kefkadragon They definitely made cerberus weaker because of Hercules Disney and scribblenauts. I killed Cerberus with a pellet gun in 6 shots! Where is the logic in that. Cerberus is also half as tall as maxwell. Zombies are overused now to. Everything is made weaker in media. Heroes can't be heroic enough for the happy ending when facing a full-powered demigod, after all. Although such beings weren't infallible, as modern monotheistic religions make their powers out to be, people do seem to forget such creatures were more than just glorified beasts.

Still, it has been done so many times that people have forgotten the fear originally induced by said creatures. Now it's "oooh zombie, imma shot it now" same thing could be said of demons. All in all disney is evil.

The old monsters that used to haunt our nightmares have been taken place by real fears, things that don't go bump in the night. Instead these take us by the throat and squeeze, and there is no running from them. Things like cancer, AIDS, robberies, murder, corruption, it's piped into our homes all day every day through TV, radio, and the internet. Of course we'd look back at the past nightmares and laugh at them now. We just have scarier things to deal with. Also, with the advancement of technology, some of those 'unexplained' things are now common knowledge. We are desensitized to gore, to fear, by everything in society now. Zombies are the new black. Oh well.
