Some of you may have received a PM from someone called "The Welcoming Fairy", who bids you welcome to Gaia and offers a 10k (some reports say 3k) donation of gold to you.

Do not be alarmed even if you've been on this site for years; she is a legitimate NPC. She is newly made for the purpose of welcoming newcomers to the site. Princess Angelisha mentions it right here.

That explains why I got a message from her. I honestly thought it was a glitch or something since I've been on gaia for at least 3 or 4 years. I didn't report her or get my gold, it wouldn't let me, but it was nice gaia made an NPC for new users.
