 "It's better to be hated for what you are than to be loved for what you are not." Alex grinned, "Close enough! That's not much different than swimming, except there's a little bit more water and more people and you're not naked!" He folded his arms and listened carefully to her logic, then simply stared her down until she finally appeared to have conceded. At that point his grin softened with satisfaction, "I promise you'll be safe. And yes, the 'suit' is basically glorified underclothes, but if it's any consolation, I think you'd look nice no matter what you wore. We'll make a day of it sometime alright? If you'd like to invite anyone else you know, feel free, might make you more comfortable." He offered a charming smile and wheeled his bag over to the closet, beginning to hang up his clothes including several nice shirts, exercise clothes and casual wear, plus a few pairs of shoes.
The last thing out of the case was a small stuffed bear about the size of a shoe. It was blue and wore a white shirt with an American flag stamp on the front. For a moment, Alex's face darkened, but he quickly shook it off and placed the bear up in the recesses of the closet, hoping Yuki hadn't seen it.

Hey little girl, sun on your shoulders And the light in your eyes I got a feelin' you ain't been readin' the news... Yuki blinked a couple times, her eyes wide and confused by his eagerness; she let out a sigh, though, and looked towards her lap, pushing up her glasses with her middle finger. His words weren't really consoling in the least. I'll look nice no matter what? Am I rooming with a leach? she couldn't help but wonder, shaking her head a bit as she watched him move on to his business. Out of the corner of her eye she noticed his little quest in the closet, and she caught the dark look. However, with just her peripheral vision she couldn't see what had caused it. It bothered her, however, she she hopped off the bed, literally shoving off and landing with both feet on the ground. She practically marched over to him and stared up at him. For a moment she simply stood there with a challenging glare before her face fell.
"You're tall." she muttered, frowning as she adjusted her own posture to try and appear taller. "I want you to..." she frowned a bit, if it really was glorified underwear, then did she really want him helping her choose it? Well, better than her going by herself. That would be disastrous. "I want you to help me buy a swimsuit." she finally stated, although with the determined expression set in her eyes, one might think she was asking him on a quest to save the world. Well, it wasn't something she had done before, so... After a moment, she remembered her manners. "Please." she rushed to add on, still standing at borderline attention. ...These days they say there's no silver linin' Still you find it every time The see the rain, you see the sunshine {|.Out.Of.Craziness.| even though she's in the library... the person I'm supposed to be with is on vaca; I'll post in here for now.}

 "It's better to be hated for what you are than to be loved for what you are not." Alex looked from side to side as though the glare was meant for someone else, "What?" he asked, his tone genuinely innocent, but then, nothing about an actor was ever genuine. For all she knew, he was a total perv, and yet she was trusting him with something she would never have considered trying otherwise. That was pretty cool of her. It would probably help if she knew he wasn't a perv, but that was something he couldn't convince her of, so she'd have to decide for herself.
He could only smile as she commented on his height, (he was rather tall for his age), but when she asked about a swimsuit, he raised an eyebrow, "Wait...what?" It took him a moment to process that she was, in fact, serious. Although stupefied, Alex closed the closet doors and shrugged, smiling kindly as though it were a common thing to ask, "Alright then, I can take you over to the store if you'd like. We might have to search around to find something that'll fit," he winked, "After all, you are pretty short." He moved past her to the door and held it open for her, "Shall we?" [exit](( Not sure how you want to do this, if your character is in the library...but there's the link for the clothing shop. It's where I'll be. :3 ))
