 Marcello Vargas Marcello got to his feet when he heard a knock on the door. He pat his thigh, making Sebby follow him out. Sebby rushed to the door first, preventing Marcello's feet so he didn't get stepped on by the slightly airheaded Italian. Marcello opened the door, a large smile on his face. "Ciao?" He said softly, looking to the male standing on the other side of the door. He still held his friendly smile. "Are you a dorm mate of mine~?" He stepped aside, allowing the other in as he picked up his cat and easily padded away, setting the animal onto a little cat bed he laid down for the animal and then he walked over to the other again. "My name is Marcello, and that there is Sebby." The Italian spoke politely, holding his hand out for a handshake.

The Norwegian nodded, both in response to the greeting and the question. He looked down almost questioningly before extending his own hand and grasping the other's lightly, shaking a bit. Jean stepped inside and looked around, quietly examining his surroundings before getting any more comfortable before speaking: "Pleased to meet you; my name is Jean. I believe some of my things are already-- oof!" As anticipated, he was then greeted by his penguin with an aggressive headbutt to the stomach(seeming to shoot out from under one of the bed's covers), knocking him flat on his back. "... Here.." He groaned a bit in slight pain, clutching his stomach and rolling over to his side, where his eyes met the bird again, squawking rather loudly in his face.
"Get down, you two! The bookcase is not a place to roost!"
"I wonder what it's like to fly...."  ((Out Of Olavtoppen:))

First day of school and he was already confused (though it had been really nice to see some of his family again). It had taken him quite some time to find his dorm. No one else seemed to be in here, though. Kasem set down his stuff in his room and sat down at his desk, pulling out his homework. He hummed to himself as he began working.❈ ░▒▓░▒▓░▒▓░▒▓░▒▓░▒▓░▒▓░▒▓░▒▓░▒▓░▒▓░▒▓░▒▓░▒▓░▒▓░▒▓ ❈ "Diplomacy is the key, ana~?"

Ivy sighed deeply, her heart pounding as she took hold of the cold, brass doorknob to her new Dorm Room. Maybe she should knock first? She felt her fingers tremble as she turned over the knob, anyway. Her shyness wasn't usually a big problem, but now that she was to be a Freshman at Axis High, she had to get used to people.
Just as she pushed the door open and peeked inside, her stomach lurched when she saw three other people already there. "Ugh..." She groaned and took a timid step inside.
At her side, Ivy's Malay Tiger cub, Laifu, wiggled past her legs and immedietly started bounding about the room excitedly. Her face grew hot in embarassment and she tried to call him back, but to little avail. "I'm so sorry!" She met the bewildered faces of the others, hoping she did not interupt any conversations taking place.
Quickly, she pretended to be more interested in finding her belongings- said to already be in her dorm -and called for Laifu once more. The creature responded this time and ran up to her; leaping up onto her new cheongsam she had bought the day before for her first day at school.
Ivy attempted to ignore any questioning looks she got as she went through her belongings to make sure everything was there and preparing her bed with the oriental sheets and pillows she also purchased for this day. After everything seemed to be in order, she turned to face her new dormmates and bowed slightly, "*Ni hao~ I-I am Singapore...o-or Ivy, if you will."

He turned to face her as she entered the dorm. Another roommate? She seemed to be a bit shy. Kasem smiled as he stood up in response to her bow.

Ivy flushed a deeper red and gave another small bow. "N-Nice to meet you, Mr. Chao." Her half-mumbled english was slurred and she hoped she didn't come off as offensive. "*Gum xia." She thanked him and straightened herself out; appearance was suddenly a big deal.
She wasn't sure about greeting other Nations, since there was various ways of doing that. Uhm, oh... She fret silently, then smiled and nodded to leave him to his studies.
Laifu wiggled around her legs, making soft murrs as he continued the inspection of his surroundings; oblivious to his owner's nervous aura. Perhaps getting some fresh air would do her good? So after going back over all the belongings she brought from home, Ivy quietly left the dorm to take a walk around the school.
