Kedric smiled at them, patting their heads. "Can I at least put my tools away before you start latching onto me, you monkeys?" he asked, shaking his head. Once the kids were away, he put the axe up in the cabin, and headed back to the group. "I was just thinking of lunch. You have perfect timing." He sat on a stump, and Alonz quickly climbed into his father's lap, grinning wide.

Iciera sighed and said, "Sometimes, I think I'm teaching a couple of walls. But, then again, they're a bit too young to comprehend history all together.. But I though that they would at least know some more intermediate magic spells by now. Children are always mystified by magic. And Rosie's gotten much better, but Alonz refuses to try..." She approached Firenze and kissed his lips. "How was work?"

Firenze kissed his wife in return and shrugged his shoulders, "Things have been fine here. Though not as busy as we would like. I'm not sure what has been happening, but not as many people need our wood like they used to. So we will be home by dinner. If not earlier." He put one hands on his wife's leg, squeezing it gently while stroking Rosie's hair. "So it is both a good thing and a bad thing."

Rosie smiled as they all talked. She was eating her peanut butter and jelly sandwich, and enjoying every bite. She smiled as she sat next to Alonz as she loved him very much. She didn't mind if they were like siblings, but never dreamed that he would be her first love one day. She was too young to think about it anyway. "So how's auntie Uncle Kedric?" Rosie asked smiling happily.

Firenze nodded his head with a small smile as he listened to the others talk for a little while. Then he spoke up a little after Alonz's comments, "Well actually, I might be able to help you train them this afternoon. Since we have no more orders for the day."

Iciera looked down at Rosie, then smiled and said, "Mama has something to scout out for. And when I'm done, I'll probably pick up Wanda and prepare dinner. I figured it'd be best for all of us to eat together." She looked over at Firenze. "Is it always so slow in the summer?"

Alonz grinned as he started to play wrestle with Kedric, with Kedric pretending to be overpowered by the six-year-old. Alonz loved to play with his father, as it helped him release some energy and made him stronger. Despite his strength and aggression, Alonz was a gentle child, and never harmed girls, like Kedric had taught him. Whenever he wrestled with Rosie, he made sure to not hurt her with his strength.

Rosie smiled as she thought about it. "Play!" she said excitedly. She loved playing with her daddy, best friend, and 'uncle'. Rosie knew Kedric wasn't her real uncle, but he had been around since she was born. She loved when she and Alonz would gang up on their fathers as they always seemed to win even though they were not as strong as their fathers were.
