generally in one area, so it doesn't disrupt the city life. - Clock/Bell tower near Town Square - Marketplace: Very close to the Town Square - Town Square: The town square - Town Hall Building - Lake and Gardens by the castle - Northern Cemetery with fence and gate around it. There is a secret passage that leads to the catacombs of the castle. - Library, Guilds, Shops, Schools - Etc/Others Harbor Area- opens to the ocean - Docks - Underwater Caverns - Lighthouse on a piece of land that juts outward into the ocean Outside the Inner Wall: This area is more agricultural and rural. - More farms, mills, and pastures - Southern Cemetery - Church/Worship Place - Small Coliseum - Some training grounds - Smaller lake - Forests Stone Walls - Iron gates (South, North, East Gates) - Watch Towers and living space built into the walls "Why ever would anyone possibly want to attack an insignificant city such as Chronopolis?" - Lord of Chronopolis

5. The People of ChronopolisNote: Feel free to laugh at the few attempted MS Paint edits to pictures that I made from this post and on. Lord of Chronopolis, Lord Thomas is the mysterious regent of Chronopolis, who has protected Chronopolis along with the military for years. His eyes are over observing and when one looks at them, they seem to see through the mind and soul. His secrets were rumored to number over a thousand. Military Branches For the sake of uniformity, the military branches armors look all the same, but their uniforms are different. Infantry - Captain Adam, Reference to a younger AdamThe infantry is the largest branch. It is also the town's main patrol group paired with the Calvary and Archery unit. The two units also have overlapping training. Infantry also deals with cannons and if ever needed, trebuchets and rams. The uniforms are brown and green. High Guard - Captain AllenThe High Guard is the smallest division the five branches. It is considered the "elite guard" and tends to the castle defenses and as ambassadors to the townspeople. Contrary to what people may think, this is not the Lord's personal guard. He refuses any, or maybe he really doesn't need any help. The High Guard's uniform is white and gold. Sea Guard - Captain Kevin, Reference to Kevin's hairThis branch is basically a navy and specializes in sea fights. There are a few ships in the inventory. To be noted is that some of these people may have been pirates in the past. The Sea Guard's uniform is blue and black. Calvary and Archery - Captain KiraThe Calvary and Archery unit is combined since Kira requires all archers to be able to shoot on horses as well. This unit works closely with the Infantry for town watch patrols. It also serves as scouts. This unit's uniform is red and brown. Mage Division - Captain Tia, Reference to a younger TiaThe mages usually take care of long distance objects, whether aerial or not. They also provide support to the other branches. They also take care of the healing. Though sometimes, town doctors will help out in normal and magic healing. This division is also constantly researching magic. This unit is the second smallest. The captain Tia was very stern about discipline. Th mages don purple and white uniforms. Town Council: They represent the voice of the people. There are representatives from each district in Chronopolis. They usually meet with Captain Allen to discuss matters as Allen is a man of the people. Sometimes, they meet with the Lord, but Allen seems easier to talk to. Forest, the Lord's Rambunctious Child is the non blood related child that resides in the castle. She's been there and out, causing trouble all over town for as long as anyone can remember. No one really knows how she came to be, but people have simply assumed that she is related to Thomas or is actually his child. SpiesWell, if the lord has any official spies, no one has ever heard of them, so they're doing their job... But townspeople might hire spies too for other grievances. Scientists/Researchers Ailteran is head of the research department at the castle, researching is not simply limited to the castle. There are guilds and labs in town too as others are interested in technology. Other OccupationsFor the most part, Chronopolitans are really the typical medieval people. They are merchants, farmers, tavern owners, medics, teachers, bakers, millers, mercenaries, fisherman, homeless, smithies, etc. "Little brats... don't irritate me unnecessarily." - Lord of Chronopolis

6. Join the Forces! Possible Races: Human, elf, dwarf, very rare merman, rare demon Occupations: Pretty much anything. No, you can't be the Lord of Chronopolis or his family. Demon Hunters: People who have decided to earn a living after the gates open to hunt down as many demons as they can and get money for it. In general, they are not from Chronopolis since Chronopolis hasn't had any problems with demons. ChronopolitansIf you are from Chronopolis, you are 95% human. Chronopolis is mainly a town of humans, but it has elves as well. A few dwarves might be present. Either way, you might wonder about why Chronopolis seems unaffected by the prophecy if you hear stories from the outside world brought in by townspeople who have traveled back. In the rare event that you are a demon, you are either from Zion and got lost or you were banned from Zion long ago and are trying to live peacefully without revealing yourself. If you are from Zion, you should know to avoid Chronopolis. This position will not open up unless other races are filled to some amount. Keep in mind that in Chronopolis, demons are the minority...Other CountriesThe other countries in Aeroth, besides Zion, are also predominantly human. Most of the action is planned to center around Chronopolis. Depocah + Ackertia - You could be a merchant or some traveler, deserter? Or perhaps, you somehow heard that Chronopolis was unaffected and are a refugee trying to get away from the mess. Eurosia - There's a bit of plotting going on here and part of the reason why Chronopolis is pulled into the conflict. The Lord of Chronopolis alone and Chronopolis have foiled Eurosia's plans before. In addition, Eurosia might just want Chronopolis because it is in a good location and well established, or maybe there's even more than that. The advisors and spy caught wind of some secret treasure story that Chronopolis has a great treasure. - King - Advisors - Spy - Military Premades - Yes, you may add on to background, appearance, skills, personality, etc... Aleron Stevson, Chronopolis Race: Human Age: 24 Gender: Male Occupation: Chronopolitan High Guard Appearance: [Fill in] Picture Reference:Personality: [Fill in, but sort of covered in background] Abilities/Skills: Aleron specializes in sword work. Transformation into a white tiger. He is NOT a shifter. Background: Aleron never shows up for training as a High Guard. He pretty much shirks his duties and instead, goes to research at the castle library. Since Forest is researching demons, they have become companions in a way. Lord Thomas has sent Aleron to rescue Forest from Firzen's hired men once, and Aleron did so successfully with mishaps. Aleron dislikes the red light district, especially the brothels, though bars are a different matter since some of the bartenders know him by face. It is morally against his teachings. Ironically, Forest was held at a brothel during her kidnapping. When Firzen attempted to kidnap Forest again, Aleron warned Thomas about the mage's abilities and was quickly reprimanded since Aleron had never met Firzen. As Aleron shirks his duties, the High Guard captain Allen isn't sure where Aleron's fighting abilities rank. Thomas has assured Allen that Aleron's fighting skills are fine, but Allen still doesn't trust Aleron so much since Aleron never shows up at practice anyway. Aleron Stevson is the "White Tiger" in his clan. This name is unknown to the rest of the world except for Lord Thomas, who found him out when he tried to attack the lord once. He was forcefully sent to Chronopolis by his clan for some unknown reason as a permanent ambassador. He still wonders why. Aleron's abilities are different when he transforms. Without transforming, he’s just a typical human type. After transformation, he is literally a white tiger. He cannot stand on two legs like the werewolves. Unlike the werewolf syndrome, Aleron’s clan is not contagious and is really a clan that has these traits. So, the question is if Aleron qualifies as a shapeshifter. No. Aleron’s clan is a clan of tiger shamans. Played By: Application Note: If you are applying to be a premade, finish the profiles of the premades. They have the same form as the normal applications. Sample - but not really a great sample Name: Kevin Side: Chronopolis Race: Not telling. There is a rumor that he's a merman. Gender: Male Age: Appears in upper 20s. [ I've written "appears" since he is actually older than that.] Occupation: Captain of the Sea Guard Appearance: Blonde and spiky hair, barely covered by his cap bandana. Height of 5' 7''. Always wears a red scarf. Kevin has medium build and nonbulging muscles, probably mostly developed from swimming and training. Picture Reference: Reference to Kevin's hair, Attempt at tektek minus hairPersonality: Kevin is the most outgoing of the captains. Because of this, he is one of the closer ones to Forest. Though seemingly carefree and laid back, Kevin takes his duties seriously. He's all about encouraging people too. Abilities/Skills: Kevin is a very good swimmer and can apparently hold his breath under water for a long time. Some say he's better in water than on land. His weapon specialty is with long ranged weapons such as tridents and spears. Background: [ Do not be so vague as I am here. I didn't really go into Kevin's history. Maybe looking at the premades are a better example.] There have been rumors of him being a merman in human guise because of his unsurpassed water skills. However, Kevin truly loves the ocean and is the most knowledgeable on it in all of Chronopolis. Unlike the other captains, Kevin has a habit of calling Thomas "Master" instead of "Lord." Played By: Scythe de Zaran "Stop blabbing, Tom! You're not going to be at Chronopolis for most of the conflict anyway!" - Forest, the Lord's Child

7. NPCsLord Thomas, Lord of Chronopolis Picture Reference: By no means are the colors accurate at allAge: Unknown, but appears to be in his 30s Gender: Male Hair and Eyes: Dark, Red or blue Appearance:Tall man, over six feet, with sharp features and impassive facial expressions His eyes were over observing and when one looked at them, they seemed to see through the mind and soul. His hair color was just as dark as his personality. Weapon Specialty: Unknown Background: Thomas has been lord of Chronopolis for a long time and has constantly kept the city safe. However, not too much is known about him. His secrets are rumored to number over a thousand. One thing is obvious though; the fact that he always knows more than he lets on. All of the captains respect him and not all for the same reasons. However, sometimes, Thomas treats them like children... implying that he is older than all of them. Thomas's horse is a stallion by the name of Soul Heart. Thomas refers to him as Dark in shortened form. Keep your distance from this horse if you want to keep your body intact. The horse has a taste for flesh and blood. He's also bitten Thomas before. Adam, Captain of Infantry Picture Reference:Reference to a younger AdamRace: Human Age: 30s- 40s Gender: Male Appearance: Dark messy hair, trimmed mustache and beard. Height of 5' 10''. Weapon Specialty: Axe Background: When one approaches the infantry training fields, it isn’t uncommon to hear a man yelling angrily at the troops. Adam has a short temper and reacts extremely swiftly. His beard is always trimmed neatly. His dark colored hair, however, is not as tidy. It is always in disarray from training. Adam is an alcoholic. Strangely enough, Adam’s mind is always clear concerning battle techniques even if he had alcohol in his system. The only setback was the resulting worse temper and stubbornness. As such, Adam's alcoholic habits actually landed him in this position. Lord Thomas found him in an alleyway completely drunk and took him in, somehow seeing his potential. Adam also had a wife, who left him and then recently came running back to him, pleading for him to help her child, Cerdrei, one of the heroes in the prophecy. Adam refused as Cerdrei was not his child. The captain also isn't fond of magic, and thus, has some bouts with Tia sometimes. Misc:This position may or may not be opened up to RPers. Allen, Captain of the High Guard Picture Reference: Allen, Not in armorRace: Human Age: 30's Gender: Male Appearance: Smooth long blonde hair and blue eyes. Height of 5' 9''. Weapon Specialty: Sword...ironically, healing/medic knowledge Background: If there is anyone who serves as the lord's substitute during Thomas's absences, it's Allen. Stern yet kind, the captain is the unofficial leader of the captains as well as the point person for the townspeople. He could never be as outgoing as Kevin. Perhaps, because of his understanding personality, the lord chose him to be his announcer. Allen is well respected in town, maybe more so than Lord Thomas since no one really knows that much about him. Strangely enough, of the captains, Allen is the closest to Forest. Kevin, Captain of Sea Guard Picture Reference: Reference to Kevin's hair, Attempt at tektek minus hairAge: Appears in upper 20s Gender: Male Appearance: Blonde and spiky hair, barely covered by his cap bandana. Height of 5' 7''. Always wears a red scarf. Weapon Specialty: Trident, Spear, Long range sticks Background: Kevin is the most outgoing of the captains. Because of this, he is one of the closer ones to Forest. There have been rumors of him being a merman in human guise because of his unsurpassed water skills. However, Kevin truly loves the ocean and is the most knowledgeable on it in all of Chronopolis. Unlike the other captains, Kevin has a habit of calling Thomas "Master" instead of "Lord." Kira, Captain of the Calvary/Archer Unit Picture References: Kira, Reference to Kira's ArmorRace: Elf Age: 30s, but appears in upper 20s Gender: Female Appearance: Long orange hair usually tied in a high pony tail. Green eyes. Height of 5' 7''. Almost NEVER in a dress. She usually wears tunics that allow her to move easily. Weapon Specialty: Bow and Arrows. She also knows minimal basic magic for healing and support boosts. Background: Kira is in charge of the cavalry and archery units for ground assault. Her bright orange hair outlines her flaming personality. Her green eyes emphasize her tactical planning skills. Forest likes to pull her high ponytail. The elven captain wasn’t too happy about that and made a deal with Forest. In return for training, Forest would not pull Kira’s hair. As a side story, Kira found out about the strange occurrences outside Chronopolis when her sister Sera came to visit. Sera is one of the heroes in the prophecy. Despite doing things such as dragging her lord into a closed room to demand an explanation, Kira highly respects the lord and will not put up with anyone tarnishing his name. Tia, Captain of Mage Division Picture Reference: Reference to a younger TiaRace: Elf Age: Old compared to the other captains. She won't tell, but appears in 20's Gender: Female Appearance: Short white hair, Violet eyes. Height at 5' 4''. She is usually in robes. Because of her skill in magic, she doesn't really exercise that often, so she has a small figure. Adam chides her for having no muscles and being horrible in manual labor. Weapon Specialty: Wind and Ice Magic, Staff Background: The captain Tia is very stern about discipline and keeping everyone organized in the division. Tia's magic skill surpasses everyone's in the division. She is also usually very experienced in solving magic issues. However, she is consumed by researching better and useful techniques. As an elf, Tia didn’t trust humans. In fact, no one can tell who she trusts. Despite her age, Tia may sometimes act like a child. Forest, the Lord's Rambunctious Child Picture Reference: ForestRace: Human Age: 14 Gender: Female Appearance: Black hair past shoulders, a little over five foot. Either in a dress or pants, where she can run and cause havoc. Weapon Preference: Sword Background: Forest is the non blood related child that resides in the castle. She's been there and out, causing trouble all over town for as long as anyone can remember. No one really knows how she came to be, but people have simply assumed that she is related to Thomas or is actually his child. Forest is constantly researching how to defeat demons and causing trouble for everyone in town. Maybe, it's because she's bored besides being outgoing and curious. Alongside Forest is a reddish hound named Fang. Assigned to be her guard dog by Thomas, Fang is, by no means, a normal dog. He can breathe fire. Often, Fang goes around frolicking and making messes with Forest to the town's dismay. Firzen, Fire Ice Mage of Eurosia Picture Reference: None. Race: Human Gender: Male Age: Mid 30's Occupation: Eurosian fire and ice mage Appearance: Firzen has wavy auburn hair and mild blue eyes. Standing 5’9’’, Firzen doesn’t appear to be a horrid person at all. He is considered handsome and actually has a kind appearance most of the time, throwing many others off on how skilled he is. His attire consists of pants and a shirt that make it easy to move around and allows for hidden places to hide materials for spells. He also usually has a cloak thrown over him to mask his movements. Personality: A bit arrogant, due to his high skills as a mage. However, he does have a kind side and something peaks his interest, he is stubborn and won't give up easily. Abilities/Skills: Firzen specializes in fire and ice magic and has above par fighting skills. Has the capability to summon and sufficiently control an ice dragon. He is very intelligent, and while he specializes in fire and ice magic, he also has experience with other areas of magic. He might be considered too smart for his own good. Background: Firzen was actually born in Sitnalta and raised in Eurosia. He knows a little bit about Sitnalta, but it's pretty much irrelevant in this RP. Firzen has commanded the "Kidnap Forest" attempts, but failed. Previously, Firzen summoned an ice dragon to catch Chronopolis off guard, so Eurosia could swoop right in after the ice dragon was dealt with. Unfortunately, the lord of Chronopolis thwarted his plan. In that incident, the lord's cape transformed into a demon. Firzen wonders if the lord is a summoner, to which the lord had said, "Sure. Why not? If you say so." Suffice to say, Chronopolis has caught Firzen's eye for personal reasons as well as he is curious about Thomas. He is working with Eurosia to find some type of treasure that is supposed to be in Chronopolis. "The child Forest is the bane of the town's existence and has absolutely nothing to do with this ridiculous treasure myth." - Lord of Chronopolis

10. Summary As of July 25, 2010 See ending summary on page 37 for what generally could have happened if the roleplay went on to the end. ------------------------------ As of June 5, 2010 South Gate: With the sudden darkness falling, it's impossible to make out the enemy. Hearing about East Gate's fall, Adam sends a squad over to provide support. Shrava solves the "seeing" problem by shooting fireballs to illuminate the enemy. He then leaves with Forest headed for East Gate. West Harbor: Arthur and the HMS come in as reinforcements to save the day. Seeing the darkness set in, many see the strange only source of light above the North cemetary. Kevin knows he needs to get there, and orders everyone to follow the HMS's lead. Led from Arthur, the navy takes down not only the enemy ships but also the two dragons. Somewhere in town: Taint appears and blows Isabelle and her cover by cutting Shizuru's finger, but Isabelle says that they are refugees from Zion. They all notice the light from the North Cemetery. East Gate: Everyone is fighting off/escaping/heading for the castle. Meanwhile, the mysterious mage has made his way through the gate and is heading to the North Cemetary. ---------------------------------------------------- As of May 15, 2010 (Up to page 34) South Gate: The skeletons are damaging the enemy. However, one of them has been disabled. The rest of the Chronopolitans are still in the town with Adam, monitoring the situations. Forest tries to get through the gate to see skeletons. Adam asks Shrava to stop her. Somewhere in town: Investigator, now named Arich, asks Isabelle to come along to the town hall if she wants to find out what's going on. Shizuru get impatient and grabs her, hoping to move them, Arich, and Felecia along to the town hall faster. North Gate: The enemy has retreated. Allen sends some of the High Guards to help East Gate. He heads to town hall to update the town council. ...however, the enemy here is headed toward East Gate to help charge the gate that has fallen. West Harbor: The ice dragon is on Chronopolis's side, one of Tia's summons. However, it is locked in battle with another ice dragon. Kevin's ships retreat from the waves and try to shoot the enemy ships on the other side of the dragons. He receives a message from Lord Thomas to end the battle and guard something at the North Cemetery. East Gate: Haucon, Lyris, Aidan, Shane make it to the gate and start helping/fighting the enemy. Lyris takes on the orc, gets hurt and starts speaking in an elven tongue. Haucon and Aidan helps him with his wounds. Ian takes the opportunity to shoot down the orc in the eyes/throat/heart/lungs, and Kira delivered the finishing blow with a stab to the orc's chest. Unfortunately, the orc had broken down the gate, so the enemy entered the city. Haucon runs back to the stable with a horse, and everyone starts fighting back the enemy. Kira tries to yell, telling everyone to drive the enemy to the castle, the location where the city citizens would take least damage. Somewhere else: A mage has disabled a barrier, which he says kept Chronopolis in a separate space. The skies in Chronopolis suddenly darken to match the rest of the world's. The only sunlight that comes through shines on the North Cemetary, and the mage comments that the starting point has been revealed. ------------- As of April 10, 2010 (Up to page 32) South Gate: Adam fights off the Skeleton #2 and calls a retreat. Many men are lost to the portcullis falling. Adam is the last to retreat, after narrowly getting killed by the skeleton that got back up. The men barricade the gate while the archers on the stone walls continue firing. To make matters worse, Taint sets a house on fire, and now the men have to put the fires out too. The fire forces Felecia out of the house and toward the area where Skeleton #1 is. Later, Adam is surprised when he is told that the skeleton #2 is now attacking the enemy. Prior to reaching South Gate, Shrava convinces Skeleton #3 to go on to its destination, the South Gate, and ignore Isabelle in the way. Isabelle had been looking for the bar/tavern, but had gotten lost. The skeleton had been interested in Shrava's sword and had been wary about Isabelle. Shrava gives his sword to the skeleton at the gate, and it heads off out into the battlefield, where Skeleton #2 is already. By the Bar: Shane dispatches Skeleton #1 and separates its chest from its legs. Felecia stumbles upon the scene, and Shane saves her from getting attacked. After a brief talk, Felecia heads for Shane's inn and meets the investigator and Shizuru. Meanwhile, Shane heads off to the area where Skeleton #4 is. The Apothecary: Haucon sees Skeleton #4 and along with Aidan watches quietly out of view. Lyris stumbles upon the scene and immediately shoots the skeleton in the head, pushing it in direct view of Haucon and Aidan. Seeing that, Lyris executes a sword move and knocks the skeleton away from the couple. Haucon sees a Sea Guard badge and starts asking questions. Shane enters the scene and starts asking his own as well as wondering if the skeleton is Alderin von Elroth, a former Sea Guard that went crazy and was put out of commission by Kevin. The skeleton seems relatively harmless and beckons for them to follow it. It heads through the Northern cemetery, which has some noticeably freshly unearthed holes. East Gate: Captain Kira and the soldiers are holding off the enemy. Ian catches a cheer for Eurosia from the enemy. Everything seems relatively fine until this massive orc comes crashing through the enemy's ranks. Kira sends off a fireball, but the orc blocks it with an enemy soldier and continues toward the East Gate. North Gate: Captain Allen and the High Guards have successfully and continually held off the enemy. West Ocean/Harbor: Kevin and his men successfully take down the underwater enemy and in the process are surprisingly disrupted by an ice dragon... at which point, everyone madly rushes back to the ship on both sides. ------------------------------------ As of February 27, 2010 Haucon, Aidan, and Shrava succeed in putting out the fire. Isabelle offers to help, but is ignored by their frenzy. In the process, Shrava also uses a spell and ends up fogging up the whole harbor. Kevin and the Sea Guard are holding the enemy ships at bay, but once the fog sets in, they discover that the enemy has started traveling underwater, and some of them have breached the line. Shrava even gets attacks, but he fends them off. Shane, Shizuru, and the investigator see a skeleton walking outside in the streets. Shane tackles it, and it starts to fight back. Shizuru and the investigator don't believe what they're seeing. (Skeleton #1) Taint sees another skeleton and tries to bother it, albeit unsuccessfully. This skeleton makes it to the gate where Captain Adam is and causes chaos because of its appearrance. Taint meanwhile loosens the gate so that it will fall if anyone crashes into it. (Skeleton #2) Haucon helps Aidan salvage supplies and offers to let her stay at the stables. While he waits, a skeleton walks by (Skeleton #4) Meanwhile, Shrava returned to his forge and armed himself only to see a random skeleton walking by. (Skeleton #3) ------------------------------- As of January 30, 2010 After the festival, everyone finally settles in for the night. Forest even sleeps over at Shrava's. Shizuru, reinvigorated by Aidan's medicine, manages to get home as does Haucon. In the dead of night/morning, the Lord of Chronopolis leaves the city to return at some later date in the future. Two days later It is a dark rainy day. The castle has been conned into making the castle "cute" by Forest or else suffer Forest's pranks. At Shane's bar, Adam and the Redite murder investigator get into a fight. Shane stops the fight while Lyris snores loudly in the bar but not before Adam nails the investigator again in the head and leaves. Shizuru treats the wounds. Shrava went to Aidan's apothecary to pick up some weird ingredients for a plaque Forest wants made. Unfortunately, Aidan and Shrava have an accident and end up falling on top of each other. Haucon arrives on the awkward scene and helps them. Isabella gives her customers new haircuts, then wonders about orders when Taunt appears on the scene and tells her to assassinate the investigator. Back at the castle, the captains are putting posters and complaining about Forest and the work when they hear of an attack by sea. Kevin runs off to the navy. The town bell sounds to signal caution. Meanwhile, the cubes explode /let off sparks in Aidan's apothecary, Shane's pants, and wherever Isabella buried hers. Shane gets rid of his pants and throws them out the window. He puts on a new pair of pants and grabs his sword, determined to guard the bar. Shizuru and the investigator remain at the bar. Haucon, Aidan, and Shrava try to put out the fire. ------------------------------------------ As of December 5, 2009 The night is winding down. Isabelle has gone to her new "office." Somebody dropped small cubes in various places;windowsill of Isabelle's new office, another by Shizuru's, another by Aidan's, and yet another by the bar Shane maintained... and other places. Haucon and Aidan send Moira home and head back into town to drop Aidan off. Aidan is more comfortable with horses. Shizuru closed her office, but got dead drunk, and was found by Haucon and Aidan, who have brought her to Aidan's apothecary. Tia has started her evening research on magic. ------------------------------------------ As of October 11, 2009 Everyone except Shane and Lyris watched the sword competition. Shizuru and Cassie continue talking while Lenore looks around. Lyris points a gun at Lenore, but a random man shouting that the sword competition is starting interrupts everyone. Lenore heads toward the competition. Isabelle enters Chronopolis and spots a demon Lenore at the sword competition area. Lenore is after Haucon, who is with Aidan. Aidan and Lenore are now rivals. Shravra and Forest head toward the competition. Shravra has a sword and is also participating in the competition. ----------------------------------- As of August 13,2009 Haucon and Aidan are still conversing in the marketplace. 12. Accepted Character ProfilesN.A.T.A. Name: Arthur Kirkland Side: Chronopolis Race: Human Gender: Male Age: 24 Occupation: Sea Guard, (former pirate of Ackertia) Appearance: Standing at the unimpressive height of 5'6'', Arthur's most notable features are his emerald eyes and his somewhat thick eye brows. His hair is a wild mess of blond, and the clothes on his back hide the countless scars that marr his young body, a testement to his violent past. Note: Since he has gained a position as a Sea Guard in Chronopolis, he's started wearing a non-functional eye patch. He thinks this helps make him look older than he really is and throws authorities off his trail. Another Note: He misses his red captain's coat he used to wear as a pirate of Ackertia. But the blue uniforms of Chronopolis will have to do for now regrettably. Picture Reference: Arthur and his crew The Implacable , Arthur the Sea Guard ver. , Arthur the Pirate of Ackertia ver.Personality: Though he tries to play the part of an upstanding gentleman of society, his dark past past tends to resurface half the time and that surly glare makes him almost unapproachable. But if you tend to be one of the few who falls into his good favor, you'll find he's quite a sarcastic, pompous, a**. But it's all in good humor. Really. Abilities/Skills: He seems to be handy with anything sharp, so his skills with a sword isn't anything to scoff at to say the least. And don't touch him when he's downing a pint at the bar because he's even more of a street brawler with his fists. And while he's tried his hand at magic, nothing has come of it. But it doesn't stop him from trying (and failing miserably) as he has an intense curiosity with anything to do with magic and the occult. Background: Arthur is a passionate native to Ackertia who fights for king and country. When he saw his country go into decline, he decided that the only way to help support his beloved Ackertia was to make a bit of fortune preying on other sea faring merchant ships and supplying the war effort. Those other countries deserved it after all right? Unfortunately he found he had quite a knack for it and began exploring Aeroth by way of seas and plundering neighboring country merchant ships. His exploits have taken him from Sitnalta to Eurosia, all the way to the impregnable city of Chronopolis. In this little misadventure, the pirate, through no small amount of effort, has gained entrance into Chronopolis' Royal Sea Guard and has worked to get his ship the HMS 'Implacable' and his crew enlisted as one of it's protectors. This works as a guise he can don because he's earned himself quite a (bad) reputation and there are many country authorities looking for him and would love to see him dangling at the end of a noose. As if he would ever let that happen. And hey, while he's here in lovely Chronopolis, might as well make some money of it eh? Played By: N.A.T.A TriggerPerfect Name: Aidan Vale Side: Chronopolis Race: Elf Gender: Female Age: Young by the standards of her race. Appears to be in her late teens to early twenties Occupation: Apothecary Appearance: Long, russet hair frames an oval face. A high forehead slopes gracefully down to almond-shaped slanting eyes of a green so dark they seem almost black. A long, sculpted nose leads to lips that are full on the bottom and slightly thinner on the top. Her face is closed by a soft, small chin and prefect skin. Aidan is of a long, willowy build, though she is barely over five feet. Her torso is smooth, breasts small, and waist thin. Her hair reaches the middle of her back. Picture Reference: Aidan Personality: Aidan has a naturally introverted personality. Even amongst her own race, she finds it hard to open up to strangers. Around her friends and close acquaintances however, Aidan always has something to say. Her voice is strong an intelligent, and she is not afraid to share her opinions. To most, she seems serious and unapproachable, but to those who know her, she is loyal and trustworthy, if not a little quick to judge. Her distrust of the humans is a little less than most of her race, due to the fact that she works in close proximity to them. She even has a few human friends. Abilities/Skills: Herbal remedies, swordplay, basic elemental magics Background: Aidan, the first and only daughter of her parents, was born in a forest close to the outerwall. Her parents, afraid and wary of the humans never strayed too far into the city. Aidan grew up loved but isolated, which is the most likely the reason for her shy personality. Her parents knew the value of the plants surrounding them and often helped others of their race. Aidan watched and learned, and when she was old enough, moved into the city to open her own shop. She lives in a flat over her shop which is located near the outskirts of the main city, and has a view of the harbor from her windows. Played By: TriggerPerfect
Lise Illumincroix/Lost_Realms Name: Shizuru Watanabe Side: Chronopolis Race: Human Gender: Female Age: 35 Occupation: Doctor Appearance: Shizuru has slightly wavy long light brown hair worn down, held out of her face by a headband. In fact, sometimes, if the light is right, it might seem blonde. Her eyes are also a shade of light brown. Shizuru's figure is slim and considered attractive. Though slim, Shizuru is actually quite athletic. She is about 5'5'' and always sports a headband. Since she is a doctor, she usually dresses cleanly and comfortably so she can work. She is usually in a skirt and boots. She has a magnifying glass and glasses for close work. Picture Reference: [x][x] Personality: Not so nice, flirty. ...she likes making people's lives miserable and can be rather misleading. Seriously, she likes acting... it's just a part of her personality. Other than that, she's a major skeptic by heart and loves fights…. Or at least, that’s how she was when she was younger. Now, she’s more serious but still a total skeptic and cynic. Abilities/Skills: Medical science, some form or martial arts Background: Shizuru is from a mid class family in the city. She is an only child. Her parents have either retired and were in the textile industry. Shizuru was always getting into fights in her child hood through to high school. She never hesitated in insulting and defeating guys who hit on her. A notable example of her skepticism was when she joined the high school ghost hunting club just to poke holes in the members’ theories.
Shizuru’s life took a change when she realized that by pursuing medical science, she could 1) disprove superstitious theories, 2) help people on her own ability, 3) know how to fix people. Shizuru doesn’t believe in ghosts and scorns magic. She supports full self work and completely nonsuperstitious.
So, now she’s a doctor in Chronopolis and still single. Played By: Lise Illumincroix/Lost_Realms Atfynt Name: Felecia Hawthorne Side: Chronopolis Race: Human Gender: Female Age: 17 Occupation: At the moment none (She sort of just roams around) Appearance: http://www.acegames.us/forum/attachments/free-pc-wallpapers/137521d1247381620t-40-anime-girls-wallpapers-1920-x-1200-14-.jpg Personality: Felecia is usually kind to people she knows while she treats strangers relatively terrible in comparison. She loves to give random gifts to friends, and happens to be deathly afraid of anything with large teeth and or fangs... Abilities/Skills: No "Special" abilities, though she is a very good doctor when needed... Background: Born in a surprisingly wealthy family, she's been pampered her entire life which would explain why she hasn't worked a day in her life. Her parents died when she was little (though that's been kept secret from her by the rest of the family) so she ends up spending her family's fortune at frightening rate, though it never seems to run out... Played by: Atfynt Articx-Frost Name: Ian Frost Side: Chronopolis Race: Werecat Gender: Male Age: Looks about 25 Occupation: Archer in the army Appearance: About 5" 8 with a thin wiry build. Dark hair and yellow eyes. His eyes and ears are the only features that show he is a were-cat. These are kept hidden under goggles. Keeps his hood up to hide his ears. Picture Reference: Something like this Without the hood and gogglesPersonality: He is quiet in nature and tends only to say what is necessary to get along. What little advice he comes out with tends to be accurate and to the point, not easy to mix up or get wrong. With his strong sense of justice, he tends to dislike liars and thieves to the point where he might attack them for something slight. Being part cat, Ian finds high places to be comforting, especially if it is close to nature. Abilities/Skills: Unnaturally quiet, highly dexterous, an excellent archer. Knows some accuracy spells. Background: An archer in the Chronopolis army, Ian traveled the continent for many years before hand hunting wild beasts for money, a mercenary of sorts after leaving Zion for a difference of opinion with his. At some point Ian was seen single handedly taking down a rouge Urzhad bull, by Captain Kira of the archery and cavalry squad and was requested to join under orders that he keep his "history in Zion" a secret. Played By: Articx-Frost Name: Shrava Ordonna Side: Chronopolis Race: Elf Gender: Male Age: 73. Looks about early 20's Occupation: Metal smith. Appearance: Standing just around 5"9' Shrava looks like he can't even lift a hammer, yet alone swing one to make a sword or axe. His long black hair ends with gray tips that just "appear" no matter how much he cuts them off so he just leaves them alone now. Vibrant green eyes concentrate on the glowing metal as it slowly takes the form of a sword. Picture Reference: The same but without the ears and tailPersonality: Loud, brash and positive in all that he does. Kind and gentle with children. Abilities/Skills: Able to breath fire, Resistant to heat. Has some skills with the weapons he makes. Background: Shrava proved his skills as a metal worker in his village in the forest many years before he moved to Chronopolis. Upon reaching the main city he again proved his worth by helping the army with their problem of lack of weapons. In recent years Shrava has started making more things for fun rather than just swords and other blades. His current project is making toy soldiers to sell to the shops. Most of them are quite good. Played By: Articx-Frost Electric Kool-Aid Name: Haucon Jonas Side: Chronopolis Race: Human Gender: Male Age: 23 Occupation: Master of Horses for the stable of the High Guard Appearance: Haucon is about 6' 1" and weighs 175lbs. He has a muscular athletic build from working with the large war horses. He has a handsome face with gentle eyes and features, and keeps a close cropped beard. His eyes are a soft brown beneath the darker black of his hair. Personality: Haucon is mild mannered with both man and beast, though should the need arise, he can do whatever task is necessary. He feels more at home with animals than people usually, yet is affable in nature. Abilities/Skills: Haucon's main skill sets involve managing horses and the other animals that reside in the stables, he is very good with animals. He is a somewhat accomplished horse doctor, and excellent rider of course. While not particularly skilled with weapons, he has a general knowledge of very basic archery and uses a crossbow. Background: Haucon was born and raised on a small farm just outside of Chronopolis. At the age of twelve his father apprenticed him to the High Guard as a stable lad. Haucon had always been good with animals and took off with his career from there and ultimately now manages the stables. His childhood was unremarkable, and he frequently visits his family on weekends for supper and a chat. His younger sister Moira (19) also comes to visit him on a regular basis to check in and find the occasional oddjob in the city. Played By: Electric Kool-Aid Lord Malaroth Name: Shane Wolfken Side: Chronopolis Race: Human Gender: Male Age: 21 Occupation: Bartender, but secretly a mercenary Appearance: 5' 9''. Long, black hair with a black mustache. Wears a bluish tunic, with a leather, fur-lined overcloth. Wears plate knee protectors, along with leather fur-lined gloves and boots. Also wears a brown hooded cloak when it's needed. Carries a large broadsword in a leather-wrapped sheath. Wears an amulet given to him by his father when he was a child. Picture Reference: ShanePersonality: Can be stern at times, but is usually laid-back. Being a mercenary, he's also tough and smart. Due to his nature, he also cares for others and what happens to them. Becomes fierce when his friends and family are in danger. Surprisingly, he is one hell of a good cook. Abilities/Skills: Expert Swordsman and an excellent cook. Background: He was born in the small village of Kaiom, in Depocah. His father was in the army of Chronopolis, but died on duty. His mother was the only one to raise him, but before the day he died, Shane's father gave him a sacred amulet passed down from generation to generation, which was supposed to protect him from evil. When he turned 18, his mother died and left him to find his own way. Eventually he found work as a bartender in Chronopolis, but was dissatisfied with this work, so he became a part-time mercenary. Nobody knows of this secret life except for the Mercenaries' Guild he belongs to. At 21, he lives out his days in Chronopolis bartending and doing the occasional work for his guild. He has only heard rumors of the Demons and the Gates of Zion being opened, but he is still wary nonetheless. Played By: Lord Malaroth ------------------- Lord Malaroth Name: Lyris Deadeye Side: Ackertia Race: Half-Elf Gender: Male Age: 34 Occupation: Sharpshooter sent to Chronopolis. Appearance: A little over 6'2" with longish black hair and brown eyes. Has a bit of a tan. Wears mostly black leather, and a dark red cape on occasion. Usually wears his hat angled downward to hide his face, and always carries a belt flask. Picture Reference: Belt Flask Reference, Reference to LyrisPersonality: Lyris can be a bit cocky at times. (If you've played Fable II, then think Reaver, only less... annoying) Has a relentless flirtatious streak that has gotten him into more than one scrape. Can manage fine on his own, and knows right from wrong. Abilities/Skills: Is an excellent archer and gunner, which is how he got to be Ackertia's sharpshooter. Background: He was born in the elf lands of Lorasia, but do to his being a half-breed, they shunned him to Depocah. There the benevolent king of Ackertia welcomed him with open arms and, seeing his prowess with ranged weapons, promoted him to an army sharpshooter. On one of his many trips to Chronopolis, he met a young man of about 17 named Shane, who continued to serve him various pick-me-ups after his... restless nights. When he was called back to Ackertia, his new mission (if you could call it that) was to participate in the Festival Chronopolis held every year. Now, he continues to serve as a spy of sorts to the king of Ackertia. Played By: Lord Malaroth Giyari Name: The Barbers Daughter, Alias: Isabelle Side: Zion Race: Human Gender: Body gender: Female, mental gender: Male Age: body age: 15, mental age: 37 Occupation: assassin and spy, Cover: Salon Owner Appearance: Short at around 4’10” with cropped blond hair he looks young for the age of his daughters’ body, He dresses in clothes that allow himself to blend into society without drawing attention. He is usually seen with a sweet smile and bright eyes around his customers but, when on a mission those same eyes fill with revenge and malice, and the sweet smile warps into a cruel grimace . Picture Reference: Isabelle Assasins clothesPersonality: Looking like a young girl, He acts like a young girl to keep up his cover. Cheerful, bouncy and carefree he spends his days working at a salon talking to the customers about life problems and making them look beautiful, but in reality he is a cold hearted killer. Twisted by the knowledge that the soul of the daughter is gone forever and replaced by his, he takes out his constant grief and pain on his targets, taking them out in one move but leaving them alive for hours of pain without being able to cry for help. Abilities/Skills: He is a barber and hair dresser for his day job, and a brutal assassin and spy when he is called upon. Background: The father of this young girl was a very well respected barber who groomed the highest echelons of society. He was also an informant, and violent agent provocateur for the Uprising demons of Zion planning to take the earthly realms. When his cover was blown he was assured a drawn out and painful death at the hands of the authorities, but the demons had an alternative already planned for him. Through the use of unholy rites, the barber's soul was transferred into the body of his young daughter. He now works as a spy and assassin, his form allowing him to avoid suspicion, facilitating the murder of key opponents of the demons. Leaving the ravished lands far from Chronopolis, he has been sent to this peacful land to inform the uprising demons about the area and its people before they decide what to do and if they will make their move. Played By: Giyari Name: TaintSide: Zion Race: Imp Gender: Female Age: ??? Occupation: Messenger/Saboteur/Spy Appearance: Taint is tiny, even in the way of demons, reaching a total upright height of 6 inches. The smoke like substance leaking from her body is actually a physical manifestation of her aura which, depending on her mood, changes colours. The smoke from her back also forms together to create wispy wings. Picture Reference: XXXPersonality: Taint is instinctively mischievous, and had great joy in messing things up around. She is quite a sadist, enjoying watching others suffer, especially at the hands of the traps and pranks she has pulled. She is also a coward, and prefers to run away rather than fight, especially with Isabelle who she… Not fears, more respects and doesn’t want to get on her bad side. Abilities/Skills: Being small in stature she has a very high agility, Taint finds hiding and manoeuvring pretty easy and can fly well using her wings. Her magic is strong for her size, but understandably pretty weak, though by use of ‘the cascade effect’ can be rather effective if it’s successful. (E.G. undoing a few bolts/nails from a guard tower could cause it to collapse and block an entire gate.) She also wields a small razor sharp axe, this is more for her immediate defence than anything else as its size renders it all but useless as an attacking weapon, she usually uses it on rats that get too curious, or to skillfully remove fingers that are being bothersome. Background: Taint used to live deep in the woods next to an old village, where it was well known that the Imps played ‘pranks’ on its inhabitants. Pranks ranged from letting frogs loose in kitchens, painting messages on steaming windows, to the more extreme ones such as switching infants with dolls and hide the baby in the forest for its mother to come and find but this was greatly frowned upon by the elders and punishment was harsh. Taint wasn’t like the others though. Hiding the infant was too, easy… Delivering limbs of the infant to the house over the course of a month was much more fun… Taint was well named, although once being a beauty, she had a vile soul of hatred and corruption which eventually got her cast aside by the Impish world and banished to Zion, where the festering air consumed her body, transforming her into a creature of darkness. Played By: Giyari MIA Profiles------------------------------- zero4268 Name: [Zeroki Arbalan] Side: [Chronopolis] Race: [Shapeshifter] Gender: [Male] Age: [17] Occupation: [Farmhand, any odd job he can get.] Appearance: [Very tall, almost seven feet. Very thin and lankey, and pale as a ghost. His hair is dark grey and messy. His eyes are green and looks like they have a clouudy film over them. His face is angular, almost elvish in appearance. A long and jagged scar runs from his right sholder down his back to his left hip.] Personality: [He is genuinely kind hearted to all, and fiercely loyal to his friends. He always has good intentions, although he sometimes gives in and lets his emotions take over. He is very defensive when confronted with his past.] Abilities/Skills: [After years of living in the worst places in the city, he has trained himself in knife fighting and throwing. He has only a basic understanding of his shapeshifting abilities.] Background: [When he was too little to remember, Zero was rescued from a fire. Not knowing who or where his parents were, let alone if they survived, he was put up for adoption and taken in by a local family. Life passed without event, until shortly after his tenth birthday. He made his first shift, and for a fiew seconds had taken the form of a large black dog. He was labeled a demon, and quite literaly thrown out into the street. Since then, he has tried to hide his 'curse' and make a normal living in the city.] Played By: [Zero4268] Cat69 Name: Azhure Side: Chronopolis Race: Half Elf Half Human Gender: Female Age: 25 Occupation: Mercenary/Demon Hunter Appearance: Azhure is quite tall, standing at close to 6'0; she is quite curvy but this disguises a surprising strength (a fact that she has no problem using to her advantage). She has long, wavy blonde hair that she almost always has wrapped in a braid (or two braids) around her head; she has startlingly blue eyes and well put together features. She almost exclusively wears black leather pants, a red leather corset and knee high leather boots; all of her clothing is fashioned such that it provides some protection against weapons and, if the need arises, she can throw her light armour over top of any of it. She always has two long knives strapped to her outer thighs and a whip hooked on the back of belt. She usually has one or two smaller knives or daggers stashed elsewhere on her as back-up, though these aren't often visible. Personality: Somewhat in contrast to her upbringing and occupation, Azhure is a happy, caring individual who always try to believe in the best in people. She is quick to laugh and enjoys being the company of others. She is very loyal to people she considers her friends but if someone betrays her or tries to cross she does have quite a vicious streak. She's very good at seeming to be fully focussed on people she spending time with while constantly being aware of her surroundings - a very useful skill for someone in her occupation. Abilities/Skills: She is very skilled with knives and whips and they are her weapon of choice. She has extremely basic use of fire magic which is more or less limited to channeling flames through her weapons - and with the amount of energy it takes her (unless she's in a violent rage) it's little more than a party trick. Background: Azhure doesn't know her family; she was dropped off at an orphanage in the roughest part of the town as an infant with nothing more than a small piece of paper with her name on it. She was never adopted, as her features were just different enough to identify her as not totally human. Despite this, the caregivers at the orphanage treated her, and all the other children, as well as they could, which helped foster her good nature. Unfortunately, the neighbourhood around the orphanage was rough and dangerous and because of her appearance she was often accosted because she different, and as she grew older because men found her attractive; to defend herself she developed a nasty vicious streak which the occupants of the area soon learned to avoid. One of the caregivers had some skill with knives and decided it would be good for Azhure to learn how to use them after several incidents where she nearly didn't get away from an attacker. It was soon obvious that she had skill with blades and quickly surpassed her teacher's ability. Once she was old enough, she struck out on her own to find someone who could help hone her skill with blades. She found a mentor who not only helped her become an expert with knives but tried to help her learn how to use elemental magic. Through her knife training she also learned to master the whip as back-up weapon, though she became as proficient with it as she was with knives. Pleased with her skill with weapons, her mentor introduced her to the life of a mercenary. Once she'd established herself as a proficient fighter, she returned to Chronopolis and settled down (but only slightly as she's often away on jobs). When the demons starting appearing, she found that she was able to hunt them quite effectively and added that to her 'job description'. Played By: Cat69 Halcione Name: Lenore Side: Chronopolis Race: Demon—Succubus Gender: Female Age: Appears 23, Actually 117 Occupation: Whore/thief Appearance: It is with good reason that Lenore shares a name with a “rare and radiant maiden.” Her long, silken hair flows from the crown of her head like a golden cascade down the nearly six feet from her head to the ground. It tumbles in beautiful, too perfect waves. Even without other signs of her demonic heritage, this sign would be enough for most. Her hair seemingly shimmers and glows with a light of its own. Her eyes also enjoy an other-worldly light. They glow a soft red beneath thick, luscious lashes. Lenore’s tanned skin is smooth and supple, lustrous even. It is even and without blemish. Beneath it, she is fairly well built, with extremely lean musculature. This loans her an unnatural strength for her extremely thin figure. Her teeth are perfectly straight and white, though her eye teeth are pointed into fangs rather like a vampire’s. Perhaps Lenore’s most noticeable feature is a pair of leathery, bat-like wings which sprout from her shoulder blades and warn all of her evil nature. These she tightly pulls against her back and covers whenever she is likely to be seen by humans. This effectively allows her to blend in with humans as much as her extraordinary beauty makes it possible. When in the presence of lesser beings who she must disguise herself amongst, Lenore is forced to cover at least her back to hide her wings. She customizes shirts to give her plenty of room for her wings to hide, draping fabrics, but cuts the fronts to be especially low and revealing. Likewise, her lower half is rarely clothed appropriately. She is fond of sparkling gemstones and jewelry, and embellishes what little fabric there is in her clothing. If you catch her off guard or are visited by her in the night, she allows her wings freedom and her wearings leave even less to the imagination. Lenore rarely puts her hair up, preferring to let it tumble and catch the light. Picture Reference: http://fc02.deviantart.com/fs32/f/2008/186/5/f/Succubus_by_jppeaguirre.jpg Personality: Like most demons, Lenore can easily be depicted as cunning, crafty, and ruthless. However, she can also be quite… endearing. Humans, particularly human males find her quite accommodating. Those who do not engage her interests and who are also interesting enough to retain her attention will find her to be quite intelligent and witty. She makes great conversation and can keep up with any mere human. However, you mustn’t allow yourself to be fooled by her apparent camaraderie. Lenore is inherently evil, and enjoys the pain and suffering of others. She also likes to bargain, but only looks out for her own interests. She is quick sell out any former compatriots for a newer, better deal. But above all, Lenore is in enigma. No one being completely understands her, nor will one ever. She keeps her interests to herself, and trusts no one. Abilities/Skills: Most of Lenore’s skills lay in the direction of her… after hours pursuits. She is well-skilled in the art of persuasion, both with male and female targets, but apart from her aquiline ways with words, she is also versed in magical coercion (charms). However, she rarely practices this skill because of her high success rate with other, non-draining methods. As her red eyes hint, Lenore can see perfectly even in pitch darkness. However, extremely bright lighting cripples her (even exceptionally clear days cause her sensitive eyes pain). Her fanged bite is also quite poisonous, and her only method of offensive strike. When confronted with a danger which she cannot beguile or bite her way out of, she flees and is quite the escape artist. Background: As with all Succubi, Lenore’s history is one best left undiscussed among those with finer sensibilities. However, unlike most demons, Lenore has always spent the majority of her time outside of Zion. She hunts for prey among human kind, searching for those who appeal to her. It is quite a compliment if you happen to catch her eye. The purpose of her existence is to waste away her seemingly endless existence in an attempt to satiate her unnatural lusts. But of late… something else has captured her interest and energies. Lenore still stalks on the side, but the opening of the gates and war against the humans is something of great intrigue to her. And annoyance. If the Humans are annihilated, what will she amuse herself with in the eternities? However, because she is not a demon of influence or power, she has fled to the last refuge for humans, Chronopolis in an attempt to find a reliable source of Humans. She has begun undertaking the task of researching what is known about why the gates have opened, but has yet to meet with any noticeable success. Lenore currently resides in an upper apartment on Redite Street, and pretends to act as an expensive whore for hire, though she rarely if ever actually accepts a client. Those she does accept, she kills after “finishing” and robs his corpse to maintain her lifestyle. Played By: Halcione Chuzuka Name: Cassandra Desdemona Zalkana Side: [Eurosia] Race: [Human] Gender: [Female] Age: [Twenty] Occupation: [Spy] Appearance: [ Cassandea D. ZalkanaHeight: 5'5] Personality: [Cassie is a deep intellectual thinker who enjoys analyzing her surroundings. She tends to notice the smaller details, and that can be both rewarding or it can make her dwell on something for an over extended time. Unless she is working, Cassie has a generous, pleasant nature and her skills at communication are advanced. She is sharply intelligent, hates rules, believes things have an order in life, and is very idealistic. Cassie likes to have control on her environment and she is practical to a fault. She was born to flirt, which in most cases is just harmless fun and a part of her natural “sparkle” Her sense of humour is often dry or unusual. Cassie can be a loner, sometimes withdrawing herself from the world while her sensitive side seeks true companionship. Cassie unique by nature and she likes herself that way. Cassie is often a mysterious person because her true feelings run so deep and she keeps her emotions hidden. She also like to uncover things under the surface of others and is very intuitive. She can be strong willed and determined. This makes her greatly competitive, even if she is able to hide this desire to win from you. This also makes her very dominant and passionate. When she does not have a positive outlet for self-expression, she often turns inwards and becomes destructive. When wronged, she does not easily forgive.] Abilities/Skills: [ Very basic Element control: Fire (lighting candles ><), Running, and running fast. Street fighting [No weapons], Climbing, (other spy stuff =P)] Background: [ Cassandra was born into a well known family. Not wealthy, but well known. The family of the Zalkana are very influential people, even for a family that is in the ‘middle class.’ Cassie is the youngest of 5 – 3 boys and 2 girls, so she was used to getting away with things. When Cassie was four, her mother, Eleanor Zalkana, passed away due to a cancerous illness. Her father ceased to know his children existed after that. So she was sent to live with her aunt, near the outskirts of Chronopolis. Cassie was then introduced to books, millions of books. Her aunt owned a library in her gigantic home and often let her niece read alone. There she learned the art of fighting, the effects of healing, variety of herbs, the history of the cities and the legends of the gates. When she was fifteen, her siblings, as well as herself, were taken to a training facility on Eurosia territory. There, they were forced to accept working for the city, and being young didn’t give one options. Passing a well-rounded series of tests, Cassie was given the job of a spy and was to report every event, military weakness and strengths among other things to the authorities. ] Played By: [Chuzuka] LonerKino Name: Kino Side: Ackertia Race: Elf Gender: Male Age: 20 Occupation: Demon Hunter Appearance: Height 5'11 [x]Kino[x]Personality: Split personality, one that is kind and gentle, but kept to himself, the other, quiet and merciless during battle. Abilities/Skills: Swordsmanship is his most skilled area of expertise, following after, elemental magic, earth, wind, fire, water, and lightning, excluding the other elements outside the five, for example, Ice. Lastly playing musical instruments. Background: Raised in a forest secluded and hidden from the world, Kino was trained by his father and mother in the art of magic, as well as the skill with weapons. While the father would pass on the knowledge with using weapons, the mother passed on the knowledge of magic, both in which Kino had focused to attain a high level of skill. Day in, and day out his goal became to achieve his parent's expectation, a protector. It wasn't long before Kino had become 20 years of age that he'd been given the task of exploring the world, to become stronger, and to protect the helpless. He now travels as a demon hunter, carrying a flute in a pouch, and a guitar, making entertaining others a hobby. Played By: LonerKino The Ghost of Alice Name: Violet Armistad Side: Zion-sneaked into chronopolis Race: Werecat/elf Gender: female Age: 17 Occupation: student Appearance: 5'7, very slim, tall back and legs, light purple hair, long hair, brown eyes, at night they turn red Picture Reference: Personality: Fun, flirty, always that bubbly person everyone loves for their personality Abilities/Skills:Fairly good at magic, good swordfighter Background: Violet was born in Zion but escaped to Chronopolis. ((Today is the day of the festival! You're welcome to make up your own festival events.
Soldiers can live in the barracks or in their own quarters in the city.
Kevin's dream refers to the quote in the first post.))
“What a strange dream!” Kevin mumbled as he stretched, opened his eyes, and let out a loud yawn. His blonde hair was sprawled all over the place, but then again, it was in his hair’s nature to be spiky and organized in an interesting way. The Sea Guard captain himself was still sprawled messily on his bed. Whatever foreboding impending sense of worry that the dream had caused Kevin melted away as he reminded himself of the day’s upcoming events.
What a day for the lord to be missing from the town! Today was the semiannual equinox festival, and according to High Guard captain Allen, Lord Thomas should be present. He said that Thomas promised to make a brief appearance after Allen had caught the lord trying to leave early. Chronopolis was on its way to recovering from the depression from the last few years. Kevin wasn’t too great at understanding the whole theory of economics besides knowing what was good and bad. He was a seafaring man, and thus, his expertise was with the ocean. “Pirate captain of the seven seas,” Kevin yawned as he dressed himself into his usual guise and then walked out of his room in the castle.
Despite the festival, the military still had patrol shifts. Kevin wished it were otherwise, but it was useless to leave a town completely vulnerable to attack. However, Chronopolis was just a city. There was no reason for anyone to attack it. At least, those were his thoughts. Chronopolis had been attacked before by Eurosia.
The infantry captain, Adam was probably going to be drunk again today. Kevin chuckled as he recalled the time that Adam had drunkenly challenged Lord Thomas to a drinking match. To everyone’s surprise, Thomas agreed just that time. However, after two bottles, Thomas had decided that they were wasting precious resources and should not be drinking so gluttonously in a depression where everyone was suffering. Kevin wondered if there was another reason. Anyhow, Adam had swung a few punches at Thomas, who had blocked them. The punches were well timed and precise. Then again, alcohol never dulled Adam’s fighting prowess.
Kevin started his day by sneaking some food out of the castle kitchen and then making a round about parts of the city, namely the harbor area. There would be a swimming/boating contest there later in the day. The festival would have many other events such as a dunk tank, fighting and running tournaments, food fests and special pies, wood cutting tournaments to provide wood for the night bonfire…. A fun carnival.

Ian had been awake for about an hour before the sun reached into his modest room. A bed, a table and a small flip-lock chest. pulling on his usual hood and goggles he looked out the small window to see Captain Kevin wandering in the direction of the harbor. No wonder he's going there. It's more or less his natural habitat. Walking to the door Ian grabbed his bow and quiver and in a skillful movement unlocked the door, swung the door open and closed it without making any sound.
Stepping out into the inside of the Great Stone Walls Ian walked quickly to the nearest exit that came out onto the main street. I wonder if I can get my day off this month to be today but so will everybody else so I'd best hurry. More running that walking he sped down the mostly deserted streets to the Archery barracks in a faint hope that he would be lucky. Ten minutes later he was standing outside on his day off wondering what to do. There was an archery contest on at some point as well today and just for fun Ian decided he wuold try the wood chopping contest as well.

Hefting the last sack of flour into place, Zero called out "Alright! That's the last of it!" He then stood back, leaning agenst the side of the barn as he watched the horse pulled cart trott away with what seemed to be a weeks worth of his labor.
Shielding his eyes from the bright early morning sun, he looked across the fields. He spotted the windmill used to grind wheat, the farmhouse in which he slept, and beond that the vast city. With a heavy sigh, he began his long walk through the tall fields of wheat.
Arriving at the windmill, a massive tower that dwarfed the nearby farmhouse, he immediately began to climb. Using the jutting rocks and supports as handholds, Zero flew up the side of the mill with the agility of an ape. Uppon reaching the top, he sat on the lip of the roof, exausted from his climb. From up here he could see over the wall into the inner city. He watched as colorfull tents were erected, huge ovens at work baking foods in vast quantities, stages and platforms being built, all for the day's festival. I wish I could go... Zero thought, and he spent a while on his perch, just daydreaming...
