They'd hit a dead end, so Cesc turned can toward the previous pathway as he spoke. "Do not worry over it. It's better to be bad at this stuff than good, I think."

Trying to find some way to help, Ian backtracked and took another way, peering through the dark and the fog to try and see anything coming before it surprised them. He noticed a strange lump on the ground, but as they drew closer it became clear that it was another bundle of supplies. Finally, something good! "I wonder if it's more candy?"

Cesc bent down. It seemed like Ian had, indeed, found another stash of candy. He furrowed his brow as he picked up the first item his hand came in contact with -- this one was a Snickers, fun size. He blinked and put it in his pocket with the Milky Way.
"Alright," he said, considering. "I guess we are... trick or treating."

Justin poked around in the box. Plastic crinkled invitingly under his fingers and he pulled out yet another saccharine delight. Well, it was a delight if you liked over-processed chcoolate cake. Justin did. He held it aloft and arched a brow at his compatriotes.
"First a twinkie, now a dingdong? What's next - a hoho?"

Ian bent down to dig through the pile as well, and when he felt a familiar papery wrapper crinkle beneath his fingers he paused, lifting the piece of candy up to look at it. "A snickers? Man, it's so tiny..." He didn't seem altogether pleased, although any help was appreciated help, he supposed. He pocketed it with the small package of skittles from the last supplies bundle, standing up and glancing down the path. "Shall we continue, then?"

Cesc bent to lift the box, looking inside for more candy. Instead, he found... a small round box of push-pins? They had little jack-o-lantern faces, still thematically appropriate, but definitely not what the stag had expected.

Another box, another weird supply. Maybe it would be another delicious thing. Like cupcakes! Justin fished around... and touched nothing soft. Instead, he pulled out a singular paperclip. It was bright green and small enough that luckily, it'd be easy to swallow.
"Are you ********' serious. Where's that fairy?"

Ian chuckled softly when they ran into the next box of supplies, this time apparently office supplies. How were these supposed to help? He knelt to dig around in the pile, pulling out a roll of particularly festive washi tape that got looped around his fingers. "This stuff just keeps getting weirder, doesn't it?" He stood and sighed, offering a small pat on the back to Justin and a hopeful smile to Cesc. They didn't seem to be regretting their partnership, which he was thankful for. He hoped that he might be of more use if they encountered any more foes...

Office supplies in tow, Justin chose a path at random, hoping he wouldn't end up facing another giant. Luckily, it was a dead end.

Cesc sighed as they faced another dead end. He managed to keep a smile on his face, but it was fast becoming wry. Why was the hedge maze always such a pain in the a**? And why did he keep going into it?
He offered a look of encouragement to his teammates. He was happy to at least meet some new people...
"This is getting weirder. I wonder if there's something we're supposed to be doing to get to the end...?"
