Captain Question Time
Due to my heavy University workload this year, it has appeared that I have been neglecting the guild and I, as the captain, want to rectify this. So, in an attempt somehow split my attention between school work and the guild; I have decided to open up some time from my schedule to take part in what I like to call: Captain Question Time.
So, how's this going to work? It's simple really and I mean, really simple; I will send out a Guild Announcement telling everyone when Captain Question time is going to open and when it will in turn close. Whether you are a Mod or a Member, you will all be treated the same, like it or not and you will only be allowed to post your questions or requests to me once I have posted in the Captain Question Time topic that it is open. Once it is closed, I will finish up all requests and questions that have been asked within the allotted time and then log out of Gaia completely to once again settle back down to University work. If you miss out you miss out and that is that.
In accordance with the fact I need to send Guild announcements to prepare everyone for Captain Question Time, all Moderators are asked to contact me [Roxas] before sending out Guild Announcements and please prioritize whether or not your announcement is important. If you need to announce that it's your birthday, for example, don't even bother coming to me with that because I may just demote you straight away to member for your own idiocy. However, if it is important like say; you have a village event you wish to broadcast, I will find another way in which to announce the coming of Captain Question Time.
Personally though, if you have the time to be sending guild announcements or talking to me about them; you also have time to moderate, which not many of you are doing at the moment. With the exception of Myself [Roxas], Grogan and for some-part IGmangachick all other moderators have not given me or the guild any reason to believe you are otherwise unable to moderate. So please do. If you cannot, please announce it in the Member Absence Thread or OOC or if you're a Kage your own village announcement thread. That way, we know you're away and we will get off your back.
Now back to business and serious business at that. There are two things about Captain Question Time that you all aught to know. The first thing is that it will operate on GMT time. GMT is Greenwich Mean Time and the Timezone for the United Kingdom, in which I live, therefore please be aware of the timezone differences and because I cannot know what timezone EVERYONE in this guild could possibly live in that is YOUR responsibility. I will say it again in bold underlined font, capital letters and in a line of its own:
IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO KNOW THE TIME DIFFERENCE BETWEEN YOUR OWN TIMEZONE AND GREENWICH MEAN TIME.
The second and most personal of the two things you need to know is this; because I am doing this out of the goodness of my heart and off my own back and sacrificing my own PERSONAL TIME when I should be: taking a break from studying, hanging out with my family, trying to get just that little bit more work done, playing video games, talking to my girlfriend, talking to my friends, getting some sleep etc etc. There are certain things that I AM NOT asking you but I AM telling you. Actually hell no, I am DEMANDING from you in order to make this work. I mean, I don't have to do this. Hell, I could even close the guild down if I wanted to but that is not what I want. I love WotS. I love the friends I have come to make through WotS. So please, let's just take this easy.
My list of demands is as follows, and yes, before anyone says I know it sounds kidnapper/ terrorist-y but you know what? Sometimes you have to go big to get the small things right.
I, Uchiha Roxas Captain of WotS, hereby demand these things from anyone taking part in Captain Question Time and reserve the right to punish/ ignore anyone whom ignores these demands:
1. RESPECT. All the things I am about to list could possibly end up in this category however, I thought I would break it down for you. By respect, I mean the attitude in which you address me and this topic, this forum, hell even this guild. You will be respectful with no swearing, no moaning, no bitching, no flamming and no selfishness. If not, forget it, I will do NOTHING for you.
2. NO SPAMMING. You get ONE [1] question or request no more no less. You cannot edit nor change your request once it has been accepted. You must also quote me to give me the notice. Once I see that notice and accept that request I will quote you saying that it has been accepted and that's it. No more, no less, done. If this demand is not done, then NOTHING shall be done for you.
3. NO GIFS. You put a GIF in this thread. Even one. I swear down. I will REMOVE you from the guild. This is a serious thread, I'm trying to get stuff done. Don't waste my time.
4. PATIENCE. Remember it is my own personal time, things may come up or maybe even a certain request is taking a lot longer to be processed than others. So, I demand your patience. Like I said, if the request was accepted, it will be done.
5. NO ARGUING. What's done is done. Arguing will result in a WARNING further arguing will result in REMOVAL.
6. WAIT UNTIL I POST IN THIS THREAD THAT CAPTAIN QUESTION TIME IS OPEN. Wait until I post that Captain Question Time is OPEN before posting your requests. Any Requests posted before said post will be ignored and if resubmitted, done last.
7. READ ALL OF THIS POST. Read this top post it's important. Failure to do so will probably end in a WARNING
8. AND FINALLY, I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO ADD, EDIT, REMOVE DETAILS FROM THIS POST AS WELL AS DECLINE ANY REQUESTS I DEEM UNREASONABLE, TOO TRIVIAL, FROM ANNOYING CLIENTS, IF I HAVE TOO MUCH ON, IF YOU'VE HAD TOO MANY REQUESTS DONE IN THE PAST ETC ETC.
