Green King
The king kissed his wife tenderly, and with a slightly sheepish grin, turned to return to the castle. He nodded to the bishop as she passed him on her way back to Lilian's stall to see the queen. Then he stopped by the knight. "I am sorry, Arashi. Life is so often too short for all the love we have to pour into it." He patted the horse's nose gently.

Kina, Green Queen As Kris headed back towards the castle, Kina met the approaching bishop halfway. "Thank you for speaking with me, Bishop Oneia... As you know, I am in my ninth month and the child, well, the child has yet to be official in any one faith. Perhaps, it is time for that to change. What say you?" the queen told her, obviously thinking of something specific.

Arashi thought this over. "Thank you for the offer. I think it would be a good idea to get out. I've been in this stall everyday for a fortnight." She nodded as Oneia followed after the Queen, and then went outside herself. She took a deep breath of the fresh, Spring air. As she released it, she let go of all her worry...well, almost all of it. Then, with a small smile on her lips, so got to work looking for Carnations.

Oneia, Green Bishop
Hands folded across her stomach, Oneia nodded as she listened to the Queen's question. Her mind could not help but appreciate the events of the morning... Ah, the cycle makes itself well known, even amongst the same day! ..but she still had her duty to perform, even as amazed by providence as she was.
She did her best to keep her face in a neutral position, as she 'considered' the queen's words. The corners of her mouth were the first to lift, drawing the rest of her lips into a smile. A tilt of the head followed. "I think it would be best for the child to come into this world with an official faith. I trust you have one in mind." More of a statement than a question, she was curious, and a bit eager, to hear the response.

Kina,Green Queen The queen smiled and inclined her head. "I do indeed. Which is why I am coming to you in particular. I was hoping you could say the proper words and perform the proper rituals tonight. I think it would be good for morale if we made it as proper and public as possible.Normally I would give you more notice, but by the time I realized I had neglected to complete this... blessing, if you will, there really wasn't time to wait. The babe could come at any time."

Arashi made her way through a small thicket of trees. She then found a lovely looking meadow. The sun was beating down on the fresh, green grass. A slight breeze made the blades bow closer to the ground. Everywhere she looked, she saw brightly colored flower of every variety. She picked her way over to the Carnations. There were white, pink, yellow, purple, blue, and many more. Arashi picked the white ones, thought for a moment, then picked the ones that were the lightest shade of pink and yellow. At first glance, they appeared white. She was sure the Bishop wouldn't mind.

Oneia, Green Bishop The bishop couldn't hide her smile any longer, and she began grinning. Providence did seem to be smiling on her this day. Every moment fills her with more and more inspiration!
With a nod, she replied, "It would be my honor to dedicate your child at tonight's sermon, Queen Kina. Have you settled on a name for the child yet?"

Kina, Green Queen "Kris and I were thinking to name her Eve. Thank you for agreeing to this, Oneia. I really appreciate it!" Kina grinned in return and squeezed the bishop's arm.

Oneia, Green Bishop
Oneia blushed a bit at the sudden affection, and nodded. "As with anything, your majesty, it's my pleasure." She curtsied and rose, "I should go prepare for tonight's sermon then. I have a special addendum to add on Eve's behalf." Though her tone did hint of the importance of the matter, the smile still stuck to her face.

Kina, Green Queen "Of course. I look forward to the sermon," Kina said, stepping aside as to let the bishop out, "And I should go and inform Kris as to all that has happened. May your days be blessed." With that, the queen headed in a different direction, towards the private wing of the castle, to see her husband.

Oneia, Green Bishop "You as well, my queen." She bowed again, and stood still, watching her majesty walk toward the castle. Even with the life growing inside her, she still managed to stand on her own two feet with confidence. If it weren't for the bump around her midsection, it would be the glow she gave off that told everyone she was with child.
Oneia shook her head with a wry smile. That was not the life she chose. At least, in this lifetime. Turning, she ventured toward the back of the castle, to an entrance near the servants' quarters. While she would have liked to observe some of them, time pressed her today. Instead, she walked past them, giving those who observed her a gracious smile and wave.
Eventually, she turned down a side-alley, and looked up. Her chapel was just a modest cathedral. Although it was nearly three stories tall, the majority of the upper two stories lay in the buttressing of the wooden steeple and display of prominent figures via painted glass. It would easily fit the majority of the surrounding kingdom- if half of them didn't mind standing. And, it was always open, allowing anyone who needed a quiet place to search their spirit to enter and do so.
No one seemed to be around as Oneia made her way inside, moving past the pews and her pulpit, slipping into furthest alcove, and walking along dimmed corridor. At the end, she reached a simple wooden door that lacked a latch. She smiled. It was the simple things she enjoyed- no restrictions. Especially not when someone needed her. She pushed the door open and made her way into her office.. her study.
In the center there was an oak desk with stacks of paper and a quill pen on it, with three wooden chairs surrounding it The only chair of comfort sat in a corner, just beneath a hanging candelabra that the bishop was now working to light.
The walls were lined with books of all shapes and sizes. Many were outlined in various philosophies regarding mankind and philosophy itself. Others were of various studies that caught her eye- biology, gardening, astrology, to name a few. She would be referencing many of her books today.
"First things first," she murmured, snuffing out the match she had been using. She picked up her quill pen and began to peruse her section on fauna.
