Destiny blinked as the owl landed on the table beside her she peered at curiously before carefully holding out her hand and lightly stroked the owl on the head. "Aren't you a little acrobat" she said with a smile and glanced at Liam "what about your mother?" she asked him trying to encourage him to finish what he was saying before he got distracted by Argyros.

The silver owl swiveled it's head to blink its eyes at Liam and then hooted softly when Desi started stroking it's head.
Liam couldn't help but smile. "I think you found his favorite spot." He told her.
He blinked when Destiny brought up his mother. "Oh right, well you see my mom gets kind of protective of her sons. When my brothers started getting serious girlfriends, she made a point of having them come visit for a few weeks in the summer to check out how serious the girls were. My brothers ended up losing those first girlfriends they brought home, not that it wasn't a bad thing. Some of those girls were bad news.
So my thinking is she's going to be testing you, since I've been telling her so much about you and all. I am confident though that you'd probably pass anything she throws at you. You're a lot tougher than those other girls were."

Destiny nodded her head slowly "I see...it will definitely be an interesting summer of trials" she told him and stood up. "We should probably get Argyros to the owlery so he can get settled in" she told him, stretching a little.
The silver owl flew up to her shoulder as if getting the cue that it was time for him to get settled in and perched comfortably.
