Soar shook his head, momentarily dizzied, and opened his eyes again to be greeted by the sight of feathery fist in face. This time, the wild pokémon meant business- the psychic type, though much heavier, flew a good distance before slamming against a tree.
Frantic to defend himself, he released another blast of energy at the Delibird.

Bell was glad that she had finally landed a good, solid blow on her foe. She hurried to strike him again while he was hopefully still recovering a bit and was, perhaps, less dangerous. She used another signal beam for its speediness.

Perhaps he should have moved, rather than stay in the same place; the next signal beam got him hard. He had the impression that Lore's battle pokémon, especially Potatobi, would not be proud of him at all.
The wild is full of dangerous and unfriendly things, thought Soar. ( ((Why are you doing this Q^Q )) ) would go the sparkly trail of light emanating from the extraterrestrial's core right now.
A crackle of electricity coursed through his arm before he released a charge beam from the palm of his hand to knock the remaining air out of the fluffy thing, if possible.

Soar's attack hit her harder than necessary, sending Bell skidding back several feet, finally coming to a rest near the very berry bush that Soar had disturbed not so long ago. With her frazzled feathers, Bell sort of resembled the ruined perfect berry, too. But unlike the berry, she was merely unconscious, and would recover in due time.
But she would not forget the deoxys that had so offended and wounded her.

Realizing that the Delibird wasn't getting back up, the Deoxys relaxed out of his dodge-ready stance and approached it carefully. A horizontal plane of light shone out from its core and scanned the pokémon for its vitals, which only caused the legendary to twitch at how much damage it had done. Maybe it should cast Recover. Which it did many more times than necessary, stopping at about a dozen times before it proceeded to various activities always in the immediate area, such as crouching and shaking its head furiously with human-forme hands covering his face in semi-panic, picking up berries from the area and putting them in a perfectly neat pile near the unconscious pokémon, pacing in circles at what to do, and at some point he'd even picked up the fluffy creature and hugged it.
Fluff. Fluff. Sooooo fluffy.
But then he thought she had twitched ever slightly and promptly fled the scene.
