Akex looked at a tree and saw that there was a bird in the tree. As it had been a while since Alex had seen how well the Spearow listened he let it out of the ball and pointed towards the Pidgey. At first the Spearow just sat there and looked back and forth between Alex and the Pidgey but after Alex said, "Attack it," the bird flew up and started rapidly attacking the Pidgey so quickly that Alex couldn't see its head or beak. He looked at the pokedex and it said that it was using Furry Attack. At least it was listening...

Once the Pidgey fell to the ground Spearow started squawking at something in the tree. Alex stared at the bird until it stopped and flew towards him. It didn't look like it was going to slow down and Alex ducked as it flew right where his head was. seconds earlier. It turned and looked like it was going to try again but Alex was able to get it back in its pokeball before it could get close to him again. "Ok... Only let it out when there is something for it to fight."

Alex looked over to Blue. He was sparking."You have an electric attack now?" Alex asked happily almost bouncing up and down. Blue started sparking and had electricity visibly running along his back and Alex took that as a yes. "TIME FOR THE GYM!" Alex said as he started running for the town, but was stopped by a Rattata. "Lin!" Lin shot the Rattata with a water gun and blew it out of the way.

X  What a nice place to sit for awhile. He clasped his feet on a little tighter, maintaining a grip on the Cubone's skull helmet. Just a wispy pound of weight, even on the foot-something Cubone, Joltik was still tiny in comparison. Tired from his trek to check out the trainers who were visiting the lovely gym, the little bug hitched a ride on the first pokemon who exited out of the building.
Snoozing now, Joltik looked like a silly yellow fuzzy hat, or perhaps a crazy new hair-do that the Cubone was trying out.

Post: 21 The Shade would continue his walk. He'd probably want to get out of the area once he leveled up again. He wrapped his cape around him, morning breeze cold. The Cubone looked odd, receiving some strange looks from some wild Rattata and Sentret he passed. One of the Sentrets was crying about losing 'his love, Fear.' Then went on to say she rejected him because her trainer forced her too. Clicking his tounge in disdain, he remembered why he kept hate towards most humans. A few seemed nice enough but the rest, in his opinion, were parasites in this planet. Then, something landed on his head. It itched and so he moved his hand to scratch it.... X Heeheehee, that tickled. Joltik squirmed when he got poked in the side, waking from the little nap, and he opened all his eyes, looking around for who did it! Well, it must have been the Cubone that he was hitching a ride on. Joltik would have picked a larger pokemon but it had been a long day for the bug. And he wasn't picky.
He adjusted his legs, turning to face the hand that had bumped him, and he chirped with the giggles.

X "You're funny! The Joltik chirped and chittered in his soft, high-pitched voice, and laughed even more uncontrollably, childlike. Cubone was so funny that Joltik laughed until he slid off the bone skull, flipping onto his back and flailing his legs. "No fight me! I no hurt you. But how Cubone no fight with no bone-bone?"
Joltik righted himself quickly, mirth and happiness lighting up all four of his blue eyes until they shone like gems. He peered up at the HUGE Cubone. (Well, everything was huge to a four inch bug no bigger than a hamster.) He looked star-stricken, enamored that someone was paying attention to him.
"Are you strong?" He asked with awestruck wonder.

She'd probably be at the ruins! "Of course I am. I'm a super hero in training. Hey, I'm going to meet my friends, want to tag along?" he asked. It wasn't everyday somebody looked at him with amazement. Before, all the Cubones mocked him. But no more! "My name is The Shade.
