Well they're not really that close to be honest. They just got close on the trip. sweatdrop So maybe that's why. But I was thinking the same thing.

Yeah we're hanging out before the party too. I'm not looking for a relationship, just something stupid. There's so many drunk photos of us circulating around our friend group.

Woah! For any of those interested, this story ending in a ******** explosion. While I won't be able to write in such great depth (since this was 2 years ago) I still remember it pretty well.

Saturday night rolls around and the gang is super happy to see each other again. We basically became a family over the trip and it was odd being thrown back into high school immediately afterwards...essentially we felt at home together. My ex didn't come.
We begin drinking and smoking the ganja...this was one of the first nights I had ever gotten high I'm pretty sure. My friend worked me through ripping from a bong(first thing I ever smoked out of). Apparently I was an instant pro.
So beer pong happens, funny shows happen, I play with a cute ******** dog, night is going great. Tyler and I decide to team up for beer pong and I suck because I'm new to this scene. They all teach me how to play properly and by the end of the night I'm kicking a**.
Hours fly by and Tyler and I end up on a very large recliner chair together. We're laughing and generally being stupid...he's very heavily flirting with me and at this point the allure of Paris is beginning to fade. I'm realizing I'm not actually that into him, but feel kinda shitty for leading him on so long.
I try to remind myself what I liked about him...he's still the same funny guy...but now I'm realizing he's a bit too clingy. He's feeling my legs up and it just doesn't feel comfortable anymore. I'm also very aware how cross faded I am and I don't think he is quite as messed up as I am.
I go to hang out with my other friends who I've known for much longer and explain how I feel. They say they'll cover for me and we're all chillin together. Life is good again. But Tyler is still too clingy, and he keeps following me. I'm realizing I'm not as comfortable here as I thought I was.
I end up calling my mom and asking her to pick me up as soon as possible. I don't have the patience to feel that way...I don't regret the night, I just wanted it to be over.
The party was subsiding anyways.
So my mom shows up and I say goodbye to everyone. It feels natural. I don't realize but Tyler follows me out to the door where he tries to give me his own goodbye. I hug him and say I'm going home -- at this point I'm clearly more messed up than he is. He grabs me and says I've been leading him on for too long, that I owe him something back. He starts kissing me and I push him off, growling something along the lines of "what the ******** is wrong with you?" between gritted teeth.
He pushes himself back onto me and tries to hold me against the wall while kissing me. This is actually disgusting me but I don't want to scare people in the other room so I make a show of force. I throw his wrists to the side and, i'm angry and can't help myself, punch him in the face. He falls backwards onto the ground cursing at me for being a b***h. I have nothing left to say to him so I storm out, still a little shaken.

I get into the car with my mom and she asks how it went. "I'm glad it's over."

I don't think people like that change... atleast in MY experience they don't, but hey you never know. I had a friend like that once where he was super clingy to his girlfriend and whatever, but he had anger issues and I didn't know the full story but they broke up during the 2 years I hadn't talk to him. He came over and we talked about it, I told him to just move on, try to go to school or better himself and think about how to just live his own life and ect ect. He seemed bent on believing that it was all her fault and that she was a b***h but from what he was telling me and what she was telling me, it sounded like he was the problem....so....yeah I didn't feel bad about being friends with benefits with his ex.

Last I heard from him, he was living on the streets and is some religious weirdo.
