Username: What Rank are you applying for?: Chuunin/Jounin What do you believe personally is the role of a Shinobi of your desired Rank? I believe that the role of the Jounin is to train the genin of the village in order to help them achieve their fullest potential. In addition, I believe that one of the Jounin's top priorities is to ensure the village's safety.
RP Sample: Uruki reached the area designated in his mission; a small town near the border of the Land of Water. The reasoning behind it was unknown to Uruki, but a mercenary was hired by a rivaling nation to take out the official; Uruki was to eliminate the mercenary and ensure the official's safety. The first phase of the mission was to secure the official's home. Because the building was so large, planning of traps was limited to the official's bedroom. There was only one door into the bedroom, and two windows. Uruki devised a plan to trap the mercenary. He rigged containers of water concealed above the windows and door. To ensure the safety of as many as possible, Uruki asked that the official’s guards not be present at the house that night. The town was quiet as night crept over the cloudy sky. There was not a sound about except for a faint breeze. A masked shinobi appeared in the window of the bedroom. Silently, the shinobi stepped into the room and stood before the official’s bed. Removing a kunai from his pack, he made a swift cut to the throat and made a surprising discovery. It was a fake. In an instant, the containers were released from their resting places and broke on the floor, leaving puddles of water. “Ice Release: Ice Prison Technique!” The door and windows became covered in a wall of thick ice. The shinobi was trapped. Uruki came out from the shadows of the room and, drawing a kunai, lunged at the shinobi. Flickers of spark lit up the room as Uruki and the shinobi clashed in heated combat. Uruki swung his kunai and, as it was blocked, swept his leg, throwing the shinobi off his feet. Coming down at the shinobi with his kunai, Uruki’s strike was avoided, his kunai sticking into the floorboard. The shinobi swung at Uruki’s neck. Uruki avoided the swing, landing on the ground neck to his kunai and performed a sweeping kick, hitting the kunai in the direction of the shinobi as Uruki came up from the kick. The two were equally matched in taijutsu and would not be able to end this battle with taijutsu alone. As the shinobi threw a strike at Uruki, Uruki blocked the attack and, grabbing the shinobi at the wrist, held his arm up and delivered a powerful blow with his elbow into the shinobi’s stomach. Reeling back, the shinobi then performed a series of hand signs and drew lightning to his palm. In an instant, the shinobi dashed at one of the ice-encased windows and shattered it, retreating from the building. Uruki followed the shinobi in pursuit to the rice patties at the edge of the town. The two stood, facing each other. The clouds had cleared to reveal the full moon, illuminating the water as it reflected on its surface. The shinobi made a hand sign as he drew a kunai; the kunai then became encased in lightning. Bolting at Uruki, the shinobi swung his kunai down at Uruki. As Uruki dodged the strike, the shinobi continued the motion of the swing until the kunai hit the water, sending currents of electricity toward Uruki. There was not enough time to efficiently counter the attack, and Uruki yelled out as the currents burned through his body. Staggering slightly, Uruki jumped over the shinobi, throwing shuriken as he arced. As Uruki neared the ground, the shinobi sent lightning currents through the water toward Uruki. Before hitting the ground, Uruki performed a combination of hand signs, thrusting his open palm toward the water. “Wind Release: Great Breakthrough!” A shockwave of wind shot the electrified water into the air, creating a circle of bare ground around Uruki. With another series of hand signs Uruki took in a large breath. “Wind Release: Air Bullets!” A cluster of condensed bullets of air shot at the shinobi, hitting him with great force. As the shinobi staggered from the attack, arms of water rose and wrapped themselves around the shinobi, immobilizing him. Uruki walked toward the shinobi until he stood before him, drawing a kunai. “I honor you as a fellow shinobi, but,” pausing briefly, Uruki touched his kunai to the shinobi’s chest over his heart, “this is where your path ends.” With the ring of his last word, Uruki sunk his kunai into the shinobi’s chest. The following morning the shinobi’s body was cleared out and the official was returned to his home. Uruki, well rested, set out for Kirigakure.
If you are applying for Jounin, can you be active enough to benefit your squad? I have 15 days of school left, so during that time my school work comes before anything else. With that said, once I finish up with school, I will be able to devote my time sufficiently to the greatest benefit of the squad.
If you are applying for Jounin, how will you get the best from your squad and how will you train them? I will assess the strengths, weaknesses, and any time conflicts of the squad members and, in turn, devise the most efficient way to train them.

Hey witty, sorry to step-on toes and what not but I was messaged by Wolf about his Jounin application and thought I'd bring it to your attention. I'm not going to accept/ deny him or anything I'm literally pointing at the application in order to draw your attention to it.
Sorry to be a pain.

I apologize, I didn't update the list in saying that the Jounin spot was filled. As a result, I'm going to have to deny you the spot. Many apologies.
