Word Count: 1294 + 91 = 1385

This time, too, she reacted more than acted according to strategy as survival instincts kicked in and muscle memory took over. Her reaction this time was less of last minute self preservation and more a mix of sharper defensive and offensive though. She moved back with the direction of the tackle to lessen the force of any impact should she fail to avoid being hit and upon landing couched solidly so as to spring back at Bell with a swiveling tackle of her own that brought her side against her foe.

(( *Is Fluffed* Why, Thank you. ^-^ ))
~"We are the silence within the silence.
Our eyes are the eyes of history.
Our words are the words of the ages." ~

The silent feathers of a unseen onlooker, shifted ever so carefully to a folded close, on a mysterious' tan Tahtll back. Teal eyes peered though the eyes of a white and gold mask; crucible of his sworn solace. A dark ear turn and twisted to the sounds around him, a gentle whisper floated though the air and cradled his thoughts. Reassuring him that he was indeed undetected.

-'Nais tuke, Devel...'- Was gently whispered through his unspoken thoughts, as a quiet breath released past the nostrils of the binding mask.

Teal eyes focused on two Nahtil of the Fire Arena. The Chronicler, focused and listened carefully. From past travels the Tahtll had seen such a place for such a 'sport' before, and had heard whispers of a place for friendly combat. A place for other B'alam to test their mettle against each other. This however was the first time the Tahtll had been able to witness the event with his own two eyes. Covertly.

Just as always...

Another dark ear shifted and flicked quietly to what felt like a gentle tickle to his ear.

A simple sigh answered the whisper, as his Tahtll's thoughts quietly whispered...

-'Sako peskero charo dikhel...'-

It was true, other B'alam only seemed to see what was in front of them and only focus what they where dealing with, what not others had on their own plate.

That however was not the job of a Chronicler, they where the eyes of history. The world and it's events rested on their plate, for Burden was heavy, the work was plenty, and the workers where few....

The Tahll's head dipped a little as if something flicked him on the back of his head. Brown ears quickly flicked back. Perhaps such a comment was too prideful and 'all-knowing in all his' ways...

-' Barearav, Devel. Bater...' The Chronicler murmured in his thoughts, at the respite he was wordlessly given.

A gentle breeze caressed though his wings, as if to comfort him and reassure him everything was alright.

Eyes once more focused upon the two in the arena, they started in their bout. The two Nahtil seemed to be getting alone quite well, considering that they where 'fighting'.

At any case, work was to be done....

Wasn't there?

Yes, yes...

Tan paws shifted and hunches silently lowered himself to a sit behind the rock that shielded him from the sight of the two nahtil. The satchel that was carefully draped around his neck seemed to open from the guidance of two unseen paws. A curious item floated from the pack and drifted to the side, it was narrow and that in likeness of dark feather. Soon a thick binding of ridge cloth and leather slipped past the protection of the bag as well. A square bottle, capped by a cork swilled with a dark liquid, it was finis to reveal it's self.

The leather binding was carefully rested on the ground. Bottle was uncorked, and was carefully set beside the bound companion, that opened gently with the mindful flick of the author's thoughts. The used and marked pages where easily separated by the obvious use of ware. Darker and shifted from pressed place, they where muddied and scored with written history....

Teal eyes looked over the items fondly, taking in the memories that they still naively carried. A content sigh left the writer as he pulling them away to record more of what he saw; to witness and be testament to the scene before him.

As eyes pulled themselves away from the text the quill of the dark feather quickly started to jostle down what the Chronicler saw though the eyes of the mask. The words spoken, and the actions chosen between the two Nahtils.

First however a setting needed to be woven into words.

~'In the dry desolate in the land of sulfur in ash, a eruption of fire and magma boom into the air. The sound and clash of energy that was the air, could only be challenged by the sheer power that was displayed between the two combatants of light and fire.

Their battle ground, though rough and ragged was an even one, for it was paved by the respect given to each other...'~

Hmm it seemed like a fair start...

the Tahtll concluded with a titled of his head, his eyes took a glance at the ink as it dried on the cloth of the pages. The writing was carefully, and neat on the page. It was practiced and perfect. It had to be, so that others, that could, would be able to read it easily.

This tale was one that would be read by others though the ages, and with the will of the Weaver out last even His servant's time on B'alam.

Tail turned and shifted in private thought as he looked up to hear the clashes that where exchanged between the two Nahtils. They where both spirited, or well he thought, if he could have an opinion of the battle before him. After all, his writing was to be only filled with careful description and without bias. Such a thing would only be the reader's destiny and job to decide.

~'The combatants where sisters in determination, as if either where just as the rushing waves of a tide that racing to be first on shore. Their power were on par with each other, as level of that of a roar of flame, that belonged to a mighty fiery mountain.

...Horns birthed in Magma, challenged the barer of orb and light; her scales illuminated in the glow fight...'~

Teal eyes looked up once more to the battle and waited for the conclusion of it's entirety, tail shifted quietly in the dust of rock, as ears perked to keep with the sound.

Excitement filled the air, enough to cause one who favored one or the other would cry out. However the Chronicler remained silent, Strict and diligent to his duty.

Bellatrix defending
8/10

WC: 1294 + 148 = 1442

Bell had to admit, she was taken by surprise as her opponent leap towards her, for the briefest of moments she had looked away. She staggered backwards in her surprise, allowing herself to take the force of the hit as she toppled over.

It hadn't hurt her overly bad, but by now Bell was starting to feel the first ping of exhaustion, the adrenaline from the beginning of the fight now starting to fade.

But it wasn't completely gone yet.

She attempted to quickly slide away from Evartene as she landed on the ground with a thud, curling her tail closer to her and attempting to bundle up in a way, leaving only her neck, face and scales to be reached.

The key word here was attempt, she hadn't even dragged her tail close to her yet, but Bell was hoping she'd be able to work fast enough...

Evartene Attacking
HitPoints: 9/10

Word Count: 1385 + 170 = 1555

Every movement she made during this fight cost energy but it was a price she was certainly willing to pay. This was a truly memorable match for her already and it was far from over. Likewise, despite the toll of her spending being evident in her more deeply taken breaths and her taking some time at this point to slow down a bit so as not to go overboard and burn out sooner than making it to the end of the brawl, she was still raring to brawl on with her formidable opposition in this match. In a calculated maneuver her mind cooked up impromptu again, she made an effort to put enough force at a push with her side against her foe's own side to just break through the shield Bell was getting together. Perhaps she might even succeed with this move to push Bell off balance in the present position so as to shake some control for a number of moments if she had given it enough strength.
