"Compare the way my body looks to the magazines Don't know why everybody's buying into the scene So I'm gonna drive down the boulevard Not caring who has a faster car Tone down the makeup and the noise 'Cause what's inside will bring the boys... Rose bodaciously skipped into the music room, She was excited to finally express her talent with the world. Rose wasn't exactly super musically gifted or anything. She was one of those people would was not amazing or jaw-dropping but better then average. She had a soprano style voice, but it wasn't super beautifully trained like Al's was. It wasn't awful or anything. She had what you called a "cute voice" it was cute and stuff, but it wasn't made for Broadway or the big time. It was something you did to pass the time, when you were feeling sad or lonely or joyful. It had a catchy sound and made you smile, but it wasn't like Fi or Al. Not that she was angry she liked her voice and the cuteness of it.
She waved to her friends as she listened. Just as she walked in she heard a bit of the songs that had been sung and the stunned proud look on Lucas' face. She clapped her hands. "Omigawd!! You guys are so talented! You make me so jealous." She faked pouted and then giggled afterwards. "I am so voting for you on Muggle American Idol! I will like vote for you until the buttons on my muggle phone fall off! Or Simon Cowell personally has to tell me that I have reached my maximum votes..." She smiled. Rose saw Lucas and waved. "Haiiii Lucas! Oh and sorry about the wedding again...Is your head better?" She asked a bit worried about him.
But of course there was one instrument Rose could play. Drums. Not like classical and stuff. But heavy metal or rock and roll drumming. Kyle forced her to learn something because he said he didn't want her to be all "musically challenged." So it turned out she was pretty good at drums so she stuck with it. Where was Kyle these days? Oh yeah! His mom's baby. He had to check up on her every once and a while...not that she cared about his well being. "Hmmm. Does anyone see a drum set around here?" She pondered looking around, knowing she couldn't touch any instruments. I don't wanna look like you because You're too perfect, too perfect And I don't want to fill your shoes because It's not worth it, it's not worth it I don't fit the mold I am real Too colorful to conceal Imperfect is the new perfect"

sιχтнуєαяgяуƒƒιη∂σя Lucas flushed a bit. "Thanks, Rose." He said, grinning at her bubbly personality. "Naw, I'm fine, don't worry about it." He remembered well when, at Professor Epithia's wedding, her flower girl basket had hit him, pretty hard, on the head. It wouldn't have been so bad if it hadn't been a couple days before the full moon.
"Drums are back there." He said, pointing more towards the back, behind the guitars. There were only two sets of drums, but each one looked in amazing condition. It was a bit odd to think that Rose played drums, he knew she was high-spirited, but he couldn't picture a sweet, innocent-looking girl playing drums to heavy metal. AH well, stranger things have happened.

I MIGHT LOSE MY MIND FOR A WHILE
BUT I'LL BE FINE HAVE YOU HEARD THERE'S THIS THING THAT HEALS AND IT'S CALLED TIME ▂▃▃▄▄▄▅▅▅▅▄▄▄▃▃▂ Fionna just couldn't keep a blush off her face. By the time one disappeared Lucas managed to make another reappear. She smiled at the thought. It wasn't really a bad thing. She liked being complimented even if she didn't think she was as great as Lucas thought her to be. It still made her feel happy and special.
Fionna smiled and chuckled when Lucas went to get a guitar. She picked it up with him and then she heard a singing and while playing Fionna turned to see it was Al. Fionna loved her voice it was high but sweet and melodic and was really captivating. Her voice was amazing and one wouldn't believe it was the voice of a 3rd year. When they finished Fionna smiled at Al and said, "Your voice is amazing." She couldn't help but compliment on it. She knew how much Al loved music especially singing and she really was fantastic.
Fionna was about to think of something else to play when Rose entered. Fionna hadn't remembered Rose mentioning playing any instruments or singing and Fionna was a bit confused by her presence. She was even more confused by Rose's statement. Sure she knew about quite a few muggle things, but what was Rose talking about. "American Idol? Simon Cowell?" She mumbled out confused.
What had happened to Lucas' head at the wedding? Fionna must have missed something. "What happened to you head?" She asked quickly full of concern. She had turned toward Lucas wondering what on Earth had happened.
When Rose asked where the drums were Fionna turned back to Rose quickly and said, "You play drums Rose? Now how come you never mentioned anything about being musically inclined before." Fionna had a tilted accusing smile on her face really curious about Rose and the drums. Did she play the hardcore rock stuff or was she more classic? Honestly Fionna could barely picture her as the latter let alone the first option.

sιχтнуєαяgяуƒƒιη∂σя Lucas chuckled. "Oh, it was nothing. The flower basket accidentally hit my head. No big deal." He gave Fionna the shadow of a wink. She had known the wedding was just a couple days before the fullmoon, so she'd understand why he was so easily pummeled by a flower girl. Not to mention that the next full moon was coming up really soon...less than two weeks. He wasn't looking forward to it though, since Fionna wouldn't be there. Ah well, you can't have everything in life.
Lucas listened intently and curiously as Rose sat down to play the drums. Al had a strong, haunting voice, when you would expect some sweet little tone. Fionna seemed bubbly and preppy, when really she was very strong-willed as well. Rose was preppy and fun, so Lucas was expecting something with a good beat. Hardcore metal just didn't really seem likely, but, as Lucas had found out only too many times before, nothing is impossible and anything is possible.

Um, Excuse me. Did you say 'nerd?' Lily peeked into the doorway, checking down at her note. She didn't have too, the instruments in the rooms mostly gave it away that it was the music rooms. She had been invited to class. She hoped that it wasn't some stuck up club. Ugh. She'd been in enough if those. So it was. She sighed, quickly putting her hair up in a bun before walking in, and suddenly, she was awestruck.
"Wow." She mumbled, looking around. There were instruments everywhere. From the tuba to the clarinet. Wow. Her eyes locked on the baby grand, where Fionna was sitting. She hadn't played a piano in ages. Since her mom was with her. Then it'd been what? Eight years? Nine? Something like that. Her fingers danced and tapped on her thigh, itching to be in a keyboard, piano, anything.
The corner of her eyes caught the familiar build of Rose, heading towards the drum sets at the back of the room. She played drums? Well, it was a pretty easy instrument, right? Just; the beat? Okay, she had no idea. Just that you used drum sticks and you hit the drums.
Her eyes scanned all the instruments, from one side of the room to the other. She had always wanted to sing. But she has this terrible case of stage fright. It was common, wasn't it? Do she just stuck to piano. It was this thing, that probably everyone had, in some cases it was just stuck within. But Lily loved music. So, couldn't that be the reason she was in music class? She could not wait to get started.
I perfer the term; 'More intelligent then you.'

"Compare the way my body looks to the magazines Don't know why everybody's buying into the scene So I'm gonna drive down the boulevard Not caring who has a faster car Tone down the makeup and the noise 'Cause what's inside will bring the boys... Rose sighed dramatically in relief. "Oh thank Merlin! I was so worried you had brain damage!" She said tapping his head gently jokingly as she passed by. She turned to Fi and started giggling knowing she wasn't good with muggle stuff. Rose grew in a muggle neighborhood and went to muggle school for about 6 years and knew most everything about them. "Oh Sorry, Fi! I just mean that you sing really pretty, kay?" She asked trying to simplify what she had said earlier hoping Fi would understand her compliment.
She clapped her hands together when he said the drums were in the back. "Oh goodie! Thank you!" She said running up towards them. "Omigawd! They are in PERFECT condition!" She giggled. "Pulling out a drum stick and putting it behind her ear. She blushed when Fi asked. "Oh I never mentioned it because it is kind of embarrassing." She smiled sheepishly. "Kyle, my cousin." She stiffened a bit at his names as though it were hard for her to say. "He uh, taught me how to play a long time ago when I was younger. It was really just something to pass time. But then I got really good, he said I was a natural...So I kept on practicing and I guess I got pretty brilliant and stuff so I kept playing. I guess you can say I pretty good, like those amazing rock drummers for bands but like not quite.." She giggled with a smile to Fi's question.
She smiled and waved towards Lily. "Haiiiii Lily! How are you!" She shouted sweetly across the room to her with a bright happy wave. I don't wanna look like you because You're too perfect, too perfect And I don't want to fill your shoes because It's not worth it, it's not worth it I don't fit the mold I am real Too colorful to conceal Imperfect is the new perfect"

...Come play with me, won't you? ...I promise I don't bite. ☽ 3rd Year Ravenclaw ☾ "Yes you were being slow, but since you seem so eager to move now I think I'll just bum a ride off of you!" Scarlet scurried behind the tall Wizard after releasing his hand, slowing to put some distance between herself and him before rushing forward and leaping onto his back. "Go go go!" Scarlet was careful not to smash the violin case as she bounced on his back, the crisp cold wind sending her chocolate hair in all directions. She had her finger pointed forward to direct her 'steed', playful giggles and cries dancing from her lips past Jusk's ear as she rested her chin on his shoulder. "Were almost there... I wonder if Professor Sing is in today?"

Tyson CaffreyIf you are ashamed to stand by your colors, 7th Year Ravenclawyou had better seek another flag. Kierra played many instruments and he was a bit surprised at a few of the ones she spoke. He had never met anybody so into music in fact his old school had been pretty music free. Not even a choir. "Wow. I'd love to see them. I'll even translate. Flute is my only instrument. Well and piccolo but it's basically the same thing." He told her with a smile. It must be hard transitioning to a different. Language. Sure, Tyson had an accent but in Australia they spoke English as well so it was not hard for him.
Tyson waited for Kierra to come back down until they left to go to music class. He smiled at her not wanting to laugh and make her embarrassed about her pronunciation. "Well it is nice to meet you Kierra. You'll get it soon enough." Tyson was a great friend to people. He encouraged them and gave them confidence whenever possible. Any help he could give he would most likely do.
The pair exited the common room and headed down through the winding castle to find their way to the music room. Directions had been given, but it was still a bit difficult to find even after being here a while. The school was still confusing. "Ah here we are!" He said as he made a turn into a hallway and approached a door. Pushing it open, his eyes widened. "Wow." was what he said at the sight. Instruments were already in use and wonderful music was being produced. Tyson stepped inside to make room for Kierra to enter through the doorway.

JUSK FARON The Mutt. Ravenclaw 6th Year__________________ He’d been toying with the girl as he’d ran to music class, varying his speed, appearing completely idiotic to those who weren’t in on their muse. What he didn’t expect was the extra weight in which he’d then have to carry for the rest of the journey. Caution arose as Scarlet’s pace slowed; Jusk’s step faltered, unsure as to the girl’s actions when – ah, straight on the back. Uncomfortable by the confident fling of the girl whom he’d only just met, Jusk could only grunt in surprise as he wrapped his arms around her legs, continuing onward all the while feeling very, very awkward. "Go go go!" Scarlet yelled, motioning him to get going as though she were a knight and he her steed. The rider’s nature was hard for Jusk to bear, small whispers in the ear sending uneasy alarm bells ticking in the mental quarters. Still, he jogged onward, allowing the girl to have some fun.
Perhaps he too had perked up in attitude by the time they’d reached their destination. Jusk gently let the female he’d carried slide onto the ground, knees bent so to aid her dismount. He bunched the violin strap back onto his shoulder, for the case had manoeuvred to his elbow, smashing unpleasantly at his side as he'd ran. A flurry of musical tones leaked through the gaps of the door of the music class, enticing Jusk and Scarlett to join their musical acquaintances. Jusk felt somewhat reluctant to enter, but a quick glance in Scarlett’s direction sufficed otherwise, and he opened the door with confidence, embracing the madness of music.
There were many people occupying the space, each jamming on their instruments as though vain tainted professionals. Stifling an urge to grimace, Jusk dumped his violin case in the corner of the room, abandoning it immediately. He’d locked his cello in the cupboard and now was the time to retrieve it. Momentarily leaving Scarlet’s side, he ventured to the storage facility, returning with a large case in which housed his beloved string instrument. Having nodded politely toward a couple of students who seemingly took no notice of his welcoming whims, Jusk placed himself in the corner of the room with the bowless violin, unpacking the cello and tuning it feverishly, as though scared to make a noise. He didn’t like performing in public, though profoundly knowledgeable on the subject of music and skilled within the instrument he’d played throughout his teenage years.
Gathering that Scarlet would want to tend to her instrument, he waved her away casually, too focussed on fine tuning the darkened wood block bared between his knees. Though highly interested to discover his new friend’s musical talents, he’d been apart from his string beauty too long to abandon her for longer. He assumed Scarlet would return to his side shortly anyhow.
(OOC: Sorry it took so long, Moonlit)
