Of course, it was a text, but he was able to use his voice reader to vocalize it, so he could listen to what it said. He quirked an eyebrow. Deciding to just send a voice message -- maybe he'd call him later, once he was out of the cave and had better reception -- Jay lifted the messenger up, and pressed record. "What, you don' feel like havin' yer as handed t'yew bai four powerful trainers'n some champ'n? I'm ashamed, Sebs." His voice carried the sarcastic amusement well. "But, I dunno. Yew were int'rested 'n contests, right? Maybe check 'em out? Start on anuther region? New team? Could check out... Rangerin', I think. Heard that's... uh thing. 'N uh... I dunno, sight see 'n such? Where yew at, anywho?" He hit end, and sent the message, before lowering his hand. His Larverra skittered on his shoulder, hanging off onto his back, but propped on his bag a bit as it chittered curiously. He reached up and gently rubbed it, smiling as he fingered one of its fluffy ears. It was... sure weird feeling. Pretty friendly though, now that it had settled down. Maybe a little too much; even Mimey had been caught offguard when it suddenly started cuddling her right after he'd caught it, and re-released it.

Coming up on the entrance of the cave, Apollo couldn't help but to make a face. Caves usually meant Zubats, and he wasn't in the mood to deal with them -- he wasn't in the mood to deal with much, actually. But, this was the only way forward. His pokemon, finding no issue in the new area they'd be passing through, led the way inside leaving their trainer to pick up his feet in an attempt to catch up with them. All three couldn't help but to look around in awe, the further they traveled, as a blue glow ebbed softly from the various stones embedded in the walls. It was certainly a step up from the usual caves -- not that Apollo had been in many, he reflected on -- and provided a sense of serenity and peace.

Even with its otherworldly appearance, Chargestone cave still held the same dangers as any other caves. A fact that Apollo was reminded of, and rather quickly at that, when a barbed egg came barreling their way. The trainer was quick to pull out his pokedex and scan the pokemon for its actual name, once he'd stepped out of harm's way, before swallowing back a sigh. Ferroseed, right. Grass and Steel; a fire type would work wonders against it. But, at the moment, the only pokemon he had on him capable of using such an attack was |20+0|/|, and he wanted to concentrate on Eris and Ceti for the moment. Besides, he couldn't always rely on type advantages.

Though, speaking of fire types... Apollo couldn't help but wonder how Mila was doing, and he continued wondering as he healed Ceti's wounds then motioned for the two pokemon to continue moving. It'd only been a few hours since they'd departed, and while he wasn't exactly worried about the Delphox -- she was strong enough to care for herself, for a little while at least -- he was curious as to what it was she was up to. They had no way of communicating, a slip-up of his own decision, so there was no way of truly knowing. But... this was just another reason why he needed to move faster, and make his trip as quick as possible.
