Below is the form you will need to fill out if you would like the chance for your character(s) to Impress a dragon in the next hatching. If you do not fill out a form we will assume that you do not want your character to Impress at a given hatching. Stands Impressions are a possibility but are not especially common (as IC dragons will notice the candidates on the Sands first and choose from amongst them if any are suitable matches).
Please post this form here. If you have purchased a custom hatchling from the marks shop you do not need to fill out a form but will need to contact staff with the details of your desired hatchling for approval. If you have bought a guaranteed Impression please do fill out and submit the following form but please note in your post that you have bought the guarantee, just in case we forgot!
These sign-ups will be open until at least the 1st May at 23:59 GMT, possibly a little longer <3
Candidate name:
Link to approved profile:
Personality summary in about 10 words:
Will your character be on the Sands?: (Put Yes for an eligible candidate and put No if your character is either a candidate not yet ready to Stand or another character type watching the hatching)
Are you game for Horrible Consequences?: Yes! I am game for consequences that might mean my candidate will never take up active duty / Yes! I am game for consequences that may temporarily incapacitate my candidate / Yes, but nothing too major please / No, please leave my poor candidate alone! / [Insert similar statement here!] (Sometimes bad things happen in hatchings. Sometimes they are very bad things indeed. Saying ‘yes’ doesn’t mean something terrible will happen, just that it might. ICC still applies here so if your candidate punches a hatching in the face they will get mauled even if you asked for them to be left alone, but if your candidate does something that would result in them being crippled or killed we will contact you and give you a chance to take back the action.)
Personality traits not desired in a dragon: (Leave this blank if there are no traits you would really hate for your candidate’s dragon to have. Bear in mind that the more you do list the lower your chances of Impression for a given hatching are.)
Colour not desired: (This section is mainly designed to allow you to avoid getting a male dragon for somebody you would only want a female for or vice versa. It is also intended to allow you to opt out of golds if you do not want your character barred from an action-based role, or both golds and bronzes if you want to avoid a metallic. This means that ‘No green or gold please’ or even something like ‘Please no males or golds’ is an easy enough ask - though any restriction will lower your chances of Impression - but stating something like ‘No green or blue’ or ‘No green, blue, or brown’ is a very good way to ensure it takes a long time for your candidate to Impress; greens and blues make up 80% of all dragons and the chromatics between them account for 95% of dragons. You are completely free to do this, no judgement is being made, but we just want you to know that stating you only want bronzes doesn’t give you precedence over others for a bronze hatchling; you might be better off going through the marks shop!)
Anything else?: (If there’s something you really really want feel free to say here, for example ‘I’d really like an intelligent dragon, I’m happy to wait until a smart dragon that fits my character comes along.’ or ‘I’d love a blue for this candidate!’ ‘I think I would like a brown, but anything would be fine.’ Again, stating things you want here may mean it takes longer for your character to Impress, and if you only state a mild preference we may not abide by it, but if you don’t mind waiting for the perfect partner to come along feel free to put stuff here.)
