We were so happy when the royal pair came to us and asked for assistance in their choosing a venue as well as all the other smatterings of their desired wedding and though we had a few definitive hitches, well we managed to get it all sorted out.
First we had to choose a lovely venue, and while they had SO many suggestions, we decided on this one:
The reception held outside decorated in lovely greens as requested by Lord Ferdinand, to reflect where he met her in the world so lovely. (of course it's a sample of another venue we did, but you get the idea.)
A lovely center piece for privacy of dining when the reception is winding down and they're looking for a little more of an intimate atmosphere.
So lovely, again, coloring will be more like those island wildflowers that are a reminder of how they met. So festive. And entirely regal.
Now I adore classic Naples culture, and we urged Miranda to find something that was culturally in for the times, but totally her. I kinda thought of her as the wild child that would have a barefoot bride kind of vibe. Ferdinand tried to argue, but it's her wedding day as well as a nation gaining a princess, there's gotta be some concessions to let Miranda have her roots be known! Finally after a little fussing we got an agreement on this lovely dress:

Of course we had to come to an agreement over Ferdinand's clothing as well, and that was fairly simple. With the royal wedding and tradition, he chose a simple outfit designed to be useful, even after the wedding:

Now while we were discussing the time of day, as well as the invitations, Miranda pulled us aside and asked us to design a floral cake, that reflected Ferdinand's eyes as she was feeling very treasured by all the desires for her home and the world she grew up in to be represented that she wanted the smallest detail of him to be curled into this lovely wedding as well, because in her mind it was truly, a melding of two souls.
We were so taken aback by her quiet request that we had to fulfill it to our best capabilities. something simplistic. Something darling, something that gave a sense of the fragility and the strength they shared to become one and unite in this kingdom. Our hearts lead us to this beautiful design:

His eyes reflected in the color, and fluttering happiness that blesses them both.
Now with all the planning and the sprites and fairies and even a god that would be attending we made every necessary arrangement we could from the food to the entertainment. It was a mad house, let me tell you, but it was all so very worthwhile to see it come together so elegantly in the end.
A truly, truly memorable day that delightfully ended in their honeymoon. Which was a surprise trip to a delightful little island, just for them:
