Chase's body leaned up against the window sill, she watched what looked like infinite shadows pouring from the sky. "These things aren't the strongest enemies I've ever faced, but...there are so many, and they have th obvious sky advantage." Chase thought about it for a while as she watched some students take up arms against the creatures while others ran for safety. "We've got to help them, Ryker! I won't hold you to anything, but I can't stand by when I KNOW I can do something about this!" Chase resolved to destroy every one of these things she came across. "You'll help too, won't you?"

Managing to find his room with little in the way of difficulty given the abundance of maps and signs framed along some of the hallways. Setting one suit case down to fish his room key out to unlock the door. He didn't expect to find anyone present though was ready to introduce himself all the same. Entering he'd dart his sharp brown hue's about while navigating over towards one of the beds that appeared the least used. Relinquishing a sigh of relief he'd stash both suit case's unopened under his bed before standing with an exaggerated stretch of his arms upward with his back straightening with a serious of audible pops. Rolling his head about slowly to loosen his neck up a bit he'd spot the package with his name on it along with a Gene-X Logo with 'Mind Control' printed next to it. What was his reasoning for checking that box instead of any of the other extraordinary choice's he'd been handed with brief explanations offered to a simple list of name's on a sheet of paper.

"Do I really want to control people's minds? Whose to say I'm better off to judge..."

It was an inner struggle of potential verse's morality. Youming didn't consider himself as moral as he was honourable which bridged a gap in the original concept of morality. He was a generally loyal, honest, easy going type of guy with his own sense of right and wrong that didn't always fit the social norm. Pocketing the package in his jacket for the time being he'd turn right back around to exit the room. He did his best thinking outside being active, and wanted to give the decision enough consideration before diving head first into something that would forever alter the rest of his life. He'd been warned about side effects which didn't hasten his process of evaluation he'd ponder while roaming the halls towards the entrance.

I've been dreaming as of late.....

It seemed the dire situation had passed and now Ryker was more focused on receiving this so called power the island had promised him when he got off that fateful boat. Luckily for him, it seemed the package he was waiting for was outside his dorm room, so quickly he scooped it up into his arms, ignoring the other person that walked into the room. Ryker then proceeded out of his room and down the hallway. He would inject this somewhere he felt right, and as of right now, he wasn't necessarily feeling the vibe of his own dorm. Maybe somewhere outside? No, it would be best to do it by the nurses office, that would be the smart move. If he injected himself with it and something happened, at least the medicine available to ease him through the process was available....or...at least he hoped so. So out he went, off into the night sky, preparing himself to stick a strange needle in his skin. Suddenly he wasn't feeling so.....intelligent.
