This thread will discuss the various Konaga Bloodline techniques which are referred to as 'Augmentations'. The entire basis of the augmentation is that Konaga are able to use their bloodline chakra to enervate and enhance their abilities by allowing their chakra to surge through their cells without resistance.
Feel free to educate yourself on the Konaga Bloodline itself [Here].

Chakra Force Rank: E-rank Type: Augmentation | Offensive Stamina Cost: 5 stamina per limb augmented Stamina Drain: Any use of this technique increases the Konaga's Stamina Drain by +1 for the next post. As with all augmentations, this increased stamina drain compounds until the user 'rests' for a post (makes a post where no Konaga Augmentations are used). Range: Melee
Description: The most basic of all Konaga augmentations, this is the first technique most clan members learn. Calling upon their bloodline ability, a Konaga can augment any limb, their chakra surging forth, engulfing the entire limb in a violent collection of chakra which pulses and crackles with destructive energy. When delivered as an attack, on contact, the augmented chakra explodes forth doing untold amounts of devastation to whatever it hits.
The strength of the overall attack increases with rank, but the type of damage it does is the same at all levels. This technique delivers pure, raw concussive force spread out over a wide area very similar to the type of damage an explosion tag would deliver and delivers a smoldering burn at the point of contact. At a Genin's level, the attack is enough to splinter and destroy large boulders, crush the bones of an opponent, or crater the earth below them with ease. The overall force delivered only increases with rank. (As a Genin, the force is approximately equal to that of a single explosion tag exploding at close range... by Jounin, this force is equivalent to 3 point blank explosion tags.)
Additional Details: - This augmentation can be used by more then one limb at a time
- With the limb engulfed in chakra, no force (such as that you would feel when punching through a boulder, or striking a hard surface) harms the user. Those forces are nullified by the chakra, which coats and protects the limb from all damage or any throwback from the attack itself.

Chakra Speed Rank: D-rank Type: Augmentation | Supplementary Stamina Cost: 5 stamina Stamina Drain: The following post, the user suffers an additional +2 stamina drain to their next post. As with all augmentations, this increased stamina drain compounds until the user 'rests' for a post (makes a post where no Konaga Augmentations are used). Range: Personal
Description: A more advanced form of augmentation, this techniques allows the user to turn their chakra inward, energizing their leg muscles to heightened levels. In this variant, the user floods their legs with their bloodline chakra, channeling it through their leg muscles to enervate and activate them to work beyond their normal capacity. This doubles the user's movement speed by doubling their effective passive and active bonuses for a single post. (This technique is often paired with other augmentations, allowing the user to close in quickly and then deliver a second augmentation, creating a devastating combo)

Chakra Strength Rank: D-rank Type: Augmentation | Supplementary Stamina Cost: 5 stamina Stamina Drain: The following post, the user suffers an additional +2 stamina drain to their next post. As with all augmentations, this increased stamina drain compounds until the user 'rests' for a post (makes a post where no Konaga Augmentations are used). Range: Personal
Description: A more advanced form of augmentation, this techniques allows the user to turn their chakra inward, energizing their arm muscles to heightened levels. In this variant, the user floods their arms with their bloodline chakra, channeling it through their muscles to enervate and activate them to work beyond their normal capacity. Used as a passive ability, this augmentation allows the user to perform incredible feats of strength such as lifting large boulders and tossing them, or uprooting trees with their arms alone and swinging them around.
If used as part of a Taijutsu strike however, this technique double's the user's active and passive bonuses for the post it is used in.

Chakra Blade Rank: C-rank Type: Augmentation | Supplementary Stamina Cost: 7 stamina per use Stamina Drain: Any ninjutsu or kenjutsu used in a post following the use of the Chakra Blade augmentation requires an additional 2 stamina to perform. Range: Melee (Weapon)
Description: As a Konaga's skill with their augmentations increases, so does their ability to control and mold their chakra for different uses. The Chakra Blade is the beginning of such mastery, where instead of engulfing their arms in raw chakra, they condense and mold their chakra into a focused entity. Using this ability allows the Konaga to create a 9 in. long blade of pure chakra from their hand. Creating a fist, the Konaga's hand is first engulfed with chakra which quickly condenses and molds into a blade which extends downward (as if holding a kunai/knife in a reverse grip).
Additional Details - The chakra blade can be maintained for up to two posts, but the user's fist must remain clenched for the entirety of the technique, or the chakra blade dissipates. (This disables the user from using any ninjutsu requiring both hands)
- As the blade is composed of pure, raw chakra, it is able to cut through nearly anything, wood, earth, metal, or flesh and bone with ease. However, it is a chakra based weapon, and there is nothing purely physical about it, it cannot be used to block objects such as kunai or shuriken, though it could easily slice them in half to throw them off trajectory.

Chakra Sight Rank: C-rank Type: Augmentation | Supplementary Stamina Cost: 5 stamina Stamina Drain: For two posts after the Chakra Sight is either deactivated or forcibly ended, the user's vision is hindered. On the first post, the augmented eye is completely blurred and the user suffers from an immense headache, increasing the stamina drain of that post by +1. In the next post, the eye can see, but is still watery and slightly blurred. (On each use, you increase your current Pain Stress by one degree until your eyesight is back to normal, at which point you return to the previous Pain Stress degree.) Range: Personal
Description: In this unique use of the Konaga bloodline, members of the clan are able to gain insight on other shinobi and can see the world in a unique way. By gathering the speckled particles of chakra which float in their irises, a Konaga is able to gather and enhance these particles to alter the way they see the world. Once the particles have gathered together to fill the entire iris of one eye, the particle's brightness suddenly intensifies and envelops the entirety of the iris and glows vibrantly.
Once activated, the user sees the world entirely as it appears in terms of chakra. Shinobi and others can easily be distinguished as large glowing balls of chakra and the Konaga is able to tell relative power levels of ever person they can see by how intensely they glow in this world. After a round of activation, the Konaga can even ascertain the user's primary elemental nature and can detect certain aspects of their chakra signatures. The outlines of objects, plants, and other features can be seen as extensions of residual or adjacent chakra bouncing off of them. The outlines of their edges accompanied with the voids in between give depth and shape to all objects around them.
Additional Details - This ability can only be activated in one eye at a time. The other eye is typically closed so that all the user can see is the world in terms of chakra. Otherwise, the split images between one eye and the other would be disorienting and confusing.
- This technique can only be used twice in each eye between meditation cycles. Any further use would likely burn out the eye's retina and make the user permanently blind in that eye.
- Each activation can be held for two posts maximum. After that, the particles in the eye dim and separate, returning to their normal free-floating state in the iris.

Firstly, I'd like to update them to the newer, universal format. Below is a customized base format for Konaga augmentations. Rank: (Rank of jutsu) Type: Augmentation | (Combat Use: Offensive, Defensive, or Supplementary) Stamina Cost: Stamina Drain: Range: {Remove if inapplicable.} Prerequisites: {Remove if inapplicable.} Description: (The description of the jutsu goes here)
If I missed anything, feel free to add it in. Edit: Added "Stamina Drain", since they all seem to include that as well.

Cobra_X Guildwide/Bloodline: Chakra Force
Rank: E-rank
Type: Konaga Bloodline Augmentation [Offensive]
Element: None (Pure Chakra)
Range: Melee
Description: The most basic of all Konaga augmentations, this is the first technique most clan members learn. Calling upon their bloodline ability, a Konaga can augment any limb, their chakra surging forth, engulfing the entire limb in a violent collection of chakra which pulses and crackles with destructive energy. - With the limb engulfed in chakra, no force (such as that you would feel when punching through a boulder, or striking a hard surface) harms the user. Those forces are nullified by the chakra, which coats and protects the limb from all damage or any throwback from the attack itself.
Stamina Cost: Requires 5 stamina (per limb) to use
Progressive Cost: If this technique is used twice in one post OR in back to back posts, it increases the Konaga's Stamina Drain by +1 for the next post. As with all augmentations, this increased stamina drain compounds until the user 'rests' for a post (makes a post where no Konaga Augmentations are used).
As a scaling technique, this needs a scaling cost, as well as a more clear explanation of damage dealt. As it mentions genin dealing damage equivalent to an explosive tag, that would be placed at about C rank damage, so calling it one rank above your strength should suffice there. ~ A note on the stamina drain bit, for ALL augmentations rather than just the one. A rest should be defined not as not using an augmentation, but as a full rest. Not attacking, defending, dodging, or whatever else in the entire post. As I see it the rest is meant to be a chance for the user to calm themselves a bit and relax. Something which won't happen just from not using a particular style of techniques, if you're still fighting. I'm unsure on this one, but it also seems like the stamina drain mentioned in most of these should be fact, not optional. I don't know if making it apply on every use would create too much of a drain, but it doesn't seem like it would, considering how much stamina you do have.

As it mentions Genin dealing damage equivalent to an explosive tag, that would be placed at about C rank damage, so calling it one rank above your strength should suffice there. So, as we discussed, as a Genin the strength of the attack would be equal to C-rank (like an explosive tag)...
Chuunin would be like 2 tags (AE-rank attack)
Jounin would be like 3 tags (AB-rank attack)Hinote Tosatsu A note on the stamina drain bit, for ALL augmentations rather than just the one. Something which won't happen just from not using a particular style of techniques, if you're still fighting. I don't know, that seems a bit restrictive... how often in a fight can you literally do nothing and not take major damage? You can say without making an attack... but I would argue they should still be able to defend or dodge, as long as it's not using a technique or chakra/stamina.

The values still need to be added directly to the description, including all ranks. Since it's an E rank tech, it needs an E rank value as well, in case we ever have academy students again, and an S rank value. Probably B as well. Going by the pattern, that would be four tags (SE) at S rank. Probably half a tag (E.5), or just D rank for E. B could be one and a half, or B.5.
And it still needs the scaled costs, or it doesn't really work. With the costs, also, one could use a weaker version than their rank (But never stronger.).
~
If we take the Jishaku fight as an example, every other post... Perhaps a compromise. Two full posts without offensive action, or one with no physical exertion at all equals a "Rest".
As mentioned before, details on technique related stamina drain could be included directly above the jutsu list for convenience, rather than having to mention it in every technique and take up unnecessary space.

I dont think it needs scaled cost... its just always the strength of your rank...
I want it mentioned separately so no one misses it... its too important to bury in other text areas.
As to the rest... you cant gimp it too much. I think one post of dedicated non-aggression, and no Konaga abilities used should suffice as "Rest"... odds are they are already suffering from some other drawback. Requiring 2 posts of that, or a post of only dedicated rest is too much to ask in combat.

Hinote Tosatsu Hikaro_rin So uhh... Going to finish with this? Eventually... Just been busy with other things. Alright, this needs to be moved and worked on in Cobra's vault or just elsewhere entirely if it's going to take this long to complete. It has no place being in the custom applications subforum.
