Information

Welcome to my event, based on Shakespere's play, The Tempest. All characters here are based on those in the play and will count as cosplays. There is a bit of information for this event located below, and if you don't see an answer to a question you may have, please post it here in this thread with a quote for me.

FAQ

Q) Since these are cosplays, do we have to know a lot about The Tempest?
A) Not at all! It might be a good idea to look over the wikipedia page to get to know the characters and what's going on a little bit better! There are some characters who are related to each other, and some who are in love, but I'm not expecting anyone to be an expert. And yes, if you do win one you can RP them as you like, since they are your pet after all!

Q) Can we win more than one?
A) Sadly no! Sorry guys, want to spread the love here.

Q) Why are Prospera and Gonzala ladies? Aren't they dudes in the actual play?
A) Yeah, they usually are dudes. The thing that spurred this event was seeing The Tempest, and in the production I saw, they were ladies. Hense, ladies. ((Plus there's such a lack of female characters who appear in the play, it brings a bit more balance to it all.))

Q) Who all is related?
A) Prospera and Antonio are brother and sister, and Miranda is Prospera's daughter. Sebastian and Alonzo are brothers, and Ferdinand is Alonzo's son. Everyone else has no relation!

Since the drinking game is where you are out when you don't beat the number, does that mean anyone who missed the first roll can't play?

You actually have to roll lower than the number to win, but yes. That's why I left it open a few hours longer today and posted a reminder in thread.
